Still going strong here at bot watch HQ on MN!

Previous thread here

Botwatch on Wordpress and on Facebook

Timeless Vie on Wordpress and on Facebook

Eyespeying's Blog aka #manhun, even if he's been banned by MNHQ

Hommetepreneur on Facebook
www.lazymanandmoney.com/is-every-mlm-a-scam
We have our own regularly returning bots.

Glossary:

Bots: our affectionate name for victims of the MLM racket

MLM: Multi-level Marketing schemes - essentially pyramid schemes that are just legal because you sell a product. Reliant upon constant recruitment despite there not being enough people in the world to go beyond about 12 levels if everyone recruited 6.

Downline/Upline: the people you recruited and those who recruited you (going up and down the pyramid inverted funnel)

Timeless Vie: Parody of MLM schemes (though you might spot one in particular) that also carries out fearless investigative work. Flogging the amazing skinny lard and now carbonated lard. The arsenic is not the evil Victorian stuff. #TeamDannii #gettingalardon

Hommetrepreneur: also excellent parody site focussing on the menz

BotWatch: Rather more serious, keeps an eye on what the Bots are claiming next, particularly in reference to health and income claims. Also fearless.

Inverted Funnel: Timeless Vie is NOT a pyramid - it's an inverted Funnel, OK?

Eyes: Our former member Eyespying who knows LOTS about MLM schemes. He's still our very own #manhun.

Pose and pout.
Here's my downline
Earning nowt.
If it doesn't work
I'll just get out!
Chew up my teamies
And spit them out.

BSintolerant · 16/01/2017 22:41

Dora Grin

... assholery, punknuggets, and shitgibbons ...

Would India Backe-Hande call it Harseholery? 😂

FromIbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 17/01/2017 11:39

Wow they like to keep these bots busy don't they?

On top of all the get up at 6am to do mindset training, attend success days and then come home to do an evening team training in their PJs, read all the MLM literature by dubious "leaders" etc my bot now completes a daily Gratitude Diary

Here's my gratitude diary entries:
#thankfuckImnotaFLbot
#Ihavearealjob
#imnotbrainwashed

cozietoesie · 17/01/2017 12:00

A 'Gratitude Diary' ?

ScuttlbuttHarpy · 17/01/2017 12:34

Ahhhhh so she's now into bullet journalling too, don't worry that will soon take over her life and will be trying to steal the odd hour here and there to play with her journal and make it look pretty, obviously trying to get bujo fans into her "business" by instagramming with hashtags # bujo # bossbabe etc

SomethingPhishy · 17/01/2017 13:10

Ive got a Juice Plusser who was clogging up my facebook. I've changed it so I dont get any updates but if Im in need of cheering up, I go have a peep at her page. I just cannot understand why she does it, her family are minted, she lives in a lovely barn conversion, drives a private plated Range rover, dresses in joules/boden/designer countrywear, has horses & competes, on the face of it a comfortable life, just WHY! Does she really believe it all? Its a 'bulletproof product' (surely a vest is better in the face of oncoming gunfire?) & 'backed by science' (Dr M. Mouse perhaps).

cozietoesie · 17/01/2017 13:14

'backed by Science' ??

cozietoesie · 17/01/2017 13:15

science

SomethingPhishy · 17/01/2017 13:21

Heres the post in full. I've no idea how she manages to do anything with her 2 children & husband at weekends as she us always getting lots of messages!

There's a ferocious amount of copying going on, I suspect.

TiddlesUpATree · 17/01/2017 14:14

This gem was on my timeline today. Loosely translated - annoy your friends till they buy your shit

Actual Facebook post from a work colleague of mine who spent this weekend at a MLM jamboree.

I feel totally honoured to be associated with such inspirational leaders. Feeling ecstatic about the months and years ahead. What a brilliant, motivational day. What a business. Talk about being in the RIGHT place at the RIGHT time! TOO RIGHT!!

She used to be a good friend......Sad

cozietoesie · 17/01/2017 18:05

It sounds as if she'll be lost to you now. Sad Mostly, at any rate.

Cinderford · 17/01/2017 18:57

Oh, yes. I've given up on her. Four or five years now she's been involved, and managed to alienate everyone at work.

TinselTwins · 17/01/2017 20:29

Hello, can someone tell me please, is Le-Vel a new fresh hell of a MLM or is it just some new MLM product?

SSDGM · 17/01/2017 20:47

I dic a quick search and yes, it appears to be MLM-ing it's head off Angry Just what we need. Another one.

TinselTwins · 17/01/2017 20:49

What is it? My bots are at the ellusive stage… no info unless you PM them (as if) and I'm nosey and wanna know what they're flogging LOL

ItsyBitsyBikini · 17/01/2017 20:57

Sorry haven't RTFT yet but is Actilabs an MLM? An acquaintance is doing it and I've never heard it before but there are so many # after each post. Also I have a JPer and a Younique lady. I bloody attract them but as they're not actual friends I can just ignore. I feel sorry for anyone dragged into it

cozietoesie · 17/01/2017 21:13

If in doubt, Itsy, a first quick step is to do an internet search with the name of the organisation and adding 'MLM' after it. Why not try that and see what you can see? Wink

SSDGM · 17/01/2017 21:14

It appears to be weight loss patches etc. Utah based (as they all are) reasonably new and quite litigious from the links I read if you try to criticise them. All snake oil preying on what women supposedly want (to be slim, beautiful, popular, rich etc)

DoratheExplorer17 · 17/01/2017 21:30

Something Fishy....did you notice that it says free from artificial colours and aromas??? Don't most things claim to be free from artificial colours and flavours?? This makes me certain they flavour their capsules with something?

acatcalledjohn · 17/01/2017 21:30

Actilabs is MLM, yes (aka Actiderm)

Le-vel has been discussed on early threads, but I personally haven't seen much of it around really. I recall the website being littered with spelling mistakes/grammatical errors.

Totes profesh, hun!

OP posts:
ItsyBitsyBikini · 17/01/2017 21:40

Sorry cozie I meant to ask if it is a known one on the thread. I'm constantly telling people to Google things so I can't believe I didn't here!

acatcalledjohn · 17/01/2017 21:45

No need to apologise, itsy!

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 17/01/2017 21:52

As above. No need to apologise. Smile
