Alway get pressies both days, was worse when I was a kid but dh more than makes up for it now. The good thing is you can alway get a table at any restaurant you like, downside in years gone by going to pubs and clubs were non events at that time of year.

i'll confess to something then!

When we went Maldives for our honeymoon, we got stopped at customs because we had a pair of furry handcuffs in our suitcase, which they confiscated as it was deemed pornographic material!

On our way back to London I queued up to ask for it back! And they did!

Dh pouring me a glass of wine, not really seen him for two days because of working N/S. Going for now and not running away because of the subject matter........honest, will spill some beans another night, respectable married lady here.

Morning all !

You ladies don't half chat at night !! I was glued to Spooks whilst the slumber party was going on !! Sounds like you have a good but evening

I did another PG test today - if I was looking for a BFP, I'd have squinted it, held it up to the light, pulled the test apart and found a faint line but I think, for my purposes, it is a BFN I am actually pleased to see ! So, happy it is over, and hoping that my hormones will now start settling down, but sad aswell as it feels very final

Here's to TTC'ing at Christmas (she says with a glass of fresh grapefruit juice in her hand !)

Jools - good news re: your hormones settling back, get downing that grapefruit juice!

VM - missing reading your eloquent posts but yay! that real life (and ttc) are taking over - my fingers, toes and everything are crossed for you x

barbie - hope your Dad is on the road to recovery and AF is finally putting in an appearance, you have really had it all flung at you this year and you still keep your sense of humour (those Ann summers stories - much respect! Not long now 'til your DH comes home - its what Christmas is all about, snuggling up with family.

Vjay - DH is massive Star Wars fan and still rues he day he gave away his Millenium Falcon "it would be worth £££ by now..." He can't wait for DS to get into it all - groan!

MM - how are you today?

We had a lovely weekend down in Ashton (near Manchester) but my cold morphed into a chest infection so have been in bed coughing for Scotland and am now on antibiotics which Dr assured me are fine to take during pg.

I've spent today painting ds's room, I'm just doing the 2nd coat now, I want to get it finished asap so I can get him back in there.

hello girls, back from the gym and tired....
No af still, more just brown discharge as the previous months however this has lasted for a few more days and slightly more so im counting it as af...maybe ill always just be a light spotter!
vm im gutted glad you have found real life, dont forget us though will you, i need to send you hugs when you get your bfp!

Hello everyone else, thanks for last night girls, i went to bed giggling

Well dad is out of hospital, turns out her might have a blood condition which caused his blood to thicken and clot he is on meds for 6 months and the has to under go more test to see what caused it, if its what they think it is my sister and i could also have it, so we have to be tested too. Im more at risk as i have had a major chest infection/ clot which saw me in hospital for a few days 3 years back
Another thing to consider too was the consultant told my mum if i do have it, it might of caused my mc! so im going to book into have my test asap...not so urgent to ttc until i get the results.....Im not worried though before you all worry about me, especially mm Im actually fine, and in a good mood! dh will be home this time next week, my af is kind of here, my sister is finally happy and is laughing again and my dad is out of hospital, so all is good.....

hi barbie, ask your doctor for a coagulation blood test, it checks if your blood is clotting as it should, i had this done a few weeks ago because I asked about taking baby aspirin during any next pregnancy. The doc said she would do that test first, and my blood is fine so no need to take the aspirin, but it's a simple test, and there's no harm in asking.
Glad your dad is out of hospital
As for decorating, we are converting our garage soon so there's going to be loads to do...boo hoo.

Evening ladies,

Quick one tonight, trying to relax before my appointment tomorrow so only on quickly while dh is in the shower.

barbie everything is starting to fall into place and with dh back next week everything will just seem so much easier. Defo get the blood tests done, I had them after my second mc and they were all clear although I am pretty sure they will be repeated by the obstetrician. Good to hear you sounding so upbeat.

vjay sounds like you will be busy converting the garage, we are thinking about doing ours but lets just say it's on the list atm.

vm do go too far hun, I will miss our chats sooooo much. I understand rl takes over but I feel like I am losing a friend. Take care and keep in touch when you get the chance.

mollie been meaning to post, I'll be holding your hand tightly tomorrow. Hope you are good hun.

jools good to hear the hormones are finally settling down, you will be relieved to know your body is getting back to normal.

Well ladies mm has officially lost her marbles. I was asking dh what time he was getting away from work for the hospital when he lets me know that last night was Tue, got my days totally mixed up....doh, the joys of shift work. So my appointment is not till tomorrow. Barbie I think I will get you to keep track for me as I obviously can't be trusted, wondered why I was so calm last night. Think I should start counting sleeps like I do for dd.
New Year resolution buy a calender .

Barbie Glad to hear your Dad is out of hospital although not out of the woods yet, would definately wait for test results before TTC as it's something that could be easily resolved with aspirin so you don't m/c again if this is a problem with you (although that's only my personal opinion )
Sabs Glad to hear visa has come through, really hope your Nan gets lots better soon
