A letter from concentrix or HMRC part 6

Have you had a letter from concentrix or HRMC about another adult living at your address,letters querying child care etc,please post your experiences on this thread so we can support and help each other.

Mel25murf that is what seems to be happening your stuff goes on but they don't look at it until you ring. ..same happened to me last week ..was sorted there and then on the phone. Have yet to contact hmrc to confirm though!

I thought they should be clearing back log before opening up new cases but after seeing more names on here that doesn't appear to be the case! !

Cazzmog it's depends on what kind of checks. My is childcare and I think it will take longer because they have to do calculations.

Alexa15 u was the same as me worried they got lost please hun relax they won't be lost just probably a lot of post for that day to get through I know it's easier said than done but u will be fine and Mel25murf gladu took my advice and got them to to ddo it there and then I stayed on hold until they actually closed the case if u row r red I phoned hmrc a hour later to confirm concentrix had closed the case and they said they had

My documents have arrived back to me today recorded delivery, no date on letter with them, phoned hmrc who have confirmed case with concentrix closed but it can take 10 weeks from when I renewed originally online, for me that's next Monday

Mel & Smokie what checks did you have ? My dates are very similar to yours. Mine is a childcare check. I had my documents back a week ago.
Am I the only one who had their award finalised before receiving a letter from Concentrix ?

I think the only thing we can do is to TRY not to think about it.

I had the 'we believe your payments are wrong' letter from concentrix on June 8th.

Sent everything they asked for by the 11th. A ton of paperwork It was signed for on the 15th. They also asked me to include my renewal pack.

My cut-off date for sending it is tomorrow.

I've telephoned HMRC, they won't take my renewal over the phone, as my details are with concentrix.

I've just been hanging on the phone to concentrix for one hour and four minutes.....then they cut me off.

I give up Confused

So glad this and the other 5 threads exist. Thinking of you all that are being made to stress out over this x

Just spoke to hmrc and my renewal has been finalised but no payment schedule this just gets worse what the hell is goin on with them

Has anyone had a payment schedule. I was told award finalised but I didn't ask about payment schedule, I was just assuming it was as per the provisional payments as there was no changes ?

Think so. There's talk of limiting child tax credit to 2 children. How did they come up with that. So if you have an older child and then twins one goes without. That osborne is a total knob

The day after my case was closed I called hmrc (Thursday)who said my award was finalised, they knew my total amount for the year but didn't have my weekly payments. I called again the day after that (Friday) and they had me payment schedule. I think the finalise the previous year first and the. Work put your weekly/monthly amounts.
If you have called today and your award is finalised but no payment schedule then try calling again tomorrow

I have 2 step kids 14 and 15 and 18 month old boy and baby girl on the way so I will only get tax credits for my step kids what happens when there 18 and leave full time education do I get tax crdits for my 2 baby's then

It's worse than just limiting it to 2 children, they are planning on deducting tax credits rates back to 2003/2004 levels which will cut tax credits by £845 per child, per year! That is a huge chunk for some families, if you have 3,4,5 kids! I really do feel for people when tomorrow's cuts are announced!

So your saying that I'll only get tax crdits for my 2 step kids and that for both of them ill be 875 quid for each of the 2 worse off

I'm sure any cuts are to be implemented in 2017 plus are meant to be for new claimants not existing ones. I may be wrong but I must have read this somewhere ! I have 5 children both myself and my hubby work but we receive child tax credits - we would be poverty stricken !

still waiting for mine!
I know it's all done and not worried about it but would be nice to get the letter confirming it!
