Hi ladies! Our last thread was automatically closed (again) because we reached the 1,000 post limit (twice!). I was hoping we would be able to start a new thread called First Pregnancy Post-MMC, but unfortunately we are not all quite there yet (BUT some of us are!! congrats!!!). I know we will all be pregnant someday soon and that this will end up being a lucky thread! In the meantime, I hope you will all join me as we continue on this journey together. You have all been an invaluable source of inspiration, support, and kindness for me and I want to thank you for making me feel less alone in this. This thread and the ladies on it have been a source of inspiration for me, which is why I created this blog to help other women find information and support after miscarriage: mcandbeyond.weebly.com/

About me, for any newcomers: 31 years old, first pregnancy ended in an MMC in February at 12 weeks (baby passed at nine), D&C the next day, found out five weeks later that it was a partial molar pregnancy and had follow-up with CX hospital until mid-May. Second early MC in April (we weren't supposed to be getting pregnant because of the molar, but didn't know about it at the time). Now TTC again nearly four months after the first MMC and so so ready for a baby!

Thanks @Kiki061190 ❤️❤️❤️

Good luck with the move as well, hope it goes well and don't forget a cheeky toast once you're finished! You and your mum will deserve this after all the hard work xxx

OMG ladies. I'm not going to post it but I just got a faint positive on a cheapy test at 10 dpo. They're the not so sensitive ones so I'm not too bothered about it being faint. Am rather impressed there's a line there so early. I'm not sure why I did it to be honest. Just had the urge to POAS. I'm now shaking and trying to keep calm. I've had a stressful morning with one thing or another and wish I'd just believed it could just happen. I'm hoping this one sticks. I'll test tomorrow with a FRER. XX

MrsMGE · 02/08/2019 15:22

@Catconfusion OMG!!! 💕💕💕 YES! So happy for you! Kepping everything crossed for you & the little bean!!!

MrsMGE · 02/08/2019 15:24

SunStruck · 02/08/2019 15:25

Sabinaax · 02/08/2019 15:32

Hello everyone! I would like some help. I am 26 and have had my first miscarriage. I am starting to pass some stringy like clots or tissue?? I have no idea what to do or if whats happening to me is normal. Pls help! TIA x

Catconfusion · 02/08/2019 15:40

Thank you so much ladies. The test I used was 20 hcg so not super sensitive so at 10 dpo and a midday wee after not much of a hold I’m happy with that. Xx

@Sabinaax I’m so sorry you are going through this. See a doctor or call your EPAU for some advice. I’ve not had a natural mc so I’m not sure. You will get through this and you have us laddies to support you. Xx

zoomies1 · 02/08/2019 16:03

@Catconfusion, congratulations!! Really chuffed for you. You must be absolutely thrilled.

Catconfusion · 02/08/2019 16:43

Thanks @zoomies1 I am thrilled but shocked and can’t quite believe it. Still a long journey ahead but that’s if I get beyond these difficult early days. For now I’m happy yet cautious. I may well have looked at the due date and it’s DHs Dads birthday. He died when DH was 12. Im hoping it’s a lucky omen. Maybe my friend ending our friendship was to make way for something new and exciting, a baby! Xx

Kiki061190 · 02/08/2019 17:21

@Catconfusion YES YES YES!!!! So much love for this and you deserve this so much ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Kiki061190 · 02/08/2019 17:22

@MrsMGE are you psychic? 😂 tell me when I’m getting my BFP!

Catconfusion · 02/08/2019 17:54

@Kiki061190 thank you so much. I just did some early pregnancy yoga to calm down. I'm so excited yet scared. xx

I found this You tube channel and it's really good for all stages of ttc after loss. www.youtube.com/channel/UCwFzZN7U8VhmochUCOEKWiA

MrsMGE · 02/08/2019 18:17

@Kiki061190 Haha, I don't know, I often have those funny feelings! I reckon September will be your month and October mine. Watch this, I'm probably completely wrong and we'll both share the news at a completely different time 😂

Awww I'm happy to be fully happy again to hear about someone's pregnancy too ❤️ Literally, no sadness in me - another sign of moving forward. I now look feel these baby announcements are like "our" babies cause we're following each other stories ❤️ That's so cute. I'm happy to have found you ladies. You've been such a tower of strength throughout this journey and helped me so much. I actually can't believe I'm on such a good place again so quickly ❤️ Your friends in real life are lucky to have you ❤️ xxx

