Thinking about all these numbers that keep appearing, is there an authorised FL advert that says 'earn £200 - £2000 per month' or whatever? If not, is there an express ban against using one? Because I presume that the burden of proof for an advert has to be with the advertiser - I mean you can't just make up numbers, right?

So the accounts show that in 2014 payments to distributors were around £28 million. There were around 36,000 distributors in 2014.

So if each distributor earned the 'mimimum' £200 per month, then the company would have needed to pay out £86m, and no one would get over £200 per month.

Now we know the truth is (going on 2015 numbers) that only about 10% of distributors are '4cc active' and get any money at all. Can anyone break down the numbers further so we can show how unlikely even the £200 a month is?

Flhahaha · 09/03/2016 12:16

Shirley the 2015 numbers were 61,000 distributors, of whom just over 6,000 were 4cc active (which i think means getting paid anything at all, but hopefully someone can clarify).

Slugsandcabbages · 09/03/2016 12:19

4cc active doesn't really translate very well to product turnover though because you can be 4cc active and have only sold 1cc of product (to yourself or customers) and the rest can be made up of recruiting as you get 2ccs for every recruit in the month.

MrGrumpy01 · 09/03/2016 12:23

I think to get your 'bonus' you need to be 4cc active (so the £56 a cc) but you still get your money from any sales i.e the difference between wholesale cost and sale price.

As an aside it was Tax training yesterday, maybe we underestimated them. (But obviously a whole day out and associated costs, though I believe this time the training was actually free)

cozietoesie · 09/03/2016 12:24

Tax training.

Oh to be a fly on the wall.

Slugsandcabbages · 09/03/2016 12:25

You need to be 4cc active and supervisor or above to get the bonus from your downlines. You still get the basic 35% on all your sales (assuming you are selling at RRP) and more if you are higher up the marketing plan.

Twunk · 09/03/2016 12:27

So how much does a bot get for a new Bot?

And how much do they get if a downline bot recruits?

Eyespying · 09/03/2016 12:32

Melaw21 Please feel free to go on, I particularly like 'fuckwit fodder.'

It is very important to use an accurate term like that to describe the hidden function of the 'unsaleable wampum products.'

cozietoesie · 09/03/2016 12:32

So if you've been 'awarded' an Amazon or eBay store, those £££ keep accruing without any work on your part? At the higher rate I mean.

Here's some stats I'd love to know:
What percentage of the retail value sold is made up of the 'business in a box' as opposed to anything else.
What percentage of an uberbots income comes from their 'tools' business
What percentage of managers (and above) bought their positions by various methods of jiggery pokery?

Eyespying · 09/03/2016 12:43

smiinky What a shame you don't work for the SFO.

Don't be daft. Those would be facts! Grin

smiinky · 09/03/2016 12:46

LOL yes I know! And we haven't a cats chance in hell of finding them out - I reckon we could make a good guess at them, though!

crumpetsfortea37 · 09/03/2016 12:46

I would like to know: how much revenue is generated from aloe products altogether (including business in a box) and how much is generated from service-related and non aloe products (training/success days/cases/etc)

Eyespying · 09/03/2016 12:49

'And we haven't a cats chance in hell of finding them out -'

Remember what it says in the Fraud Act 2006 (sections 2,3 &4) about withholding key-information and abusing positions of trust.

Slugsandcabbages · 09/03/2016 12:52

If you are an assistant supervisor you get £39 and 2ccs for each new bot, if your downline recruits you don't get any direct money, but the 2ccs show in your total (but not your personal) CCs. You get slightly more money for recruiting as you move up the marketing plan.

cozietoesie · 09/03/2016 12:57

I'd be kind of interested in intra-company payments - in particular, 'offset' allowances for the higher up ones. Smile

bossbabebot · 09/03/2016 12:59

All this 'CCs of a certain number to get to plummeting pigeon status' makes me feel quite dizzy - as Peter Kay says

'It's all mathematical bullshit'

Twunk · 09/03/2016 13:02

Oh. I STILL don't get where people make their money (the few that do that is), unless it's for giving "motivational" talks and training.

Cos like 4CCs seems to be about 80 quid, and it seems like a lot of work.

Twunk · 09/03/2016 13:03

Forgot to say - thanks slugs

Eyespying · 09/03/2016 13:06

bossbabebot In the end it doesn't matter in the slightest how the money is divided up in any closed market-swindle, the mathematics and jargon is thought-stopping BS. The only important fact is that the money has secretly been coming from finding more and more temporary contributing-participants in the closed-market.

lazycoo · 09/03/2016 13:09

I want shot glasses with the word 'tragicomic' written above the TV logo.

LMGTFY · 09/03/2016 13:09

I see a lot of the 'earn 200 to 2000' ads here that all appear to be kleeneeze, anyone know how this company works?

Slugsandcabbages · 09/03/2016 13:11

If you are assistant manager you make approx £82 for every cc of retail (if you sell at RRP). So if you retailed 2ccs and recruited a bot to make your 4ccs you'd be earning £200 a month.
