Morgani97 · 23/01/2016 11:58

Have you received a letter from HMRC or Concentrix? This is part 8 now. Have you had the dreaded letter demandeing evidence you live alone? Hopefully we can support each other and try and make sense of it all.

OP posts:
youcannoteatconkers · 22/09/2016 08:54

'So where does that leave everyone? Because you all couldn't get off your arses to get a better paid job and waste tax payers money and complain constantly the end result is that you are putting people on the line where you all say you are!'

It said on the news that staff at Concentrix did NO work for THREE months due to the crap IT system and got paid for that. Many of them in guessing getting working tax credit or tax credits while working there as the wages I saw where not high.

So I'm not sure what your point is...

Loulabell09 · 22/09/2016 12:42

youcannoteatconkers SERIOUSLY r u for real! What exactly is your point? This is a thread for advice and support for people that have been investigated and put through hell by Concentrix. Through no fault of their own might I add. People like u make me sick, do u get a kick out of provoking people and trolling through threads. Go get a life u sad individual or one of these better paid jobs u say r so easy to come by. That should keep u busy feckin arsehole

Dayes123 · 22/09/2016 14:51

So I finally get through to concentrix and they have told me today that my investigation to my claim for childcare has been passed back to hrmc. What does that mean. I haven't been claiming since start of the summer I knocked it off the claim. Because I don't know what's going on only that I've over claimed change it too
Many times. I'm
A nervous bloody reck. Xx

Mazzy1981 · 22/09/2016 15:25

Getting slightly worried now as I've jsut sent a years worth of documentation to concentrix as advised and now everyone's are being passed back to hmrc!!! I hope to go they do not misplace all that info! Taken me 3 days to obtain it all and printing etc next day delivery all at a bloody huge cost!

Shell234 · 22/09/2016 20:43

I've not been able to log in my account. I recently told them my daughter is staying in education and I'm now able to access my account does this mean my case has been processed or am I still in the same boatConfused

whirlygirly · 22/09/2016 22:45

Still no news here. This has been ongoing since may now. My payments are still going in but on a different day, no communication at all from concentrix or hmrc.
Does anyone know if there is some deadline? I just can't believe how long it's dragging out.

Overtiredbackagain · 23/09/2016 06:11

May here too for me with no news.

Loulabell09 · 23/09/2016 07:46

Overtiredbackagain great to see you back on the thread but gutted for you that you are still waiting for closure. I know if I hadn't of kept ringing I would not have my case closed now. I was just lucky I got someone willing to deal with it there and then for me. Don't know if this may help but I phoned on a Friday night at 7 and when I got through to someone at 7.45 he said he would review it as he was staying for overtime and would be reviewing cases when phone lines closed x

Overtiredbackagain · 23/09/2016 07:59

I've only called once, a week after I sent papers. It took three months for them to return them. I know I have an overpayment so I'm not expecting good news.

youcannoteatconkers · 23/09/2016 08:14

Erm LOULABELL if you look at my post you will see quote marks. I was quoting and responding to themanwithnoface post which said what I had quoted (NOT ME!) and pointing out that many of the Concentrix staff were probably also families reliant on tax credits so I didn't understand his point in saying it is our fault for not working harder on better paid jobs that they lost theirs.

For the record I am self employed and receive both child and working tax credits.

Maybe you should read my post properly before you launch vile person attacks hey?

And as for the troll I've been here more than a decade on Mumsnet!

silentlyfume · 23/09/2016 08:15

youcannoteatconkers · 23/09/2016 08:21

13/09/2016 20:53 Manwithnoface

So apparently HMRC aren't renewing the contract? So where does that leave everyone? Because you all couldn't get off your arses to get a better paid job and waste tax payers money and complain constantly the end result is that you are putting people on the line where you all say you are! The people of concentric are hard working people who may not have a good process to follow but it is their job! Now because you all have complained these people are losing their jobs! Now those people with family's won't be able to feed their children! But as long as you screw the tax payers to get something for nothing it's all ok! Hope you are all proud

.........

