Good luck sun and brummie. Got everything crossed for you

So I've had a bit of an up and down morning. Woke up feeling hung over (wasn't drinking) and immediately thought ooo, maybe I am pg after all. Went to the loo to catch some wee and wiped to find red blood with little clots (sorry if tmi but this is not something I can discuss with dh). This is the 4th day of red spotting which is one of the reasons I thought I was out yesterday, but with the clots now I'm fairly sure. But then got the faintest of faint positives on the test. And I really mean faint. Any normal person would have just chucked it away as negative, but I'm sure there was something there. Strongest at about 5 mins but faded slightly afterwards (so don't think it's an evap).
I've not started the pred as I don't want to start then immediately come off (presumably I'd have to still wean off it?) I'll test again tomorrow and if its stronger I'll start then. But I think its looking like another chemical Sad
Thanking my lucky stars that tanny was kind enough to send me that pred as I've just chased the doctor for a third time and the consultant still hasn't bothered her arse to reply to the letter and subsequent email sent by the gp. Told the gp sec that I might be pg and she is going to chase it again. Feeling a bit flat about it all

Sun & Brummie hopefully you're in now, handholding!!

March that sounds confusing, could it be implantation bleeding? Really hoping that line gets stronger. So maddening your consultant though!

Floweroct · 12/06/2015 09:08

Oh march really hope that it's not another chemical. I can't believe the Drs you really do have to take the lead on everything - thank goodness for this thread. I really do hope it works out for you, you're so supportive towards everyone you really deserve it x

sebsmummy1 · 12/06/2015 09:10

Oh March that sounds like a total headfuck. I had a bit if dark brown stringy stuff along with my bright red implantation bleeds.

Will the test photograph? I'm excellent at seeing squinters.

Lovemylittlebear · 12/06/2015 09:15

Hope you are ok march x

Jady77 · 12/06/2015 09:19

And just to say March I only managed to get meds around 5+3 when Coventry results were delayed m so sounds like you'll be taking yours in good time. Good ol Tanny :)

OneStep2015 · 12/06/2015 09:33

Hope you are ok March

bootles · 12/06/2015 09:43

Oh march dammit to the total headfuck. How many dpo are you? I wouldn't assume its a chemical based on the faint shadow - that's how this one started, fainter than faint at 11dpo and honestly a normal person would have said it was a negative test. As to the bleeding, have you ever had implantation bleeding/implantation bleeding like that? I really feel for you, it"s awful when you have a situation where there are those few days trying to confirm if its a definite valid bfp or not xx

bootles · 12/06/2015 09:44

And grr to the doctors who make this journey harder than it has to be.

tannyLoo · 12/06/2015 09:45

Oh March, as Sebs says, total headfuck. I know it's easy to say, but I think you'll have to sit tight and test again tomorrow. So hoping it's an implantation bleed. We've had lots recently that have been fine, so if it stays relatively light I'd say you're still in with a shot.

Jady I meant to do a big whoop last night but fell asleep with my phone in my hand!

Jady77 · 12/06/2015 09:52

Thanks Tanny. How's the potty training going?

Getting nervous here for Brummie and Sun, so hope it's going ok.

Marchgirl · 12/06/2015 09:54

Hmm. It's enough to bleed onto a pad and very red, so not very hopefully. I've had implantation bleeds with all of my pg apart from dd but never for 4 days running and not with clots. I'll just have to sit tight til tomorrow. Test is at home sebs, so can't take a pic, but really don't think you'd be able to see anyway, as it faded a bit since the maximum.

In total shock - baby there and wriggling. Measuring 10+1 so gained again and now bang on LMP, with strong hb. Was so sure it would be over, I had even taken a hospital bag with me in case they could fit me in for an erpc today!

Thank you all so much for your support - it was so lovely to read all your messages this morning while I was waiting in the car park.

brummie - I have everything crossed for you too lovely. x

march - sorry that's it's all so confusing hun. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's an implantation bleed. And for what it's worth, this one also started out with the faintest of faint lines. x

Floweroct · 12/06/2015 09:59

Ah sun that's great news so pleased for you! Bless you for taking a bag xx

Just hope brummie has also had good news

Marchgirl · 12/06/2015 10:01

March Sad hugs lovely x

Jady "all I do the whole day through is dream of poo" is our new song... (don't know if that translates well to text but hey ho...)

C'mon Sun and Brum .

tannyLoo · 12/06/2015 10:03

Doh! Sun, that's great news! So relieved for you!

Jady77 · 12/06/2015 10:06

Fantastic Sun! So pleased for you. Just Brummie now, biting nails.

cloudjumper · 12/06/2015 10:08

sun That is soooo brilliant! Doing a silent dance of joy for you at me desk in the office Smile

march Urgh, headf**ck indeed! Poor you! My advice would be to do something that needs all your concentration today, so that you get distracted. Get yourself a FRER, if you can, and test again tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

brummie Still crossing everything for you xxx

Marchgirl · 12/06/2015 10:11

Tanny, good luck with that! We found wees quite easy for potty training but poo definitely took a bit longer. We had to sing a song ("'s done a poo poo,'s done poo poo, nah, nah, nah, na") and do the conga every time dd did one. It worked! But there were several accidents along the way. One of which a babysitter had to deal with. Oops.
