Have you received a letter from HMRC or Concentrix? This is part 8 now. Have you had the dreaded letter demandeing evidence you live alone? Hopefully we can support each other and try and make sense of it all.

Manwithnoface - maybe they should have done their job proper then. Most of the workers are probably on tax credits themselves; your post makes no sense

Concentrix are not having their contract renewed.

Shouldstartaprotest16 just catching up as been away. So gutted for you, can't believe you have had your money stopped over a rent agreement when it is clear you pay it. Hope CAB where able to help today and this is sorted out soon. Hope everyone gets their cases resolved quickly now that media and MP's are on the case and understanding the extent this company are forcing families into complete poverty x

Manwithnoface, presumably all those concentrix employees will just go and get those better paid jobs you speak of. Because it's really that easy.

I feel so sorry for any decent people who work there, it must be hellish having to take call after call from upset people.

The reality for me though is that my renewal this year has taken over 2 months (and counting) more than ever before. I've not complained to them but I'm very anxious and frustrated by the lack of closure.

Man without a face do you work for concentrix by any chance ??? What an a@#hole! Better paid jobs ? Most people are probably in low paid jobs doing something they don't like to put food on the table for their families and rely on childcare support to be able to do so. My claim was correct so why the hell am I still waiting after 5 bloody months for my investigation to be closed ? I work full time in a professional role but rely on childcare support to be able to work . I don't give two hoots that people have lost their jobs maybe if they did them properly people wouldn't have to complain . Good luck everyone I hope that you all receive your payments backdated with compensation on top for the extreme stress caused to you all

Loullabell I was wondering were u had gone needed to hear ur soothing words lol. I hav to wait until next week for cab appointment! They ask for a rent agreement wich I assume is a tenancy agreement which I didn't hav and had to wait for it to be sent wich wuda taken me past concentrix original deadline for docs so sent rent statement instead wich says I'm lead tenant but that wasn't good enough apparently which no one ever told me on the dozen times I called them to check my docs were right. The problem I have is that my original tenancy agreement has ex,s name on as an occupant as forgot to change it and not quite sure how to prove my rent is payed through me as housing benefit pay it all. I'm goin to my mp also , a lady I spoke to at concentrix looked through my paperwork and said it looked fine and money should not have been stopped. All because concentrix hav targets to meet. I will be fully supporting waters is done to stop this company and there terrible code if conduct that is never followed anyway and us replaced by lies at the cost of people already struggling to make ends meet. And once again to man wiv no face, go away no ones interested!

Just came back on this thread,can't believe the post from manwithnocomment,are you for real this company did NOT do their jobs properly. Put many of us us under unbelievable stress. How dare you judge! Most of us are in our situations through no fault if our own,having our money stopped with no notice. This company were absolutely ruthless not caring about us or our children so good I hope they go through just a fraction of what we've all been through. Rant over lol. Hope everyone's doing ok x x

Shouldstartaprotest16 that was just petty nit picking to stop your claim when the rent statement was in your name and it was clear u were paying it. When I sent my docs in I included my housing benefit award letter which stated my name and amount I was paid even though this was not asked for. Would there be any chance of your landlord writing you a letter as I remember the ex Concentrix employee saying this carried more clout with them than a tenancy agreement. Hopefully CAB will be a big help to you. My sister has recently got the dreaded letter so although my case is closed she is only at the beginning of this horrendous process. Try to keep positive although I know that's easier said than done an get your MP on the case x

Good evening girls. First of all I would like to say a big thank you to Morgan for starti g this thread. It was a great help and support throughout this stressful time. I'm one of the victims of this ordeal and was reading posts since i received another adult letter,end of may. Sorry for being a silent reader,always was busy and lasy to sign up. I feel gulty for not sharing, better late than never.
I sent of my paperwork straight away and got them back in two weeks time saying they will get in touch soon. Called them a few times just to be told their system was down. I have to mention that my money hadn't stopped till now. Finally when I got through,this was mid july, the man who was a little anxious asks me why I was calling . I explained the situation and said it has been more than 2 months since it started and i need an update. He said that there was no need to call,if you received your docs back wait for the decision. He also said that we don't give the information over the phone,didn't even look at my case. Although my payments didn't stop I couldn't help thinking about it. I read so many stories where people were wrongly accused, suffered for months. A few days ago I decided to gove them a call again. After being on hold for an hour I was told that my case was looked at and closed with no amendments end of June. However I haven't received anything from them nor from hmrc. I still don't have my finalised letter and don't know what is going on.

User, it might be worth going back to hmrc now. Or seeing if you can see your payment details online maybe.

