Mel25murf · 07/07/2015 09:16

I phoned HMRC this morning to see if they had any information in my renewal-text I received on 19th May said up to 8 weeks which will be next Tuesday 14th July. I asked the man for an Update and he said as it was with concentrix IT will take uo to 10 weeks so 24th July. I asked what was taking them so long given they have had my information signed for since 4th June, he said I've done what I have been asked so now it's up to them to sort it out. I said, well it's obviously going to take longer then given they have signed for my information in the 4th June and it's almost 5 weeks and I've heard nothing!

I am now phoning concentrix again to see what's going on and why people who's information was signed for after mine have already had theirs resolved and mine is still ongoing and how much longer it is going to take to deal with. Ridiculous, they give us 4 weeks to gather a years worth of paperwork with the threat of stopping oayments, that if they were so inclined could easily and much quicker than we could gain access to and then they tell us 10 weeks, maybe more, who knows when as they have a huge back log which is not our doing! Scandalous!

Took me 30 minutes to get through to HMRC and so far I have been on the phone waiting for 16 minutes for someone at concentrix to answer!

Pinkyroo1 · 07/07/2015 09:25

I'm on hold have been for 35 mins so far. It's a joke just don't understand this at all.

zolabud81 · 07/07/2015 09:38

mel25murf so concentrix have sigend for your papaerwork but not scanned it onsystem yet ?

Mel25murf · 07/07/2015 09:46

It's on the system, they just haven't dealt with it? It was scanned onto the system on the 30th. They've had it on the system a week so I'd expect them to have dealt with it by now!

alexa15 · 07/07/2015 09:51

Dont know when i should ring again? Keep getting told they are still not scanned on..signed for on 9th but man on phone yest said they were only up to 6th..but that cant be right if zolabud81s are in and they told someone else they were up to 8th and 9th..do u think theyve lost my docs? Cant stop worrying now

zolabud81 · 07/07/2015 09:52

mel25murf when u get through to to concentrix get them deal with it there and then over phone if they refuse to then ask to speak to a manager thats what i done yesterday he even phoned me back to save my bill and got a case worker to deal with it there and the over the phone took bout 40mins for them to go through my evidence and close the case hope this helps

Mel25murf · 07/07/2015 09:53

I think Zolabud feared the same alexa15, but I believe hers are now on the system. I just think it's pot luck as to Hiw and when they deal with it. So I wouldn't worry yet!

Mel25murf · 07/07/2015 09:54

Thanks zolabud81 I will see if I can get some sense. 55 minutes wIting so far.

Pinky roo let us know how you get on if they answer!

alexa15 · 07/07/2015 09:59

Thanks for putting my mind at rest.maybe i should ring thurs?

mazzaT · 07/07/2015 10:12

I received the letter, living with partner etc, I'm not, sent in years worth of info. Signed for on June 1. July 2nd, get the exact same letter asking for same said info, if not received by 9 July, they will stop tax credits. Rang concentrix, put on hold for an hour, then get cut off. Phone call on landline cost best part of 10 pounds, we careful, they are not free calls. Sent another special delivery letter on 3rd July. Will have to wait and see now if they stop my credits. Don't know if it's worth wasting money phoning again, only to get cut off. What do you guys think?

Mel25murf · 07/07/2015 10:14

Ok, so I've just come off the phone! The man put me on hold whilst he checked my documents and he said that everything looked in order and he was going to do it himself there and then and close the case and issue a letter to confirm it's closed and our claim was correct and then HMRC can sort out our renewal.

I just hope he isn't telling porkies and the thing that gets me is, if they can do it that quickly in 10 minutes over the phone then why is it that they signed for my documents on the 4th June. Scanned them to the system on the 30th June, but did nothing with them until I phoned this morning? Terrible for people who have been told to wait for a letter and then they do nothing until you do actually ring!

Good Luck to everyone else and I will update when I get a letter/my renewal so that it gives an idea of timescales. I will hang around to give advice too.

Scousejo1967 · 07/07/2015 10:28

Mazza did they ask you for exactly same info you already have ? They sent me a letter saying we need information I thought it waste same but on the back they asked me for specific thing to resend my bank statements x

missymoo18 · 07/07/2015 10:42

mazzaT same thing happened to me, I phoned on 2 July and told them I couldn't send the info as they already had it, looked at my case there and then and closed it, going to phone hmrc later today and see what stage I'm at now

mazzaT · 07/07/2015 10:52

Yes Scousjo, it was exactly the same letter, wanting what I had already sent, I wrote to them last Friday explaining they had all my information signed for on June 1, and that I had been cut off on the phone after waiting an hour to speak to someone, am reluctant to phone again, it has cost me 25 pounds so far sending letters, hanging in phone. Tried to speak to someone at hmrc, got a rude woman telling me, deal with concentrix, not with them. It's pathetic!

smokie19 · 07/07/2015 11:14

i sent my info 28th may there recieved 29th, when i rang the 16th june i was told on system and my documents had been returned, i again rang last wk and was told was finalisd i recieved a lettr stateing no amendments and today i have finally recied my dicuments back but as yet no award notice

smokie19 · 07/07/2015 11:21