LOOK MANWITHNOFACE post ^

Not fecking mine Angry

So less of the name calling yeah??!!

Loulabell09 · 23/09/2016 09:44

youcannoteatconkers when I read your post it seemed like more crap along the lines of manwithnoface. It was not clear to me that it was directed at manwithnoface who posted on the 13th. For my mistake I apoligise for attacking you but when I am referring to someone's post I direct it to them.

Overtiredbackagain · 23/09/2016 09:47

What on earth is going on?? I've heard nothing from Concentrix and up until today I have not been able to log-in to my Tax Credits on HMRC website, although I have been able to view PAYE stuff and that.

This morning I have logged in, I can now view my Tax Credit application and it says my next payment is due end of October (I received a payment earlier this week) and it is for the usual amount??? This is the first time I have been able to view this since the file went to Concentrix!

NordicNoirRocks · 23/09/2016 09:50

dayes I phoned Concentrix today, and my case is also back with HMRC. I changed my address since I submitted the childcare information, have you made any changes to your circumstances?

My timeline is: letter received in May, documentation received by Concentrix 6th June, documentation received back 13th July. No decision made yet.

youcannoteatconkers · 23/09/2016 11:23

I thought I had directed it to be honest Loulabell. I had obviously missed it off when I copied to quote the poster.

My point to manwithnoface was I didn't understand his point about Concentrix staff losing their contracts because of people complaining, or the point we should just shut up and find better paid jobs.

A) because if no one claimed working tax credits then Concentrix HMRC staff wouldn't have had a job anyway.

B. Having seen the job adverts for this role it was entirely possible in most lower positions that the advisors too claimed the very same tax credits.

So I didn't get their point especially as it has been proved the staff couldn't do any work for three months because of the IT system and therefore manwithnoface post for us to work harder was a bit hypocritical.

I'm sorry the staff may lose their job but not sorry this data fishing shambles has lost their contract.

Personal attacks aren't allowed on Mumsnet neither is troll hunting. If you suspect you report. However thanks the the apology. I apologise for the misunderstanding.

Anyway back to the thread being for the intended support it was written for. The numerous parts have got me through when I have been worried out of my mind as a single self employed Mum I am screwed. I'm hoping going back to HMRC will stop that for others and we don't simply get another clown company.

mamamiaa · 23/09/2016 11:42

Overtired, i remember your previous posts and your situation was similar to mine. I received my letter back from hmrc saying all is fine and can now log in on line to see my payments. I was expectingg a massive overpayment. Cant tell you how relived i am. You should receive your letter in next couple of days

Overtiredbackagain · 23/09/2016 12:01

Mama I remember us discussing it before, because our situation was the same. I just don't understand it? I was/am still expecting a massive overpayment. I haven't received a letter. I've checked my HMRC account daily and today has been the first time I can check my tax credits file.

Part of me wants to believe it is over, but I just can't until I see something in black and white. It has been 4 months of hell, the stress ruined my holiday away with the kids because it started just before we went on holiday, I've been stressing about money all this time Sad We are also now waiting to see whether our application for DLA for our youngest will be accepted, it just all seems so hard. Its just weird!!

I will be so relieved if my letter comes back clear, it means I can start to look for extra therapy for my DD, which she so needs Sad - and I can sleep again!

So glad its worked out for you Mama x

Flojohns80 · 23/09/2016 17:39

Haven't been on here for a few months but do read everyone's threads just to see how everyone is doing. I still am waiting to hear been four months now! Phoned concentrix yesterday to be told HMRC have taken my case back on Tuesday.. don't know if that's a good thing or not feel so sick constantly worrying living in limbo wondering if your money is going to stop or not and panicking what if they don't believe me and stop my payments how could I survive! .. CANNOT believe it's still going on and am so glad this company did not have their contract renewed.. yes it's a shame for the people who have lost their jobs and I truly sympathise for them. However this company is a farce

Overtiredbackagain · 23/09/2016 18:52
