I've just done my bit for the cause!

I went onto Hot UK Deals to look for any bargainous football boot for DS and the first post was a 10% off Forever Living products and link to a fb page.

I quickly reported the post and it was taken down within minutes of it appearing! Result. Smile

You are an überhün Norbert

Kiss kiss

Babblehag · 04/10/2016 23:54

just seen an ad for Valentus coffee on a actibots wall, it has a 100% satisfaction guarantee, with a disclaimer saying that causes of being overweight vary from person to person whether its genetic or environmental (pretty sure the reason i'm overweight is because i like cake...alot) so effects of magic coffee will vary also. My god they will stop at nothing. And of course there's a nice big ad explaining how coffee is so lucrative and you can have a piece of the action, you can sign up here. I'm lost for words!

moreslackthanslick · 05/10/2016 10:04

I replied to an ad on a local selling page asking if she could throw in a unicorn farting glitter too.

Spongebobette · 05/10/2016 10:04

Excellent news from TV that University of Birmingham have withdrawn their offer to have an Arbonne rep speak at their Global enterprise week. Great work.

Strangely the bot in question has not mentioned this on her page and the crowing video of her announcing that she's doing this talk is still there, so her followers won't be disabused.

cozietoesie · 05/10/2016 10:04

Sorry, Babble, I'm confused. Sad

So it's 100% effective - unless it's not 100% effective?

Babblehag · 05/10/2016 10:55

apparently so??? The wording is quite misleading.
Very confused about the magic coffee, I do slimming world and coffee is syn free, until you add milk and sugar, I wonder how they've made it anti-calorific? I thought only celery did that?

Spongebobette · 05/10/2016 11:16

How negative and cynical you two are. Dream crushers. You are just jealous of these hardworking women and are clearly middle aged keyboard warriors with nothing better to do than attack people's dreams.
Neg heads

MyVisionsComeFromSoup · 05/10/2016 11:25

maybe you don't drink the coffee, you use it as an enema? That would presumably clear you out a bit, and lead to (some) weight loss? Never fancied colonic irrigation myself, so no idea of it's actual value to weight loss.

Spongebobette · 05/10/2016 12:27

Arbonne: Does anyone know what QVs and PQVs equate to in actual money?

I've been looking and can't find it. You have to get 1,200 points as a Consultant and 2,500 QV for district manager but what volume of sales is this in money?

Apparently 'Arbonnizing your home' will help you meet your targets. FFS

cozietoesie · 05/10/2016 12:36

I presume they mean throwing out all the 'other brands' stuff and replacing it with MLM product? Well that's true, Sponge. It would help you meet your targets.

How much it would cost you in hard cash is another matter entirely. Wink

hashtagwinning · 05/10/2016 14:30

PQV - equals what goes through your own personal account on Arbonne, you need to have at least 150 pqv to get paid

QV - is the overall qualifying volume that goes through your account from customer orders.

QV is attributed to full price product and each product has a different qv, it doesn't exactly correlate unfortunately. To put it into perspective, a hand creme cost £21 full price, you get 24 QV for it. However you aren't paying £21, you're getting a 35% discount so paying £13.65. You could buy 7 hand creams to get 168 PQV and be spending £95.

It's more complicated than that though as there are offers when you spend a certain amount etc...Also some products may cost less and give more QV.

Hope this helps!

hashtagwinning · 05/10/2016 14:30

It's a lot of hand cream going through your account and your downline basically :)

moreslackthanslick · 05/10/2016 14:52

Strange phenomena on my local selling pages! Lots of people asking, "Does anyone do Avon?" Wtf ? Hmmmmm

cozietoesie · 05/10/2016 14:58

There's been a recent advertising campaign on telly. Maybe people want to try some but don't want to actually join up?

Babblehag · 05/10/2016 15:31

christmas catalogues are coming out, reps generally triple there sales over chrimbo because of gift sets, also there's a new face cream that's proven to be 5x better than clarin's (massive study on it) and kenzo has a new perfume coming out exclusively to avon over christmas too. As for sign ups there is the £350 worth of goodies you get over 4 campaigns, but unlike the other mlm companies you get to make and keep your money, I'd say min earnings youd' get out of that deal is £115 based on commission rates, plus your goodies so that would be the reason if people want to join. But it might be just because of the products, a lot of people like Avon.

Spongebobette · 05/10/2016 20:11

Thank you hashtag but it's not much clearer! I just wondered how much sales in £ you need to do but (unsurprisingly) they don't make it straightforward

thetemptationofchocolate · 06/10/2016 10:45

I'd imagine it's kept complicated in all these MLM schemes. After all, those at the top won't want all their minions seeing a pattern and beginning to think for themselves, would they?

Babblehag · 06/10/2016 12:11

l was very confused with the case credit system with forever, and the commission earning system too tbh, it wasn't just a flat rate it went up or down depending on minion spend. With Avon you get a flat rate on sales, you know roughly what you will earn on sales. Although it does get a bit more complicated if you choose to recruit, however is still much easier to understand than Forevers logic. I'm guessing it is the same for Arbonne?? I think when you start getting to 3 or 4 levels of minions you have no idea what you earn from them, I think they design it that way for pure confusing amusement and to possibly short change you. You don't have a 3rd level of minion with Avon, it stops. much less confusion, although I do hear they may be bringing that in. but it'll definitely stop at forth level. unsustainable else.

cozietoesie · 06/10/2016 12:18

That is one heck of an autocorrect you have. Feed it strawberries. Grin

CheekySmile · 06/10/2016 12:45

I much prefer the minion system to case credits. How many minions do I need to get to reach assistant supervisor?

Toobusytowee · 06/10/2016 14:49

I just came across this interesting article on a project teaching children how to debunk bogus medical claims. I think this course needs to be delivered all over the world immediately. And maybe do an adult version too.

Here is an interesting bit at the end (in the attached photo).

The Ex-LTW bot,who clearly didn't learn and is now trying to sign people up for CoinSpace, has very few takers or even people that seem vaguely interested on Facebook.

Babblehag · 06/10/2016 21:31

Oh an arbonne bot just lolled at a young girl who started Avon on fb, feel like posting "at least she'll make more money than you love"...but I'm not a child.

Babblehag · 06/10/2016 21:33

How ever young girl has had more interest on her post in the last hour than arbonne bot has had in the last 2 years with all of hers.
