Whoop whoop Just, excellent news x

Scan has finally confirmed a MC and offer to theatre in next couple of hours. Although it's sad, I'm relived the wait is finally over.

As on response trial I'm being treated as minor celebrity so first on surgery list and although my local hospital doesn't routinely do kareotyping ever, it's been arranged for me and there's a courier on standby to take it to another hospital for testing! That alone has been worth doing the trial.

Hope the others having scans today/ tomorrow have better luck than me x

Minnie74 · 29/05/2015 12:08

Oh girlie I'm so so sorry. Total shitness. You've been so brave waiting and waiting. I'm glad you're straight in though and don't have even more waiting to do. Hope you're home and getting some tlc soon xx

cloudjumper · 29/05/2015 12:08

just That is great! Fingers crossed you'll get to take Scott home today.

girlie and sun Thinking of you both, wishing you the best possible outcomes for your scans.

longest Not long now! Either way, you will be meeting your baby very soon.

On boobs - I have never ever had any boob symptoms, neither for successful or unsuccessful pregnancies. I also never had to pee more than usual and always get through the night without having to get up.
Goes to show how varied symptoms are and that there is no golden rule!

Scanxiety starting to ramp up here... Still spotting/bleeding constantly, but feeling really sick at the same time. No idea what to expect - I don't dare to hope, but I can't help it.

cloudjumper · 29/05/2015 12:09

Oh girlie I am so so sorry Sad How awful. Please look after yourself.

Sunandrainbow · 29/05/2015 12:10

Thank you so much for all the positive vibes ladies. For the moment, they seem to be working! Scan was good, baby has caught up a lot, so from being 7 days behind my dates eight days ago, to only 2 days behind today, meaning I'm now 7+5. Hb was also strong at 152. So, I am feeling the teensiest weeniest bit of positivity today, although of course I have to add the obligatory... 'It's still very early days'.

Hand holding for all those with scans today and tomorrow. Am thinking of you.

bootles - I think theres no right or wrong answer about the hcg but you have to be comfortable with the meds and you definitely sound most comfortable with the decision not to take it so I think that's the right thing to do.

longest - wow! Due date tomorrow! Hope baby makes a civilised day time appearance for you Smile

And just to say again - you ladies are a life line - thank you so much. x

Sunandrainbow · 29/05/2015 12:12

Oh girlie - X posts - I'm so sorry. Big hugs lovely. And pleased that they will do the karyotyping for you. Flowers

longestlurkerever · 29/05/2015 12:18

So sorry girlie. Really glad you're feeling supported but it really is shit. Huge hugs.

Great news Sun though. Really pleased for you.

And Just that's great news too. Fingers crossed you get the right decision soon.

I have never had sore boobs in pregnancy though have had one itchy nipple throughout this one which has been annoying (tmi!). They haven't changed much during the course of pregnancy and breastfeeding but all the other women in my family seemed to get the boob genes and I have always been a pear shape.

Marchgirl · 29/05/2015 12:24

So so sorry girlie SadFlowers. I know you already knew in your heart it was over but it's still a massive blow. Glad you have felt supported by the response team and that you will get karyotyping now. I hope that or Coventry provides some answers. In the meantime hope the op goes ok and that you've got lots of chocolate, wine and box sets on hand for getting back home. Take care of yourself x

Marchgirl · 29/05/2015 12:28

Good scan news sun. Grin Hope the positivity lasts a while this time. When is your next scan?

Hand holding cloud. A good friend of mine had daily spotting throughout the first half of both her successful pg and has two dd now. It's a worry, but it doesn't have to be bad news x

Justonemoretime · 29/05/2015 12:29

Girlie, I'm so sorry. I'm pleased, at least, that you're being well cared for. I hope that the tests give you clear results to help you move forward.

Sun, good news, v pleased for you.

Justonemoretime · 29/05/2015 12:30

Cloud, everything crossed for you for tomorrow. xx

Sunandrainbow · 29/05/2015 12:33

march - next scan in two weeks. Is going to be a long fortnight!

cloud - hand holding for tomorrow hun. Really hoping that it is the good news that you deserve. x

mrsdiddlydoo · 29/05/2015 12:42

girlie I'm pleased they're treating you well but sad it's ended this way. At least you don't have to wait any longer. Fingered crossed the karotyping is useful. Be kind to yourself this weekend. X

sun that's great news Smile go little sunbeam. Enjoy the fleeting moment of positivity! One day at a time.

