Just received a letter from Concentrix basically saying my award will stay the same etc..
Does this mean after all these months it's finally over?

Morgan97 · 28/07/2015 14:16

Icantbeleiveitsnotbutter I think you can safely breath a sigh of relief if you've got it in writing but ring just to make sure x

My case was closed 10th july but still not got our docs back!

Icantbelieveitsnotbutter · 28/07/2015 14:32

They've not sent my documents back though.
I really need them for the housing.

Hopefully everything is ok

Hi I had a letter off concentrix asking for proof of childcare costs, I had my documents returned to me on the 19th of June with a letter saying they would be in touch. I've heard nothing since but my daughter starts school in September so my husband phoned tax credits 2 weeks ago to cancel our claim and they dealt with him and we got a letter yesterday about the changes we made. If tax credits are dealing with us does that mean the concentrix investigation is closed and they just haven't bothered to tell us? I'm not bothered about phoning them to chase it up because our payments are stopped now anyway I just stress waiting to hear back

Scousejo1967 · 28/07/2015 18:28

Yes Hmrc won't deal with anything until Concentrix are finished

Mummy4625 · 28/07/2015 18:50

Thanks! Must be closed then! Wonder what the outcome was because I thought id overestimated childcare costs due to illness etc

Dollygem · 28/07/2015 20:28

Well rang them again tonight! My case has gone through the first stage of making there decision (there are two stages apparently, one checks and one double checks!) they have come up with that I am .6 of a hour under 16 hrs a week, I explained again that I've been ill and what's wrong with me, I also explained that I have tried to work overtime wherever possible to make up for anytime lost, which I have, he said yes I can see this from your wage slips, he then went on to say that to be honest if it's less than an hour under 16hrs a week they normally give you the benefit of the doubt and it should be overturned and be ok but has advised me to get my boss to write another letter stating that my usual hours are 16+ a week and it is only due to being ill that I have lost time, and about me working overtime to get my hours back up I've missed and to send it in! I then asked is that letter going delay my claim again and he said they have stopped sending letters out now so the back log is going down more quickly, he then said he thinks it will be overturned once through the second stage of decision making as he has just noted down what I'd told him, but to send letter anyway as if it's not overturned now then once they have the letter they can do it then! So off to post office again in the morning with the letter my boss is going to write me, recorded delivery again! Hoping it just gets sorted from the second stage and the letter isn't needed in the end but then at the minute everything I touch stuffs up so doubt it.

Scousejo1967 · 28/07/2015 23:30

Hope they sort it for you dolly . How can they do the Descion over the phone then if it's a two stage Descion ? Don't understand it .

dontneedthis · 29/07/2015 11:01

Has anyone posted docs after 26 June?any info back?

kayleighdean198615 · 29/07/2015 11:14

I am on hold now as I write what a joke this company are I did my renewal 3 months ago not heard a thing because of this and my payments were lower my date was July 21 seem to have got my checks later than most people. I spoke to someone last week who was very helpful indeed told me to ring back today and check my documents are not even on system yet mine was another adult Check so far I'd only spoke to snotty ones who wouldn't say much they guy I spoke to last week went as far as to tell me that they have 2 names on the system one from 2010 and one from 2012 I didn't even live at my property in 2010 and as for 2012 not a clue so I'm hoping I get a nice one today and if my docs are on system try get it done on the phone earlier I'm a single parent to and 7 months pregnant the stress they put me. Through is wrong I can't even claim. Healthy start vouchers until this is sorted luckily my child tax is still in payment!! Judging by the comments I've seen on here I hold out no hope for resolution soon

dontneedthis · 29/07/2015 11:20

Kayleighdean I am on hold aswell...its been over a month and I have not heard anything..It's so stressful..hope you get through to someone nice...or actually goodluck getting through

kayleighdean198615 · 29/07/2015 11:40

Wow 30mins quickest phone call I've ever had to them however documents still not scanned they are up to the 30th June apparently

Morgan97 · 29/07/2015 11:46

Kayleighdean trust me when I say they don't rush themselves I had my money stopped in march due to lack of sufficient evidence that I was single. It took nearly three months for m to get it sorted, there were Tim's when I nearly gave up the stress was unbelievable but I persevered and I got there in the end. The support on this thread helped me loads its the not knowing what's happening that's the worse. Good luck with your call I hope you get some answers soon.

So I got through and was told my documents were scanned yesterday and it's in the process of decision which will take two weeks..She didn't ask me any questions about my university fees...i don't know if I should call them to clarify but I asked if she needed info will they contact me before any decision..and she said yes..so am unsure if she's telling the truth or fobbing me of..any advice on what I should do?

Scousejo1967 · 29/07/2015 13:56

Don't need this I would leave ringing them it might confuse them when did they receive you're docs ? Mine was 22 Nd June just hoping they are scanned
