onestep sorry your bloods aren't more helpful. Still seems very early to have a clear picture. Hugs x

Tanny love!y Tanny, I am sorry you are having such a rough time. Completely agree with everything else that has been said. Try to be as kind to yourself as you would be to someone else in your shoes. If there was something wrong with your lady bits after giving birth no-one would question the validity of your symptoms or pain. It's no different when it's your mind. I know you know this. I hope you have a good GP, and please please talk to us on here. The effects of RMC don't end with the successful birth of a baby, I am sure, and we want to be able to support you through this too xxxxx

As for the menfolk well I have had a massive row with dp today and he's not even here - away for a few days. I feel pretty sick and exhausted and am not complaining about that but delightful DS is being an out of control horror today. I adore every hair on his head but today has not been easy. That's not what the row was about at all, but suffice to say I'm glad dp is not here.

OneStep2015 · 17/06/2015 18:25

Mrsdiddlydoo can I ask, did Coventry prescribe you the steroids too?

Congratulations Cheesy!

bootles · 17/06/2015 18:30

Forgot to say - on pred prog and heparin

cloud I have scan on 29th too - wow you are 12 weeks!

Progesterone I think I was meant to reduce from 12 weeks.

flen hello, how are you doing these days?

flower sorry for temo drop but massive luck for ivf!

Already losing the thread of the thread here..

Marchgirl · 17/06/2015 18:31

Have you just begun the tww flen? Good luck if so. Fingers and toes crossed xx

Sunandrainbow · 17/06/2015 18:32

Right - finally managed to escape work and have time to update stats - thanks bythesea for starting the new thread.

Me 38, dh 37
Ttc #1 since Jan 14
4 miscarriages since April 2014, 3 of which were mmc with the fetus dying at or before 7 weeks. Had erpcs for all three, the first one after an incomplete natural. 4th mc was in April this year and was very early natural 5+3.

Got pg again straight away and now 10+5. Despite a slow start (measuring a week behind at 6 week scan) baby has caught up and things are looking cautiously optimistic. Trying to start engaging and believing this is real, but can't shake the nagging dread that it's about to all go wrong again.

On pred (for high nk), progesterone and aspirin.

bakingtins · 17/06/2015 18:33

Marking place - I'm so behind, but wanted to say a massive CONGRATULATIONS to cat and send a (((hug))) to tanny
You've been so focussed for so long on just making it through a pregnancy, but life isn't all roses when the baby is finally here. It's not a time to make any big decisions about relationships. hang in there and hope your GP is sympathetic and helpful.

Brummiegirl15 · 17/06/2015 18:33

Right can do my stats now

Me 38, DP 46 in 2 weeks!!! TTC#1
3 mc's
1st mc, May 14 @ 5 weeks

2nd mc, August 14 @ 9 weeks, had ERPC and tissue tested normal

3rd mc, mmc January 2015 @ 9 weeks after seeing a heartbeat at. 7 weeks. Got to scan at 9 weeks and found baby had died and had another ERPC. Had been taking aspirin for the pregnancy

Had forced 4 month break for all tests which were normal and went to Coventry plus had hysteroscopy through my consultant at Worcestershire Royal Hospital and all was clear with no scarring

Now am 7 weeks pregnant today and really feeling the fear. Had a scan at 6 wks 2 days and saw a heartbeat but nervous about what has happened previously. Am on 400mg progesterone twice daily until 12 wks and clexane throughout pregnancy.

Will also need a cervical scan as potentially may need a stitch in my cervix

Feeling the fear but incredibly grateful to the unwavering and incredible support on this thread. We are all in this together - before, during and after - definitely after Tanny big hugs to you xx

Justonemoretime · 17/06/2015 18:33

Tanny, hugs. I hope your GP is helpful. Hopefully you'll feel like you're turning a corner soon. Xx
Onestep sorry that your bloods aren't more hopeful.
Bythesea, thanks for the new thread!
Waves to everyone!

Minnie74 · 17/06/2015 18:49

Thanks for the thread bythesea and march

So me 40 Dh 42
Mc1 6 weeks dec 2010
Ds born dec 2011
Mc2 6 weeks aug 2014
Mc3 11+4 weeks mar 2015 saw hb at 7 and 10 weeks. abnormal development after testing.
Been to Cov and had all other rmc tests. All perfectly normal. Will follow Cov protocol if I get pg again.

Currently 11 dpo testing negative but still no sign of af. Cramps have stopped and have felt sick for the last three days. Trying not to get my hopes up for them to be dashed on Sat when I predict af will start!

tanny just to reiterate what everyone else has already said- you are most definitely not a failure. You are so brilliant at supporting everyone here and we all want to support you too. It's a hard enough time anyway without the very hard journey and the fear you've felt over the last few years. So glad you're seeing your GP and keep talking. We're really all in it together on here- for the good and the bad xxx

flen good luck for the tww. Fingers crossed for you!

onestep sorry you've not had better news today. Thinking of you tomorrow.

floweroct thinking of you xx

cloud Erica sun not long to go now and then hopefully you can all take a breath and relax a little.

Flen · 17/06/2015 18:51

Hello bootles and march, yes, just entering tww, think ov was on Sunday/Monday. Doing ok in the main, don't know if I've entered a time of strong denial (!!) or whether I'm dealing with things a bit better. Feel a bit disconnected from ttc which feels kind of weird.

Boozle80 · 17/06/2015 19:11

Marking my place!

NotSpartacus · 17/06/2015 19:54

Grin MrsD -how lovely to hear a heartbeat! Pleased for you.

girliesaints · 17/06/2015 20:02

Wow another thread already......

