Have you received a letter from HMRC or Concentrix? This is part 8 now. Have you had the dreaded letter demandeing evidence you live alone? Hopefully we can support each other and try and make sense of it all.

Flojohns80 I wasn't able to log in online and I tried a few days after I was told case was closed on the phone and was able to and could see the following months payment amount which had changed slightly by a few pence. I really think your letter is on the way finally. With any luck it will arrive tomorrow x

Flojohns80 · 23/09/2016 21:22

Yes mine was about £14 less than normal payments but I don't even care I couldn't believe I could log in must have done it about four times just to make sure!.. of my word I don't want to jinx myself I pray to god though!.. will keep you posted 😘 Xx

Angeliqueinquest · 23/09/2016 21:27

Just thought I'd post on here for people that have been waiting a while, I posted my evidence in June and have only this morning got the letter saying it's all over! I never rang up or anything because I knew no one was living with me but it took over 4 month!! For them to look at my stuff and make a decision, ridiccculous.

whirlygirly · 23/09/2016 22:12

Oh my god, can also log in now and details unchanged. I owe them an overpayment though from last year, I'm sure. I'm hanging on to savings just in case the nightmare starts again. No letter yet so not counting chickens.

What an utter farce.

Flojohns80 · 24/09/2016 11:53

Loulabell habe just receive my letter no changes to current claim!!! Oh my word I cannot believe it 17 weeks of hell are over!!! Hope everyone receives their letter soon with good news.. thank you to everyone on this thread for kind words and support I will continue to stay on here to support where I can xx

Loulabell09 · 24/09/2016 12:16

Flojohns80 fantastic news, It's such a feeling of relief to get that letter. So pleased for you that it is finally over x

whirlygirly · 25/09/2016 21:46

So - logged in again and my payment has now changed- not loads, few pounds down a week as I'd have expected.

Could that mean they've updated the details I gave concentrix?? Come on letter!!!

mamamiaa · 25/09/2016 21:56

Ive just logged in to my account again and payments have gone down by over £100 a month, although i was expecting it, i am going to struggle Sad

Overtiredbackagain · 25/09/2016 22:52

I've just checked mine and it says I'm just a payment off £44 by 29 September? I had a payment in full Tuesday just this week. Lady time I checked my hmrc it said my next full payment was due end of October??

Overtiredbackagain · 25/09/2016 22:53

sorry, I'm getting about payment of £44 this week

Overtiredbackagain · 25/09/2016 22:55

I had a letter Friday to say my payments were not changing x

whirlygirly · 26/09/2016 06:57

Overtired, it might just be a tiny adjustment - or could they have put you on to weekly payments? Mine have always been weekly, don't know why.
Would that make sense? Otherwise I guess it's either a phone up job or wait until 29 and see when and what your next payment is. Hope you get sorted.

Overtiredbackagain · 26/09/2016 07:53

I get mine every 4 weeks. Have a full payment on Tuesday, now they are saying an extra £44 payment by Thursday this week.

I've waited 4 months for this to be over, I can wait another 4 days. Not had my new award yet for this tax year, although confused by the letter I had Friday to say no changes made.

Hey ho xx

mamamiaa · 26/09/2016 08:00

Overtired, i get mine every 4 weeks, logged on last night and it says i am getting a payment of £2.49 on the 29th and then my new amount as normal, but my new amount is £100 less than usual. The new letter says i should receive my new award within 10 days, but i feel like i cant wait that long ha! Im still jut glad its sorted x

Overtiredbackagain · 26/09/2016 08:03

Mine doesn't say what my new award is, just I'm getting this extra payment, so maybe I'm not getting any more?

NordicNoirRocks · 26/09/2016 13:13

I've received a today letter stating no changes to my current claim, after 16 weeks of waiting. Oh, and the letter reads "we are sorry if you have experienced any delays which have caused you worry or inconvenience". Fuckers..

mamamiaa · 26/09/2016 15:04

I have two payments one showing as child tax and the othet as working tax one as a payment on 29th as £2.49, which is a random amount, and then my working tax as being paid on normal date. So i don't know if the £2.49 is an extra payment or the last payment, its so confusing and i don't have the energy to phone them

Overtiredbackagain · 26/09/2016 15:09

Me neither Mama, for me, I will see what happens on the website once I have received the extra payment by Thursday.

Just when I thought I might be able to get a little straight, I am now working on the assumption that my payments will stop.

Sorrento2014 · 26/09/2016 15:22

Very interesting coverage on BBC news channel this morning which hopefully has raised profile of the chaos.Hope you all get resolutions very soon x

whirlygirly · 26/09/2016 16:12

So - best post ever today.

  • A unexpected cash back cheque for £50 for switching a utility provider
  • A small credit for something I was arguing with mobile provider
  • And the letter!!

Now just want to see the award and hopefully I can move on with my life. Also heard about a possible work promotion today which may get rid of my entitlement to all this altogether which would be the best outcome ever, fingers crossed.

Overtiredbackagain · 26/09/2016 16:26

Fab news whirly!

Loulabell09 · 26/09/2016 16:32

Great to see all the good news coming through eventually. Just noticed this thread is near capacity at 997 posts. When it reaches 1000 we can no longer post. Does anyone no how to start part 9 and put up a link for everyone. I would do it but not sure how x

Shell234 · 26/09/2016 20:26

I got my letter today saying no change to my award after 4 months of sheer worry I can breathe again . I'd just like to thank people who told me not to worry when it first happened . I never phoned concentrix as my money was never stopped so if you are in the same situation hang tight easier said than done I know!

mamamiaa · 27/09/2016 07:12

Hi all, I've started a new thread as this one is full but I'm not sure how to add the link. It is the same title but part 9
