bumble great news!! Grin Grin Grin

freckle that sounds awful. Glad the gp took you seriously and hope you get some answers on Wednesday.

Sasha sorry AF got you Thanks .

monten glad work wasn't too bad, just 4 more days...

cloud brilliant!! Grin

girlie finger crossed for an earlier appointment that you think!

Thinking of you for Thursday Minnie. Who else is up this week?

emerald apparently Harry Judd is on the front of the latest OK magazine talking about their struggle to conceive the baby they are now 'blessed to be carrying'. They had a mc last year and conceived with ivf. I like this balance at the moment of all these celebrities being honest about the story behind their bumps.

mrsc there was no emotional reunion at the airport, his mate left his car there so no point me driving over for the sake of it, I went out on my bike with a mate and cycled in a sportive - 91km, then came home to find him unpacking into the washing machine Grin .

Went to the clinic this morning (the new, private one) where she weighed me and said my BMI was too low - I'm under 19 when I usually scrape into it, but I reckon it's the stress of the last 4 weeks.
Also had a scan to look at antral follicle count and a blood test to look at amh. Will discuss results when we get our consultant appointment. Next available is October Sad .

Barking oh really? I'll look forward to reading about Harry Judd then, makes a change from all those who 'just got pg the first time' no problems etc.!
Don't shatter our illusion of the airport reunion! Bet it's nice he's back though. Good you've got things rolling with the private clinic but shame you've got to wait till October for it. Still it's nearly September now.

MrsConfusion · 17/08/2015 23:25

bumble, cloud great scans, well done!

freckle really glad you're seeing the doc you want on weds and are being listened to. I had a phase of awful pain, random not even period pain, when I was younger and they scanned to check all was ok. It stopped in the end (I still wonder if it was stress related).

barking loading the washing machine can be romantic in its own way Wink. I'm so glad he's home. Well done team barking for moving ahead already on private clinic! Hope October zooms round for you.

emerald it's ok to feel Envy. Everyone in our NCT group has or is far along with #2 except the couple who had twins first time. It hurts, and it's ok that it hurts - you can feel Sad for yourself without wishing them ill.

monten well done for getting through today. One step done.
sasha hugs. Keep the faith lovely and do whatever you need to get through.

Thinking of everyone with scans this week - flen? March? Minnie? I'm sure I've forgotten others, sorry (can't move back on my phone). I'm on Friday. Desperately finding my loosest tops for work as this year of MCs has destroyed any tummy tone I had (not a lotBlush) and added a nice big layer of fat so I'm already showing enough at 12 weeks for our (single, male, middle aged) neighbour to ask over the fence if I'm pregnant Shock. I am holding off telling work for as long as possible, still afraid to jinx things...

BumbleBee0 · 18/08/2015 06:55

Good luck and hand holding for your scan march! Anyone else up today?

mrsC Shock at your neighbour!

emerald no you shouldn't really ttc before coventry as you need to not be pg when having the biopsy (but it would be too early to test to check)

barking so pleased your DH is home now and then it's holiday tonight, yey!!! Hope you find the private clinic a different and positive experience to the previous one. It's a shame there is no app until October but hopefully as we're nearly in sep it won't seem too far away.

Marchgirl · 18/08/2015 07:35

Gosh. Busy day yesterday.
cloud, brilliant scan news, and so pleased you can have whatever birth you want.

freckle, glad the gp is taking you seriously and that they are going to have a proper look at what's going on. How they get to the bottom of it soon xx

monten, glad work went ok and absolutely don't worry about a cheeky cigarette or two. You deserve a bit of a break from being a good girl. I'm quite sure when it's time to stop again you will do exactly that. In the meantime enjoy it if it helps

barking, glad you've got your dh back with you now (even if the first moments weren't quite mills and boon!) And glad you've got the ball rolling with your next plan. October will fly in and it will give you some time to recover from the stress of the last few months. Keeping everything crossed that this is your time xx

emerald, glad you've got a date for your hsg. Re coventry (and for kazz too), you definitely need to not be pg for the scratch, as it could cause mc, so at least the month you are going, you need to use precautions. It is a total pain in the arse to have to wait, but hopefully worth it. kazz, i initially spoke to kerri immediately after my chemical, but i think she'd forgotten by the time it came to make the actual appt. They won't have your medical notes so it's just what you tell them. I was actually exactly 2 months to the day since the mc when i went (but not 2 cycles, due to long cycles), and there was some ambiguity over whether you had to be 2 months clear or two cycles clear. I was intending to play the dummy but actually i just told the truth in the consult (not a good liar!) and there didn't seem to be an issue.