Here goes, me & Dh 37. One dd Jan 11, first month trying and so naive

Ttc since Jan 14, MC's Feb 14 (cmc) May 14 (9wks, measured 6wks) Sept 14 (11wks, hb seen at 6wks) and May 15 (twins at 9wks) All pregnancies conceived at first month of ttc Which is making me think I may be super fertile and accepting any old rubbish egg.

Currently recovering after last MC as it was dragged out and additional twist of twins (eek!) consultant appointment next week to review results of karotyping and see what plan if any they propose. Planning to visit Coventry after two AFs. Also got discharge appointment on same day with Response trial and hoping to sign up to new anxiety trial for next pregnancy.

OneStep2015 · 17/06/2015 20:10

girliesaints so sorry to hear what you've been through.

Interested to hear more about the anxiety trial, please can you give me some more info, thanks?

ThePopAndCry · 17/06/2015 20:29

Am crazily behind and can’t believe we’re on another thread already. Here goes my massive catch up.

cheesy I don't think I’ve even said ‘congrats’ yet. So, ‘congrats’! Am really, really rooting for you lady.

freckle and minnie looking forward to discussing Leeds experiences and plans on Saturday.

may I think what you did sounds lovely and am pleased you have something to remember your little one by.

onestep thinking of you tomorrow.

march massive hugs, love. I hope you are looking after yourself and taking time off if you need it.

sebs thinking of you on Friday. Re the high dose folic acid – Liverpool have recommended it to me because I might have the blood clotting thing. I don’t know how it’s supposed to help but whatevs. If they think it’ll help then so be it!

cat Huge congratulations to you and your family. Am so pleased for you. Hope you are all well. What a lovely name and a perfect size. x

flower I hope you’ve been ok today and had some time and space for yourself.

tanny I don’t think I can add to what has been said on here. You’ve had a huge, huge journey to get where you are and a lot of loss and heartache along the way. I don’t think anybody who has been through that and kept going could be seen as being a failure. You must be an incredibly insightful and strong woman to have spotted your symptoms so soon and taken the decision to get help. It's only when we don’t have to cope anymore that we are able to give ourselves the space to deal with this shit and heal. I hope the GP is helpful.

sasha and spartacus I’m sorry you are both having low times as well. If it's any help, I've had a shitty week as well and think that this whole shit fest that is rcm really needs to fuck off and leave us all alone, now. Flowers

My miserable stats…
Me 38, DH 42??
1st MMC May 2011 - 5/6 weeks, miscarried at 9 weeks??
DS May 2012 - placenta praevia but other than that, all ok??
2nd MMC Feb 2014 - 5/6 weeks, miscarried at 7 weeks??
3rd MMC June 2014 - 5/6 weeks, miscarried at 12 weeks. Rcm tests @ Leeds all negative, prescribed HCG from next bfp? for suspected hormone imbalance?
4th MMC February 2015 - no heartbeat at 20 week scan. Induced labour and gave birth to dd at 20+4.
Have since been for lots of tests in lots of places and have decided I probably have a clotting thing but will never really know...

Hugs to the rest of you. Sorry if I’ve missed anything or anyone.

Re GoT – WTF! WTF! WTF! x

Boozle80 · 17/06/2015 20:31

Tanny I'm sorry you're feeling rubbish - it's not at all surprising after everything that has happened. I think you're amazing and if I have half your strength then I know everything will be ok. You've kept so many of us going just remember we're all here to return the favour. Sending you a massive hug xx

fififolle · 17/06/2015 20:39

March thank you for making a new thread and updating the tests. How are you feeling? It's such a horrible time. Sending lots of love, hugs and positive vibes. You will get your baby xx

fififolle · 17/06/2015 20:40

Can I ask what dose folic acid people are taking? I'm taking antenatal vits with folic acid in them and have just started 400mcg extra today.

mrsdiddlydoo · 17/06/2015 20:42

onestep no steroids because my nk cells were in the normal range. Will be thinking of you in the morning.

Thanks Spartacus. Things are getting a bit more real. Eek! and thank God and what can go wrong now... trying to stay as positive as I can.

IFinishedTheBiscuits · 17/06/2015 20:44

Thanks for new thread and stats.

Me: 37, DH: 48, DS1, DS2
MC1, Nov 12, approx 7 weeks
MC2, Aug 13, approx 9 weeks
MC3, Nov 13, approx 5 weeks
Attended RMC, Prothrombin G20210A mutation identified. Prescribed progesterone and Dalteparin from next BFP.
MC4, Aug 14, approx 10 weeks
Attended Coventry in March 2015, results show NK cells normal.

Now three months post-Coventry. The good news is thanks to last mortgage application falling through, by the time I send bank statements for next application, 'CRM Coventry' will have dropped off the bottom of three months of statements!

Congratulations Cat! And can't believe how many of us are pregnant! Although no BPF for me for a year now, feels weird!

girliesaints · 17/06/2015 20:52

One step, the anxiety trial is currently only being run at my local hospital (Southampton) but if successful is planned to go national. Essentially its a rerun of a previousely successful IVF trial where all ladies complete a daily diary on their emotional state and then a randomised group then get additional interventions such as counselling etc to help them address any anxieties.

To be honest I'm half doing it for the anxiety but also doing it for the additional support you get from a research nurse. I found on the Response trial it helped make sure my appointments were arranged with no hassle, people get back to, rather than fighting the system the whole time.

TinyTear · 17/06/2015 20:56

Congratulations cat!

Tanny, you are not a failure and I second telling your dh

OneStep2015 · 17/06/2015 21:28

girliesaints ah ok I see.
Well good on you for doing all that and getting the help that you fell you need.

OneStep2015 · 17/06/2015 21:29

'Feel' stupid iPhone

inamaymaybewrong · 17/06/2015 21:39
