Morgan97 · 23/06/2015 19:42

Hey girls thought I'd start a part 4 before part 3 reaches the limit. Anyone having received a letter from concentric or hrmc telling you they have evidence of you living with another adult please join us with your experiences, comments or support.

We're does it actually say calling is suspicious ciara or is it just word if mouth?

It should be purely based on who is doing wrong and who isn't imo.

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 15:11

I agree with you Jonny they have private and confidential information,
I think the calls relate if you are saying something different everytime and incriminating yourself, not if you are only asking if your documents have been returned yet

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 15:12

From what I read it is only if you are saying something inconsistent with your claim that is causes a problem

jonny82 · 24/06/2015 15:12

And the recording of calls is great as the amount of lies I have been told would be nice to bring up lol.

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 15:15

Good point Jonny!

When did you last speak to them, where were they up to with scanning documents?

I was going to call again on Friday

jonny82 · 24/06/2015 15:20

Yesterday and i think he said like the 3rd-4th June they were up to.

I'm gonna ring Mon tues as our deadline is a week tomorrow.

He did say as sent special del it will be ok regarding payments.

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 15:24

Thank you for letting me know, maybe I will try and hang off till Monday then as should definitely be on by then if that's the case.

Does anyone know if will they provide me with the tracking number once they have sent my items back so I can track it myself?

babyalan13 · 24/06/2015 15:39

Reading some of that I don't no!! Something has obviously flagged up on the system that we are dodgy!! Lol its not random!! Suppose me not telling them about maternity is dodgy! I don't no! But income went down so what odds!!!

babyalan13 · 24/06/2015 15:42

Fed up? They looking at our hours and not income! Income is a separate listing. Ours is work and hours. Which is strange why anyone would lie about that I don't no!! They probably think my income is low because am 30 hours but only work 39 weeks. I'll probably get a fine for that!!!

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 15:49

I don't think they are going by their contract as if you read the contract it has in day 1, before they send the letter out if they think there is a risk with childcare/work they need to contact the provider or employer to check with them and only if there was a discrepancy with the information they give them and the information they hold was they meant to send a letter.

I haven't seen anyone on here say they have contacted the childcare provides or employers, if they had letter would never have gone out.
Everything on mine is correct, as is yours and jonnys and had they contacted are employers we would never of got a letter in the first place!

They are just hoping that by going ahead sending all these letters out they will get some that are wrong and make some extra money on them.
They are obviously not abiding by the terms of their contract with hmrc

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 15:50

You can't get a fine for that baby and does it say on letter from your employer that you are a term time only worker?

babyalan13 · 24/06/2015 15:53

Nah my employer said nothing about contacting them. But my problem is I work in northern Ireland but head office is in Scotland and they wouldn't have a clue who I an!!am so dying to phone again!! I hope the hours one is straight forward. We either work the hours or we don't!! Pretty simple really!

babyalan13 · 24/06/2015 15:54

Aye!! She wrote it in bold! Am contracted to 30 hours but only work 39 weeks as it states in contract. So if they don't believe that letter am screwed!!

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 16:00

No reason for them not to believe that, you work at a as well school don't you? So letter will have the schools letter head on it and they will know schools aren't open 52 weeks a year!

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 16:01

Was you able to supply you original contract of employment along with the letter?

cazzymog · 24/06/2015 16:08

Baby it's ok. I work in a school too. And if you read the benefits revenue thing we are classed as "special circumstances " we are classed as working those hours each week as schools close . I'll find the Web site. ..www.revenuebenefits.org.uk/tax-credits/guidance/how-do-tax-credits-work/entitlement/wtc-elements/#Term time and seasonal workers

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 16:12

Thanks crazy I hope that puts baby's mind at rest I had read that before and it's a great help. I think baby is worried after reading link that she had been flagged up for something but I think they are just posting letters to everyone even if not a risk!

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 16:13

Should have said cazzy sorry!

babyalan13 · 24/06/2015 16:16

Thanks! Am panicking! Trying to think of things I've done wrong! Lol I didn't send original contract as I lost it! Like I loose everything! But employer wrote on letter if they had any issues they could her! Not much else I can do! I wish this was over

babyalan13 · 24/06/2015 16:17

Contact her or payroll department

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 16:20

I'm sure that will be fine baby, i just wish they dealt with all this quicker, like you I have send everything nothing else I can send to prove I am employed and how many hours I work!

You haven't done anything wrong just remember that!

Can't tell you not worry as I am also worrying like mad but as you say not much else we can do! Just a waiting game now, in the hope they speed up and get done ASAP

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 16:22

The silly thing is baby is they already get all our income sent to them monthly and annually via real time information so it's crazy they asked for p60's and payslips, should just have asked for prove of hours worked, wonder how many unnecessary documents they have asked for which is possibly another cause of the backlog!

efergie82 · 24/06/2015 16:37

"The Contractor will be judged against customer focused outcome and key performance indicators " this focused customer says they fail!

12fedup12 · 24/06/2015 16:39

They fail across the board on everything!

From reading that contract it looks like from sending the letter to closing the case should be 31 days! Epic fail