You're up next for scans I think cloud. Feeling sick is a good sign. Got everything crossed for you tomorrow.

bythesea82 · 29/05/2015 13:04

girlie I am so sorry it ended that way for you but pleased the waiting is over. I am glad they are treating you promptly and have also arranged the karotyping. Huge hugs Flowers in a shitty situation xxx

sun great news on a good scan, hope the next 2 weeks don't drag toooooo much!

cloud good luck tomorrow x

Minnie74 · 29/05/2015 13:18

sun so pleased for your good scan news. Smile

cloud everything crossed for tomorrow. Not long now.

Still showing low on the opk today (cd8 I think-cov spotting means I'm not sure really) used to get a high by now like clockwork. I know it's not long but I'm literally dying to get going! Got to ov this week or Dh will be away. Had acupuncture yesterday (I want to be my acupuncturist!) and she did some ov stuff and was adamant we have lots of sex this weekend- as you can imagine Dh is gutted at that newsWink I just wish I knew when we got pg last time compared to ov and then we could do exactly the same thing! I'm overthinking it a bit!

Brummiegirl15 · 29/05/2015 13:20

Girlie I'm so sorry and I'm gutted for you. I know you knew but we always hoped. Thinking of you.

When I flew to Germany last week, I carried my Coventry letter with me for the progesterone

Sun that it ace! Yay!!!!

Bootles I really wish I could advise, but I think trust Prof B.

Longest I'm so excited for you!!! Grin

Just keeping everything crossed for you re going home. I'd love to see a piccie of little Scott as well if that's ok?

Just told Occu health at work my news. Worrying I have jinxed it.

4 weeks today and every time I go to the loo I panic

Marchgirl · 29/05/2015 13:34

Good luck with the dtd minnie! my af started a day early after Coventry, but i still ov at the same time i would have done if it hadn't, but could be different for you if you started several days early. Fingers crossed its coming.

I'm stressing about getting the pred. Just spoke to gp and whilst she says she is ok about prescribing it, she did say that she needed to check with consultant whether she's happy about it too. I know consultant's not happy about prescribing it, but she said to me "your gp might agree to prescribe it". I just told gp the last bit and not the bit about her not being prepared to prescribe it herself. I don't think this is going to go well when she emails her. Really hope she relents. i know i could get a private prescription but no idea how that would work up here

Bubblybubbles80 · 29/05/2015 14:04

girlie I'm sorry for your loss there is always a little hope even till the last scan.

Erica21 · 29/05/2015 14:23

girlie I am so sorry for your news, you've been incredibly strong all the way through, Flowers and hugs and wishing you a speedy recovery from surgery x

Sun that's fab news for you, really pleased!

cloud I have everything crossed for you for tomorrow.

I'm in on Monday for a 9 wk scan, feeling like death warmed up today but just hoping that's a good thing!

Catlover2014 · 29/05/2015 14:38

I'm so so sorry Girlie, I was hoping for you. Hope DH and hospital are looking after you.

Glad scan went well Sun. Taking it one day at a time is all you can do but so far so good.

Have now broken up for mat leave and am off on holiday for a few days. Will check in next week.

Will be hand holding on Saturday Cloud. Got everything crossed for you. XxX

Brummiegirl15 · 29/05/2015 15:06

Cat is on maternity leave!! Woo hoo! Kitten will be here soon.

Quick question. Anyone on the Miscarriage Association Trying Again group?

It's doing my head in already. Even I'm not ready for scan pic after pic. Lots of people doing repeat testing and posting their sticks and stressing over the colour of their lines. Then getting stroppy at people when they say step away from the tests.

Am already finding it too much! xx

OP posts:
Sunandrainbow · 29/05/2015 15:10

Enjoy your mat leave and holiday cat. Sorry, I can't remember when you are due - is it start of July?

brummie - no not on that group thankfully!

CheesyMash · 29/05/2015 15:15

I'm so so sorry girlie, I know you said you were expecting it but I was still hoping for a miracle for you. SadFlowers I'm glad you're having top care though and it sounds like they're really looking after you this time. Take care xxx

longest not long to go now, hope baby decides to start the journey at a reasonable time!

just wow a pound!! That sound like amazing progress. Really hope you can take him home today.

Thanks for all the flight tips, that's really useful. I'm 30 in sep minnie, I hope I love my early 30s too and they revolve around bfing and changing shitty nappies Wink xxx

girliesaints · 29/05/2015 15:21

Whoop whoop cat going on maternity leave. Enjoy the few days break.

Back from surgery and enjoying my toast. Thanks for your kind words. Off home and to book a holiday!

Brummiegirl15 · 29/05/2015 15:24

That is exactly what I did Girlie after number 2. Came straight home and booked a trip to Florida. We have a villa we book every year directly and it's my family's "happy place"

So straight home and straight on internet.

Big hugs xx
