Big hugs Freckle feel the fear and do it anyway is my motto.

Barking hope your Dad is doing ok

Kazz2112 · 18/06/2015 23:13

Tell me about it Barking! And to add to that ibe had DH analysing and analysing over and over his different theories as to why he thinks his best mate is about to drop the baby bomb! As if dealing with random colleagues saying insensitive stuff wasn't bad enough!

Men really truly don't get it sometimes! Sad Of course I would be happy for them but at the same time I'll be absolutely devastated if he's right!

AnnieHoo · 18/06/2015 23:59

Tanny how are you feeling? Have you been to the docs yet?

Lovemylittlebear · 19/06/2015 08:23

Hey Tanny, I know an absolutely amazing psychologist that specialises in PND and anxiety. She works through Skype, is lovely and I found it really helpful when I was struggling when my LO was born. Let me know if you want me to send you her details.

Good luck Sebs x

hey sasha - did Dr S or the Lister tell you when to stop taking the aspirin? I'm taking it as Lister said wouldn't do any harm, but they haven't said when to stop and where quite vague when I emailed them - just said to check with mw???

Good luck today sebs and onestep.

Seeing Dr Thum - really liked him as his approach was very logical (which is kind of my thing). Am on steroids for high nk, progesterone and aspirin. Definitely not counting any chickens but am further in this pg (11 weeks today), than in the previous 4, where the baby never grew past 7 weeks. Just keeping fingers crossed that it continues.... x

Oh that's annoying that the steroids wouldn't work for you sasha. I was lucky as had the option of either steroids or IVIG, so cost wise wasn't a contest which I went for.

sebsmummy1 · 19/06/2015 10:51

Hi girls, thank you for the well wishes.

Well it was a very weird scan to be honest. We went from thinking there was a sac with nothing in it, to then questioning my LMP and gestation to seeing a heart beat and declaring things were on track. I am not in the slightest bit convinced as the senior sonographer's demeanour was just very very cautious.

I need to google the measurements. But the baby was measuring 3.9mm and she said anything under 4mm wasn't measured in weeks by the software. I should be 5.3 or 5.4 weeks. She said 'oh that sounds about right then' but then a few seconds later asked if if had any spotting? Confused

My gut instinct is she doesn't think it's viable but they are carrying on regardless and I'm booked to see my consultant next Fri and I'm having a scan then.

I honestly really really hate this so much Sad

Sunandrainbow · 19/06/2015 11:04

Hey sebs - I had my first scan at 7 weeks per LMP and baby measured 5.5mm which they said suggested it was 6+1, so 4mm at 5+3/4 sounds about right?? Also seeing a hb this early sounds positive??

Sorry it's all so confusing. The early weeks are so horrid. Don't give up hope though lovely. We are all here for you. x

Marchgirl · 19/06/2015 11:32

I think seeing the hb at 5.3 is very positive sebs. Maybe she saw a little haematoma or something which she thought might have been the cause of the spotting, or maybe she was just reacting to your nervousness and the fact that you were having an early scan. Either way, I wouldn't take her question about spotting as a bad sign. First milestone reached Smile

Hi all, can I come in please? I've lost 4 pregnancies since July 2012 and deciding if I can do this again. I'm 44 and know I have more useless eggs than good, can't quite bring myself to not try anymore yet though.
Thinking of seeing Dr. Quenby in July, 2 cycles after latest MC.I have no DC, DP has a teen DD.
