A letter from concentrix or HMRC part 6

Have you had a letter from concentrix or HRMC about another adult living at your address,letters querying child care etc,please post your experiences on this thread so we can support and help each other.

So I guess I get the picture now, if they investigate childcare and you don't respond they stop your childcare element, but you still get your child tax and working tax. If they investigate single claim they stop both child care and working tax if not happy with evidence provided or no response. If they investigate Employment check and you don't respond they stop working tax.

Hi everyone I recieved a letter earlier this week dated 21.07.15 saying they have looked at all documents and case closed no amendments. Then today received my documents bk with a letter no date on it saying thanks for documents we will write to you soon about your claim. Do you think it's just taken longer for documents to come bk and my case is still closed or do you think they are still looking into it? This happened to anyone elseen xxxx

Hi louise it's I just a standard letter sent back with documents there are quite a lot of us who had our case closed letters and then about 2 - 3 weeks later finally got our documents back, case is definitely closed!
I think the case closed letters are being sent from the office in Dublin so arriving before our documents as the mail room in lancing has also got a backlog for returning documents. Hope this helps x

Hope that makes sense, although I have said office is in Dublin but I think I put wrong place down I think it's Belfast lol

Mumdad I presume you got your documents back now as I was same dates as you and have received my documents back a few minutes ago, with the standard letter. Why oh why though have my nerves turned to absolute shit now Sad
I'm worried sick that my money going to get stopped during school holidays, daughter starting high school needing all her uniform buying, food, transport for schools as they're miles away, a thousand worries. Trying to figure out what bills I can cut right now to save money just incase were living on rations. Scared to death because of Morgans situation. How long from document returns to descision are we looking at?

Hate concentrix your money should continue hun the same until you get a desicion. Had my standard letter back 2 weeks ago and money went in fine.

I have not even got my docs back. When were you're docs signed for miss e . I have a panic every wed now it's bloody ridiculous that they can't hurry it up now. Some get decisions on obone others told it can't happen. Even Hmrc have no clue I got told then can't contact them by phone only email and they take weeks to even reply to them

Scousejo1967 my documents were signed 8th June they said my childcare costs are wrong I don't get a lot only 982 pound a year from hmrc than I pay the extra myself . I asked my childcare provider to write me a letter how much I pay and he did and u send that off with those sheets that you have to calculate your average cost. Which I don't think I have done it right cause my maths skills are shit. It's been 12 years since I done my maths GCSE in Maths.

So I don't know how they going to work it out am sure they have better maths knowledge than me. I m bracing myself with an overpayment or god knows what.

Scousejo1967 my mum was like don't be worried it's not that you are owe them thousands but I don't want to have an overpayment as u already have one which I had another overpayment of 800 pound left to pay until it clears from my award from my previous childcare provider cause I over claimed while my son went to private nursery back in 2010.

No I haven't Scousejo1967 am just going to wait. I tried to call them can't get through. And I know with childcare they need time to do the working out. My parents had to buy my sons uniform out of their pension credit just incase my money goes down. They are so concerned with my health as am having trouble sleeping and not eating that much. My brothers are taking me on holiday next week for 3 weeks so going to try and switch my brain off from all of this.

I received my letter 1st June, they received my documents 12th June, my cut off date was 1st July and I received my documents back today with the standard letter that they write to me soon.
My check is another person check. Only person lived with me was my father after his relationship broke down with his 2nd wife. But I'm sat worrying about silly bank transfers, lending or recieving money off people being good enough reason for them to ruin me and my kids Confused.