Catconfusion · 02/08/2019 18:33

Arh @MrsMGE that’s lovely. One of the reasons I didn’t post a picture is I didn’t want to trigger anyone. Felt I should tell you all and read the group from there. Obviously very early days but I’m glad you’re feeling better about other pregnancies. It will happen for all the ladies on here and I hope it’s soon with no more losses. We’ve all been through enough. I’m also extremely grateful for this group so thank you so much @sadtoday21 for starting it! Xx

bananamonkey · 02/08/2019 19:21

That’s amazing @Catconfusion you so deserve it, I’m glad you’re feeling excited Flowers

Catconfusion · 02/08/2019 19:30

Thank you so much @banamonkey but I’ll test over the next few days to make sure. Still doesn’t feel real. I’m getting lots of symptoms so hopefully it’s a keeper! Xx

sadtoday21 · 02/08/2019 22:19

Just wanted to say congrats again @Catconfusion!! You’ve waited so long for this and I’m so happy your time has finally come. If you ever need to talk about the anxiety, I’m here for you. Xxx

I am also really glad we found this wonderful group of ladies who are so caring and supportive of each other. You are next @bananamonkey @Kiki061190 @MrsMGE @SunStruck @AnnaMC214 and everyone else still waiting. It’s all luck and you’re time is coming!! Hoping for more good news soon ❤️

Thank you @sadtoday21 at the moment I’m feeling good but I’m sure I will be talking to you about anxiety at some point. I woke up to a much stronger line today so feeling much more confident it’s progressing. The sample was again diluted as I’m drinking so much water. The nausea is a little worse. I’m so sensitive to hcg. I did have a decaf coffee as I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be able to drink it. Just counting down the days until my ultrasound on Wednesday. I don’t think I’ll test again as I’m happy with the line today as confirmation I’m pregnant. I really hope this will start a string of good luck on this thread! Xx

MrsMGE · 03/08/2019 13:31

Thank you @sadtoday21 ❤️ How are you feeling? I can tell from your posts you're anxious, and I imagine I'll be the same as you, i.e. scans will only help me for a day, if that. I don't plan on having them at all up until the first NHS scan for that reason. How are you coping lovely?

sadtoday21 · 03/08/2019 15:32

Thanks @MrsMGE for asking after me! You are right, the anxiety is tough after what we have all been through and the scans don't really help for more than a day. That being said, what bothered me most about the mmc was that the baby had passed for four weeks without me knowing. I don't want to go that long with false hope again. I admire you for being able to wait until the 12 week scan! But I guess you are right, it is hard either way.

Plus, they need to monitor me because of the previous molar anyway, so I'm getting a few early scans as a result. I am 8 weeks today and my next scan is this coming Friday afternoon, when I would be nearly 9 weeks if baby makes it. Still no morning sickness :/ = more constant worry for me. I'm just trying not to think about it as much as possible and scan every two weeks.

MrsMGE · 03/08/2019 16:21

@sadtoday21 I can imagine. There's not much I can say to make this anxiety go away and that's very annoying. But I wouldn't worry about the lack of nausea, lots of women I know haven't had it at all throughout their pregnancies and were totally fine. I think you can only look at it this way - there are statistics, and in reality they are just numbers. You don't know which group you are in and all you can do is look after yourself. Literally, everything else is beyond your control and you can only focus on each day rather than think ahead about the next few weeks or months because this is when it starts to feel overwhelming. It's not easy though, I feel for you. Wish someone could give us a guarantee that everything is going to be OK xx

Kiki061190 · 03/08/2019 17:18

@sadtoday21 it’s normal to be anxious! I feel like your first trimester is passing so quickly!

I think AF should be en route the next couple of days! Crampy, headache and shattered!

MrsMGE · 03/08/2019 17:40

Before I log out on holiday, stupid question...has any of you felt any different during ovulation? I've never felt any difference, but I now have some kind of pain (although not strong at all), it just feels like my ovaries are working hard, perhaps releasing something? Am I going mad/making things up? I think it's too early for my O as well because my cycle used to be longer, but having said that after the MM C and acupuncture things may have changed and maybe I am O bang on day 14 (which would be today)?!