I think it's all gone to shit this year, I can't see this being sorted anytime soon, and i saw on the news last night how they've been deluged with calls in September - no shit, it's when everyone's childcare providers and costs change most. They just weren't in a position to cope - all of 2015/6's claims should have been done and dusted at that point.

Morning User,no need for thanks without some o you on this thread would've lost the plot.as whirlygirly said it might be worth a call to hrmc just to see what they say. On another point entirely if any of you are working and get the chance to do overtime please inform housing benefit if you claim it. I rang tax credits who said yes I can do overtime as long as its not permanent no one told me to inform housing benefit who've now stopped my hb claim and I have to pay it back from April and so another fight to fight x x x

It's been almost 10 weeks since we sent back our renewal with all the relevant proof of childcare and all Concentrix can tell me is that it's with a decision maker and they don't have any idea how long it's going to take.

We're getting a really small amount of Tax Credits, with no idea how they've worked it out as we have no award notice.

We're really struggling financially to keep up with our childcare costs now, we've almost run out of money until we both get paid at the end of the month. Last month was hard but we extended our overdraft and our nursery fees went into arrears, but we were told it would be processed by the beginning of September so we thought we'd be back on top of things. I don't know what else we can do now.

I need to ring concentrix but they're always busy!! They're trying to say I've been living with a partner for the last two years and trying to drag back money since then over 3k how can I contact them urgently to review this as I've been trying all day

Mazzy I just did it at work (lucky I can I know) and literally redialled about 30 times until the phone actually rang, then sat on hold for 40 mins.

The first time I got through, I cleared DPA and then they cut me off. I nearly cried.

Whirlygirly I feel your pain!!! It's winding me up soo much!! I have tweeted both them and hmrc and emailed a complaint and gave awful feedback! Bet no one calls me! I guess I'll have to wait for a threatening letter before I can get anyone's attention ffs

Wonder if anyone has had the same as me I have had two checks in two years one from hmrc one from concentrix both came back fine .( I rent a room in a house ) another adult living there but we are def financially Independant . I pay rent and buy my own food house and bills in his name had another letter from hmrc compliance yesterday to phone so I did the man was horrible accusing me and asking what my relationship is with my friend who I rent from . I explained about the other checks he wasn't interested he asked for bank statements from June to Aug this year ?? When I explained he basically said it looks bad ! When I really want to know if they decide the evidence isn't good enough ( even tho it has been and nothing's changed how far can the expect me to pay back . I sim paranoid now even tho the other checks were fine he was put to prove I was lying

Theres a group on Facebook called Concentrix mums I joined there's active 4000 + members we are all in same boat yous all should join it will open your eyes up. X

Ladies, should I be worried?

I was looked in to 18 months ago regarding working tax credit, all came back ok, but the ordeal was hellish.

DD and I live with my Mum. I am single. My male cousin has just moved in with us (temporarily) as my Auntie (his Mum) kicked him out. He is on the dole and has told them about the change in address. Should I be worried? Will they think he is my partner?!

Hi,, am the same 5 weeks this week no tax credits due to being wrongly accused of been in a relationship with previous tenant whom a don't even know makes matters worse a woman accused of being a lesbian 😡 I've got 2 kids and these a'''holes think it's ok to wrongly accuse us so angry concentrix there attitude stinks speak to u like a piece of s''t anyway I've sent all requested documents can anyone tell me if theve had any joy on getting there money back etc,, as usual concentrix engaged all day long 😡

OK so I've printed off a years worth of bank statements tenancy agreement and utility bills to send to prove I've not been with my sons dad that hasn't lived with us for 10 years!!! Has anyone else had their resolved yet and how long did it take? Should get costs back for all the printing and calls we are making! I'm sending my documents via recorded delivery just incase they try and say they never received the info! Don't trust them at all!

I finally got threw to concentrix which this man couldn't be any nicer strange last 2 I've spoke to were horrendous anyway he said my claim will be sent back over to hmrc has anyone else got told this ??

Concentrix and hmrc are advising to send all correspondence to concentrix hmrc don't seem to want anything to do with it when I called up yesterday. They're all blaming each other hmrc saying concentrix are the only ones that can sort it and won't speak to me and concentrix are stating that it's correct but hmrc are the ones that have given the information to stop the benefits? Not sure who to go to now tbh

It's all crap! People's cases that are in for mand consid are being slowly taken over by hmrc but I was told moday they would pass my case straight on to hmrc and that they would contact me. Wen they received it which should be in 48 hours so by today, rang concentrix back and what I was told was more lies! They said hmrc are taking back mand cons in batches so there's no time scale on how long il wait other than that all cases must b seen to by end of oct