Minnie, good luck for Thursday, hope the cramping is just a bit of stretching, and mrsc, good luck for Friday. flen, have you got one this week too? Mine is at 9:50 and scanxiety is really kicking in now.

Flen · 18/08/2015 07:50

march hope it goes well today, mine is tomorrow afternoon and my scanxiety is kicking in too! Keeping my fingers crossed for you. I've got the midwife booking in appointment today, feels scary and jinxy.

Marchgirl · 18/08/2015 07:54

Good luck for both flen. Just remember. Telling a mw your history in minute detail is not going to cause a mc (but i know exactly what you mean)

bythesea82 · 18/08/2015 07:54

Just a quick one to say march good luck today. Back later to post properly .....

Sunandrainbow · 18/08/2015 07:59

cloud - awesome news on the scan lovely!

march - keeping everything crossed for you this morning. Glad it's early so you don't have to wait too long.

freckle - good work getting an appointment for weds. Hopefully will be just one of those random things, but sounds like they will be proactive in referring you if they have any concerns. Chin up lovely - you are definitely not broken, just having a really shitty time of it at the mo. Hugs hun.

sasha - grrrr so sorry AF got you, but as others have said it will happen for you hun. My third mc took 5 month to conceive despite the others being pretty much wham, bam, done.

monten - glad you survived first day back. I always find the height of going back worse than reality, hope is same for you.

barking - I don't think my dh knows what the big white machine in the corner of the kitchen is! You've got a cracker there if he is unloading his bags into it!!! Well done you for cracking on with the private appt too.

minnie - I'm up Thursday too for scan but not till mid afternoon so will be cacking myself all morning. Really feeling the fear now, but just trying to get though the days till Thursday.

Hugs to all.

X

Sunandrainbow · 18/08/2015 08:40

flen - good luck for tomorrow too lovely. x

girliesaints · 18/08/2015 08:51

Thanks again everyone for your lovliness over the past couple of days. Very much appreciated, have read your comments over and over! xxx

Lots of scans this week eh? March, Minnie, Flen and someone else...sun? GOODLUCK LADIES! When is the next thread baby? I could use some baby dust inspiration!

MrsConfusion · 18/08/2015 09:22

march sending big scan hugs to you this morning lovely lady x

Justonemoretime · 18/08/2015 09:30

Sahsa, did your AF develop? No chance it was an ib? Hugs to you. One of the things dh and I did was walk up to this en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cerne_Abbas_Giant on a day out, just in case it worked! Wink Wink
Good luck for all the scan ladies this week!
Freckle hope you get some answers on Wednesday. x

Monten · 18/08/2015 09:52

Morning ladies, thanks for not slaying me about the cigs Blush. I am going to just let myself do what I want over the holidays and then knock it on the head when I’m back.

Good luck today march, will be thinking of you at 9.50am.

Lovely to hear from you barking, so glad DH is home and almost holidays! So have you decided to go down private route? Sorry am not up to speed. October will fly in, and as others have said, some rest and recuperation is possibly no bad thing – I know how very easy it is to say that and so hard it is to do – it seems like this journey is just one long interminable wait for a bus, punctuated by being kicked in the shins, with no idea if or when it will ever turn up. I hate it Flowers.

