I am what an MLM-er would call a failure, as I didn't make my fortune out of the MLM I was in. But then neither did 99.9999% of any of the others in it. I think there were only about 5 people who did, out of the many thousands who were in it, and they only made money through the mindset training we were all told we had to do.

It doesn't bother me much being called a failure mind you. I'm a failure who owns my own home and has a job which improves other people's lives, for real. And I don't have to lie or disrespect other people to do it.

I would very much like to know the code list please as I'm getting a bit muddled with all these initials.

Welcome Bear. Maybe have a look at the exposition in on of the posts ^^ (maybe by Cubic?) for a detailed answer to that. In the interim, if you see one of those 'cheques', have a careful look at the placing of the decimal points. There may be lots of numbers but.................)

That's why I like THRUM. Such a serviceable word! (And multi-directional. )

Avon came knocking on the door and got me. I was on Mat leave, in my pyjamas, eating crap and showed the slightest bit of interest and suddenly they were in my house signing me up! To be honest, I did enjoy it for a while, it gave me the motivation to get out of the house and I felt good when I hit the minimum order value and 'made' money. But that quickly fizzled out as I realised that the magazines came out far too frequently to get consistent sales every campaign and I was just spending money myself and making very, very little. Then Munchkin was born and the though of schlepping around in the rain delivering and collecting magazines after a c-section was the last thing I wanted to do!

If I hadn't found this thread I think I probably would have been ripe for the picking for a bot. Probably not JP or FL but potentially something like Jamberry. I'm extremely grateful I found it. Luckily haven't been approached in RL on any mums groups and the one person I know who peddles something similar knows to give me a wide berth. Maybe due to Avon, more probably due to the fact that I don't really hold back in my opinion
