Erica, I'd been told before I might have a heart shaped uterus the but it was st Marys who confirmed and removed the septum. Part of the issue is that your uterus changes shape in pg so its not clear.

Dh just home and woken me up Angry no point trying to settle until he's come to bed.

Boozle80 · 05/11/2014 07:44

Fingers and toes crossed for you Longest. We're just waiting to hear the results of the hcg tests and to see if they're high enough to do a scan. My cervix was closed and uterus was soft but she couldn't see an obvious reason for the bleed and she said that the cramping I'm in unfortunately isn't a positive sign, especially because of my history. Fingers crossed for this morning!

bakingtins · 05/11/2014 07:50

Flowers for boozle it's so horrid being worried with no real answers.

Lawofsod · 05/11/2014 12:07

Hi ladies, I'm new too. Was recommended this thread by bakingtins who kindly replied to me on another board. I'm so sorry that everyone here has to go through this crapness, but very grateful to not be alone with it. I have no children.

I had a MMC with no visible embryo in early 2011 (previous partner) - waited in the end for a month till 11.5 weeks for it to exit the building. No pain relief (rubbish hospital advice), did it at home and was traumatised afterwards.

I had a regular miscarriage at about 6 weeks this summer.

Yesterday I had a scan at 8 weeks revealing another MMC with no visible embryo. Not up for waiting this time, so trying to choose between medical management and ERPC. Torn because I just want it over with, the less pain and gore the better, but I don't want to damage my insides with an overenthusiastic vacuum hose...

Do you have any thoughts about which to go for? I hope that's an ok question to ask.

Many thanks