sasha Barnes is very lovely, we should organise a London meet up sometime? I’m sure there are others in London. Loving the swearing. Fucking, cunty fuck face bollocks fucktard. It’s just crap. Last year, after MC 2 when I should have been 20 weeks I went on holiday with a friend and his new wife (who I’d never met) who was ………20 weeks. It was really shit. But also okay in the end. Sorry your DH got a bit frustrated with you, mine does too sometimes. He can’t understand the jealousy over other women thing, not at all. He thinks it’s a really unpleasant way to be. Which obviously helps a lot. I’m sorry your cycles seem screwy. Remind me, who prescribed the Clomid and why?

emerald it’s so hard seeing other people have their babies. I work in an office of 250 people, 70% of whom are female and I dread spotting a tell tale bump. I’ve seen women grow their bumps, go on mat leave and then return, while I am still here. I feel like they are all moving on with their lives and I’m stuck at ‘do not pass go’. It’s really hard – don’t beat yourself up. As someone else said, you can be Sad for you without wishing them ill.

girlie do you mind me asking if your hysteroscopy is on the NHS? If so, how did you get them to agree to do one? Before this last MC I was desperate to have one as I was really worried about light periods but they point blank refused.

girliesaints · 18/08/2015 11:01

Monten, yes it is on the nhs and to be honest I think they're only doing it because they've tested everything else and scanned my ovaries and not found a cause. I've also found I've had better "care" since I did the response trial and going onto a anxiety trial for my next pregnancy. Really wish I still had pmi so I didn't have to rely on the nhs.

Marchgirl · 18/08/2015 12:11

Scan was ok. Hb was good and measuring bang on 9weeks, but the haematoma has increased in size a bit, so that's worrying as it's obv still active. She has booked me another scan for next Tuesday so that's settled that one, as she said 3 weeks was too long with the haematoma there. Not feeling entirely reassured if I'm honest, as the haematoma looked huge on the screen (although actually less than 2cm)

Marchgirl · 18/08/2015 12:49

Thanks sasha. Actually the sonographer wasn't too worried as she says they see it all lot, it was the consultant that was worried! I think the haematoma is right under where the placenta is, and the fact it is growing is the concern. If it comes away rather than being absorbed then it could wash away the pregnancy. I think this happened to erica with her last one. But no bleeding yet so that's good. Just wish it would bugger off!

Sorry to hear you got upset with your boss. I really hope she was sympathetic to your situation. Sometimes it all just gets too much, doesn't it? Remember your hormones will be crashing too if af has started. Hopefully in a few days it will start to feel like a fresh start for this month but this bit in the middle is just shit. Xx

sebsmummy1 · 18/08/2015 12:50

March fab new on the heartbeat and correct growth, totally understand your worries re. haematoma.

I have a 5/6cm fibroid that always causes lots of consternation with the Sonographers. They were convinced it would burst during my son's labour and made it so fucking painful in the event this happened. Nothing happened! Totally normal unnecessarily excruciating VBAC. Fibroid is still there, same place, same size, and once again there is hand wringing all round.

I just can't get that excited about it this time round, too many other things to stress about in my head. Really hope it gives you no trouble and disappears all by itself xx

Monten · 18/08/2015 12:55

march that's brilliant. Was refreshing constantly, did the site go down again??

Will be back on properly later

girliesaints · 18/08/2015 12:57

Glad to hear it was good news March. Wishing the haematoma buggers off!

cloudjumper · 18/08/2015 13:16

Great news march And it's good that they are keeping an eye on you. Hope the haematoma buggers off soon.

sebs I also have a massive fibroid (10cm), which astonishes the sonographers every time (although funnily enough, it didn't get mentioned in the scan at all yesterday, which is a first!). They found it when I was pg with DS, but no one was concerned. The private consultant I saw earlier this year got me to have an MRI to check whether it might contribute to my rmcs, but again, nothing was found. They are very common, most women have one or more and will never know about it.

shasha In spite of everything, I hope you'll manage to have a nice holiday! Do any of your friends you're going with know about your mcs? You might be surprised that most likely, at least some of them will also have experienced it... I always find that whenever I mention it to someone, so often I get 'I've had one/two/three etc, too'.

barking October isn't that far away! Did you book an appointment?
