Glossary:

Bots: our affectionate name for victims of the MLM racket

MLM: Multi-level Marketing schemes - essentially pyramid schemes that are just legal because you sell a product. Reliant upon constant recruitment despite there not being enough people in the world to go beyond about 12 levels if everyone recruited 6.

Downline/Upline: the people you recruited and those who recruited you (going up and down the pyramid inverted funnel)

Timeless Vie: Parody of MLM schemes (though you might spot one in particular) that also carries out fearless investigative work. Flogging the amazing skinny lard and now carbonated lard. The arsenic is not the evil Victorian stuff. #TeamDannii #gettingalardon

Hommetrepreneur: also excellent parody site focussing on the menz

BotWatch: Rather more serious, keeps an eye on what the Bots are claiming next, particularly in reference to health and income claims. Also fearless.

Inverted Funnel: Timeless Vie is NOT a pyramid - it's an inverted Funnel, OK?

Top Coffee Bot's new fella attacked Salon Bot on his page last night but the post was swiftly removed before I could get the popcorn!

Salon bot has posted a passive aggressive post, but not mentioning names.
The comments below it from her acolytes praising her for her 'ethics' have caused my irony detection meter to explode.

I've just watched a 'live' from a Liverpudlian chap who could not pronounce the word 'defamed' and who was protesting about other top bots buying their way to promotions and saying how he is honest and has integrity
But he is still in the business of recruiting people into an MLM and promising that in 3 to 5 years they can have a great income
There's clearly a sliding scale of integrity

Call me shallow but I do love a good Bot fight.

Ok, so I know this is cheeky, because I'm a lurker rather than a poster, but can someone pm me he name if Liverpool bot?!

I know who Salon bot is and saw the post this morning, with all the 'you ok? Love you hun' comments. But have no idea who Liverpool bot is.

Although I don't post, I'm an avid reader of these threads and the TV and Botwatch Facebook pages.

As if on cue, my bot is doing a "30 day digestive challenge". The hook for joining? If you're depressed, and on anti depressants, you should consider it as these fake chemical drugs given to you by doctor in chattel slavery to big pharma are no good. Depression starts in the gut. So sort out the gut with a magical protein shake sold by your bot and you'll get so much serotonin it'll blow your mind happy.

Another bot chips in immediately with more of the same.

I'm v confused I thought the top coffee bot and salon bot were the same person! But obviously not!

I actually feel a bit sorry for people when they end up in difficult situations. We can see it's an inevitable consequence of the business model but they are feeling 'so let down hun'.

Liverpool Bot's vid is totally cringeworthy. And I've looked through some of his posts. Pretty sure there's non compliance going on there, due t the fact that there is a reference in his fb to his companies products??

I'm not a regular on these threads but I'm gutted a good friend has been indoctrinated into that holiday thingy World Ventures. She's become so salesy and it really doesn't suit her. Is there anything I can do to encourage her back into the real world where friends are more than just potential sales? At the moment I'm just ignoring but having stated from the off that I was simply not interested. That didn't seem to compute though. What to do? Does she need an intervention of sorts or is she lost forever?

How can this be true and how can people believe it?

Btw, I started researching MLMs after a previously very lovely friend joined Arbonne. She is apparently high up in the U.K. And we just don't recognise her anymore.

She has become this insincere, gurning, selfie-taking, pushy, new-age, clean-eating, law of attraction, the universe has my back, 'rockstar' ''momtrepreneur'.

She uses photos of her poor kids and her fancy lifestyle to flog her 'business' and lure people in. Saying she left the corporate world for this AMAZING OPPRTUNITY. In truth, her husband has a verrrry well paying job that pays for their fancy house and lifestyle.

It is like she has been brainwashed and joined a cult.

She used to be so lovely and genuine.

It makes me so angry. Angry at her because she must know she is ripping people off and angry for the poor people she lures in.

She tried to recruit a vulnerable single mum at a party at my house once. I've not had her back since and warned the mum to steer clear.

I would cut her off completely but she is kind of related to my husband.

Pah.

I am also really confused. I thought top coffee bit was salon bot. Who is liverpool bot? Can someone pm me as I feel like I'm missing out!
