Morning All,

I have some news. 11 weeks and 6 days after my mc I got a BFP yesterday morning on DH's birthday.

DH was then called into work but I still went to Glasgow to be alone with my thoughts.

I've woken up this morning refusing to be paralysed with fear about it going wrong, we have another chance, (whispers) I'm having a baby!

Can I request a group hug? xxxx

bluesatinsash · 22/11/2008 09:10

I'm worried that I have worded my post OK. I'm so acutely aware of everyone's feelings and don't want to come across as me, me me.

This thread is a godsend and I can't thank you enough for letting me be a part of it.

Hello everyone!

Just to say CONGRATULATIONS to bluesatinsash - a HUGE village hug coming your way from Oxfordshire! Wishing you joy, calm, serenity and the start of a wonderful new journey! xxx

mm, thinking of you at the time of your baby's anniversary. Hope you are feeling OK my dear.

barbie, I'm sure jools will be back so don't fret... glad you're getting that scan on Thursday; I'll be thinking of you when I have mine.

RL is taking over a bit - but I'm not going very far. You are all in my thoughts. x

Jools1 · 22/11/2008 14:23

Barbie - you could tell me the sky was blue and I'd be in floods of tears at the moment

I'd spent most of the evening on the computer - typing, reading and crying, so DP decided enough was enough and took me off to bed. Sorry if my sudden disappearance caused any issues

I have resolved to keep myself busier and stop moping on the sofa, so I've been in the gym all morning, then Argos to buy a new TV (ours is broken), Sainsburys shop, and now I've got ten minutes before I go out to have my hair cut.

I still can't stop crying, but I can get through it if I don't stop

Jools1 · 22/11/2008 14:25

Oh, and congratulations (massive ones) to BlueSatinSash - it is lovely to hear some really happy news on this thread

VJay · 22/11/2008 14:36

jools you've just got to let it all out. After my 1st mc I tried to hold it all in and get back to normal asap, but it took ages, whereas this time I've let myself cry and let it all out when I needed to and I've bounced back a lot quicker this time. Just take each day as it comes too. Enjoy your haircut and a bit of pampering xxx
