OP posts:
Beckyjj · 13/06/2015 16:26

They have asked for all the same things and for the same reason, they think I have another adult living with me. It is the same letter I received before just different dates.

I thought it was going to be the decision letter.

Evilpixie · 13/06/2015 16:33

I've also had a concentrix letter demanding 12 month wage slips and a letter from my employers stating my hours work and details of my mat leave dates and my original co tract of employment!
I too have sent this all off recorded and it has signed for but not scanned yet. I am terrified they are going to take it off me as I also receive the disability element for my son so it's a big chunk of our income x

12fedup12 · 13/06/2015 16:36

Evilpixie when did you post yours and when did they sign for it? They also wanted 12 months payslips, contract, letter off employer confirming working hours, p60 and renewal declaration

Evilpixie · 13/06/2015 16:42

It was signed for on the 9th. So they not had it a week although the letter says 10 wd to process so I'll be calling back on Friday.

12fedup12 · 13/06/2015 16:45

Mine was signed for the 5th and I mentioned the 10 wd mentioned in the letter and was told that is a bit of a grey area at the moment as they are very busy x

Evilpixie · 13/06/2015 16:48

They should stop hassling legitimate people then aye! Wink

12fedup12 · 13/06/2015 16:50

Couldn't agree more and they can see from out NI numbers we work could just verify with our employers how many hours

babyalan13 · 13/06/2015 17:21

Exactly!!! Apparently my employer contacts hmrc every month with all our details so I don't no why there investigating me!! They no I work so what's the problem!! Obviously the _p60 isn't going to lie!! And its all connected! I sent a letter from my employer stating my hours so gawd no's what they will say!!

Kittykat60 · 13/06/2015 18:13

It's totally wrong how they have caused us all this stress and anxiety and hope all you mums get good news very soon. Just keep at them.

Tango78 · 13/06/2015 18:50

That's really good news Kittykat you must be so relieved Smile

nikkif80 · 13/06/2015 19:09

I know mine is going to be bad news but how bad is the question !
I just want to know what my monthly payments will go down to so I can budget.

My poor skint brother and wife today didn't get their tex credit well it was cut by 150£ so now they can't afford to live. It's
So sad to think they will struggle now

emilou123 · 13/06/2015 19:11

Exactly kittykat. Keep at them. With all our hard work, raising children, juggling etc etc we are definitely a stronger and more determined lot, even though we don,t feel like we are most of the time (!) If you do have time write complaint letters to HMRC, mine were on my file at concentrix I discovered today. They have picked on the most vulnerable but certainly the wrong people!

12fedup12 · 13/06/2015 19:17

Oh no nikkif80 why was your brothers cut. Did he get checked aswell x

nikkif80 · 13/06/2015 19:45

No without any warning cut his payment that was due today. Because they earn 118£ over the threshold however they hadn't took of pensions from rti !! Or got their child minder on the form
Either!

nikkif80 · 13/06/2015 19:46

This is the problem if they reduce cut or stop payments they need to send the post before they action payments I think we should get few weeks notice !!

babyalan13 · 13/06/2015 19:50

Exactly!!!! Do these people not realize we have bills coming out! And have to pay for food. What good is a letter 2 weeks after the payments have cut. Really annoys me!!!

emilou123 · 13/06/2015 20:13

They are so wrong. Its such an injustice, how do they expect people to live like this, really sorry to hear that nikkif80.

SaraMullan123 · 13/06/2015 21:30

I too received a letter from concentrix, after I had received a letter from HMRC about renewing my claim. They funny thing is I wrote to HMRC last August to advise them I was no longer entitled to claim as a single person, I had moved, given them my new address, and had used their online calculator to check if I could put a joint claim in. We couldn't and I also put that in the letter.

  1. I have not received a renewal pack.
  2. I cannot get thru to them on the phone - it is virtually impossible! I had no option but to write to them.
  3. I have ill health (both physical and mental) and have just spent the last 4 days with the crisis response home mental health team, they will visit me again tomorrow.
I certainly did not need this grief when I am trying too just about keep my head above water with my health. I've sent what bank statements I could find and a copy of our tendency agreement. Will let you know how much of an overpayment I will have to pay back. The problem is the payments going into my account just showed my name, not HMRC and I didn't pay much attention to them. I reckon it could be around £5k.
nikkif80 · 13/06/2015 21:37

I don't know the process for ending a claim what happened but i know they will let you pay that back over years.

Scousejo1967 · 13/06/2015 22:02

Sara did you send the letter recorded delivery ?

dribblebucket · 13/06/2015 22:37

Hi group, just reading these threads is so horribly distressing. everyone that has joined this thread are fortunate that they've found each other and have the support from others that are going through/or been through this rubbish and can can stick together, so I cant imagine what others are going through that haven't found this! Don't give up! its a stupid system and they are targeting innocent, vulnerable people (vulnerable as in easy targets!). So much for family, bloody values!!!!! Don't give up ladies x

dribblebucket · 13/06/2015 22:46

SaraMullan123 don't give up luv, you can only give them what you've got. My advise would be go to CAB or anything to support you. I didn't call them because I didn't have the strength. good luck hun x

SaraMullan123 · 13/06/2015 22:51

Nope didnt send it recorded and to make matters worse, I sent it to an address in Liverpool. My head was and is still all over the place. I think I'll learn a lesson - send everything recorded.

SaraMullan123 · 13/06/2015 22:55

I've been with the crisis response mental health team all week. I'm now on diazepam, sertraline and zopiclone. My arthritis meds include methotrexate and folic acid, and I take Ramipril for hypertension.........not that I'm blaming the letter, it was just the straw that broke the camel's back.

Kittykat60 · 14/06/2015 00:44

More and more ladies joking the thread, it's disgraceful, many with anxiety and depression made worse with all this on going stress. I was sat wondering how long is this to go on ,, and for the ones with a positive outcome how long do we wait for the next one,,, I've written a letter of complaint and told them the level of their distress will they care?, probably not but if we all make a complaint it's got to stand for something.
Yes tango, over the moon you d think id won the bloody lottery, just waiting to see everyone's outcomes now. Fingers crossed for you all.
