Baby it's disgusting that they stop payments without warning but they do! So pleased to hear positive outcomes on here,I'm still fighting the fight but sinking lower and lower give me a bloody break

girliefriend · 14/06/2015 09:24

I can't believe it's not been picked up more by the media, surely distressing this many people is news worthy?

Its so typical of a Tory government to start harassing single parents it would be laughable if it wasn't so sickeningly true.

girliefriend · 14/06/2015 09:25

Morgan Flowers

babyalan13 · 14/06/2015 09:36

I read somewhere the letters only go to people who are claiming the highest level of tax credits. Bit unfair. There's loads of threads also in netsmums. Am on there to! Morgan your not the only one who payments have stopped poor girl on other thread with 6 wains! They told her to make a joint claim to!

Ouchbloodyouch · 14/06/2015 09:58

Its funny how I got my letter after reporting my DLA award which will push my tax credits up??

emilou123 · 14/06/2015 09:58

I read last night government want to put more onus on companies to pay the living wage and increase work hours for staff so they rely less on tax credits. They are so out of touch with reality, for one you can,t live solely on the living wage unless you,re working all the hours god sends but then your childcare bill would be more horrendous than it is now. For two, most companies have been cutting back, I,ve just had to go through restructuring and in september will be working more hours for less money as a result ( same job). I,m a teaching assistant so paid by state funds. They have absolutely no idea what they are talking about!

babyalan13 · 14/06/2015 10:23

Exactly!!! I can't work more! My 4 wains are prioty! There lucky I work 30 hours! I work for a children center so I no people are cutting back there's no chance I can increase hours! Am lucky I have 30 hours!!!

Morgan97 · 14/06/2015 10:37

Thank you girliefriend for the flowers awwww.baby what are titles of these other threads please. These bloody people don't live in the real world do they? Shame on them

Netmums coffeehouse. Type that into google. I think its bit more confusing than this thread! I prefer this one!! But just go on there and then either put concentrix or tax credits into the search box! Loads comes up! There's loads of women on there to! And in between both threads!! Lol am totally obsessed now! But amazing how many people are effected!

babyalan13 · 14/06/2015 11:39

That's what it looks like!!

LotusLight · 14/06/2015 15:00

It would certainly be possible the C is starting with bigger claims if it's paid on the basis of results under the contract awarded to it by the Coalition Government.

Morgan97 · 14/06/2015 20:49

Thank you baby and lotus,I'm on a mission now to get justice am sooooo angry at being treated like a bloody criminal surely concentrix and tax credits should be sitting outside our houses proving we are guilty not up to us to prove we are innocent

Does anybody on here bank with Halifax? Try the free halifax credit check. It shows who has used your credit report and if there are any other connections or other names. I saw this on another thread. Thought it might be helpful to help with the fight against concentrix

12fedup12 · 15/06/2015 08:06

Just called again to find out if documents have been scanned on to system yet, still not there and told there are delays of 3 weeks processing ans scanning documents onto system, they have my documents sitting in their mail room since 5th ofJune, this is beyond a joke!!!!!! Angry

12fedup12 · 15/06/2015 08:14

This is making me feel ill wondering what they have done with all my information, all my details are correct and match up with my annual renewal. Just feel so stressed out. If they cant cope with what amount of work they have got maybe they should stop sending letters out untill the backlog is cleared it's only going to get bigger and bigger and genuine hardworking people like us are going to get more stressed and made ill by this

nikkif80 · 15/06/2015 08:15

Concentrix confirmed my case closed. Will receive a letter in 10 days. They didn't divulge any deeper or say if it was ok or not . I spoke to hmrc he said renewaL wasn't processed yet but will be processed by 22nd June. They have all my info from concentrix about childcare.
Not sure what happens now no one said of their was overpayment or how much or if penalty but I know they will amend my award one way or another. Will ring tax credits 22nd to see what payments are changing to! As it stands my renewal hasn't been done and payments are still provisional!

12fedup12 · 15/06/2015 08:18

Just not fair nikkif80 can you trying calling concentrix again now and press them for an outcome on your case I was told by one of their advisers that they can tell you before letter arrives so prepare you for any changes x

Kittykat60 · 15/06/2015 08:21

Nikki they gave me info over the phone, I'd ring them back like 12fedup said, tell them you know people who've been told over the phone. Try option 6 Hun.

Wales1709 · 15/06/2015 08:34

I have been following this thread since getting the single person letter on May 14th. Sent all my paperwork special delivery which cost me almost £20 with copies etc. plucked up the courage to ring this morning and got through after 14 mins. Was told my paperwork sent back June 7th and he said a decision letter would be sent today but couldn't tell me what! I am shaking like a leaf as due money week today. I did a credit check and all I could think of was my ex husbands name was still there as a financial connection. Enclosed my decree absolute etc My son is in uni and uses this address but changed his name by deed poll as he wanted to cut all ties with his dad. I was a bit worried as my mum gives me bits of cash now and again to pay my visa for Xmas or if we visit my son in Liverpool uni. I really don't know what to make of this telephone call...

Morgan97 · 15/06/2015 08:45

Wales ring them again and ask to speak to a manager, this sort of behavior from them makes me so angry and this is why I will never ring them its unacceptable to tell people a letter has been/going to be sent out but won't tell you what the decision is. I'm sorry but it's not acceptable who the hell do they think they are playing with our lives like this. I'm on a mission to get my tax and working tax credits back and I will be emailing and ringing anyone in the media who will listen. In the meantime those of you who have send your things off or going to send things off for gods sake keep copies cos you can bet your life they will be asking again!!

OP posts:
Wales1709 · 15/06/2015 08:53

I know it sounds lame but my stomach is in my throat and I doubt I could take another phone call. It's all so menacing. I don't think I have woken up thinking of anything else for a month. Once this is sorted I will be sending a complaint letter. I am just hoping if they needed more info they would have said today. I put everything in poly pockets with my sons birth certificate, deed poll copy etc as it was only him and their father I could think of. Everything is in my name but you just worry about everything! This thread has been amazing and made me feel not so alone x

Morgan97 · 15/06/2015 09:15

Wales if you don't think you can make another call then don't put yourself through it. It's a horrible situation to be in they stopped my money on 26th march then sent me a letter two weeks after to tell me and I've been fighting the fight ever since. I won't ring them cos I don't want them to hear me swear or cry! Yes the support on this thread is amazing although I feel very much alone the thread has kept me sane. Good luck and please let us all know the outcome x

OP posts:
nikkif80 · 15/06/2015 10:01

I get the feeling no one at concentrix or hmrc like to give info or over phone I am fed up of ringing!

nikkif80 · 15/06/2015 10:43

Right I rang back ladies.

My case is closed, no changes as my childcare difference was £9 a week lower so they cannot amend my award cause its less than £10 difference.

Well I thought it was more than that tbh. Hoping now my finalised tax credit award will follow in the post. I have worked out I should be claiming £39 a week for childcare but they are basing it on £52 a week
So I have worried myself sick for 8 weeks!!

I still wont rest till I get my official letter and my finalised award!

I will keep updating and reading and helping any ladies that need advise!

Singlemum123 · 15/06/2015 10:51

I was on hold 25+minutes, again 30+minutes, 6+minutes this morning to Concentrix. Gave up calling .
