Glossary:

Bots: our affectionate name for victims of the MLM racket

MLM: Multi-level Marketing schemes - essentially pyramid schemes that are just legal because you sell a product. Reliant upon constant recruitment despite there not being enough people in the world to go beyond about 12 levels if everyone recruited 6.

Downline/Upline: the people you recruited and those who recruited you (going up and down the pyramid inverted funnel)

Timeless Vie: Parody of MLM schemes (though you might spot one in particular) that also carries out fearless investigative work. Flogging the amazing skinny lard and now carbonated lard. The arsenic is not the evil Victorian stuff. #TeamDannii #gettingalardon

Hommetrepreneur: also excellent parody site focussing on the menz

BotWatch: Rather more serious, keeps an eye on what the Bots are claiming next, particularly in reference to health and income claims. Also fearless.

Yes I think that's been a fairly common theme this year. We will see when they pick up their cheques and see what the excuses are for smaller cheques. And yet all year they've been saying how business is booming!!!

Memories of that fb video of the excruciating moment when a big fl bot got given a cheque much smaller than expected come flooding back. Perhaps they'll more be expecting it this year and will have their fake smiles ready for the camera.

I'm currently sitting in an airport people watching and have just seen a kid with a football shirt on sponsored by Herbalife! According to the DC the team is LA Galaxy.

Made me wonder if any other MLMs get their names about by sponsorship of sport? I can't remember if these threads have covered this or not.

In other news my FL bot is on a romantic childfree weekend break away with her DH and guess what???......she's still constantly posting the usual bollocks and trying to recruit whilst away! Why do the bots partners put up with it? It's not the money as she's not making much.

Maybe they hope - as something 'external' - that the obsession will 'run its course'? (Which in most cases it will - but only when they're flat broke.)

Long time lurker and occasional poster here. I can't post links on mobile but you may be interested in a video I've just watched on Facebook. Richie Howey who HATES all this JP, FL bollocks has just posted a video about FL and how they sent someone to infiltrate his group as they'd heard he was about to do a talk on how the C9 is a load of shit and how bad it is for you. (I am a member of his group but also hate the MLM bollocks)

Lurking bots, a few exercises you could do for yourselves, no need to post the answers:

Keep a 1 week diary of the hours you work on your "biz". Include time spent on upline groups, messages, time spent at social events wondering how to drop your biz into conversations, time spend having coffee with people on your prospect list, time spent taking lifestyle selfies etc…

Calculate your expenses. Include petrol, include your own orders/samples for your own use so you can promote that you use them etc.

Now. Take your weekly hours. Multiply by minimum wage. Add your expenses to this number. Is this much coming in from your biz? If not you are not breaking even.

1. If you haven't had any big bonus cheques/payouts yet, ask your upline these questions:

Is it paid out straight away as a lump sum? Are there any conditions?

I have lurked on these threads since the beginning but never posted here before. I have lots of bots that I take great delight in watching but one who is an actual friend. She is otherwise a lovely, sensible, intelligent woman. Anyway, she had just jumped ship from JP to "team EZ" . A quick Google doesn't come up with much. Anyone have any insights?

Has she run out of funds and is looking for a way to recoup?

Try rethinking the words before you search. So - Team EZ might become - say - EZ Money Team?

Oh yes there has defiantly been some huge FL cheque drops. Overall numbers are down hugely on last year as well as some of the big names dropping 1-2 levels.

People can often appear sensible and fine on the surface but have a mess of difficulties that they keep from you. Scammers of all kinds prey on people with difficulties - of all sorts. Sorry.

I love that vid from Richie Howey. I'm 100% not surprised they sent a spy into his group to follow him. There's so much paranoia and sneakiness in flp it's awful. I actually had a bit of a run in with Richie after I'd stopped flp. I wanted to join his monthly subscription group but he thought I was still selling products (I wasn't) so he wouldn't let me join. I totally understand why he said the things to me that he did but he wasn't justified in the way he spoke to me. I don't have any bad feeling towards him though. I agree with everything he says in his vids and glad the person came clean about what she had been sent to do. Just makes flp look so sneaky and desperate 😔
