And feeling a bit low tbh. I was 9 weeks and last night I actually passed the feotus and I can't get the image out of my head.......

Have great support here, but it's always good to talk to people who have been there.

Am off to bed soon so if I don't answer I'll be back in the morning.

Thanks for listening.

So sorry to hear hun. Been there and although you still think about them, it will get easier to bear.
Alot of people suggest planting a tree/plant/rosebush etc. If we'd had a garden (decent one) then i would've done this. A wonderful way to remember.
Take it easy on yourself, give yourself time to grieve. Thinking of you xxxxxxxxx

A big hug to you Northerner, my heart goes out to you. I hope you are able to get lots of rest and support where you are.

I know it is early yet but have you thought of doing something for her/him?

Planting a special flower in your garden so as you can focus on it - maybe having something "positive" to do may allow you to feel like you are doing something and not get so dragged down, then when you feel low you can talk to/focus on that special thing.

Am crying for you hun, wish I could say something actually helpful.

xx

cupcakes · 19/04/2006 10:45

I'm so sorry, Northerner. I had a missed miscarriage at the start of March. It was a really long month yet at the same time it seems a long time ago now. We planted an apple tree in the garden to symbolise our baby and seeing it starting to come into blossom now is very special.
Thinking of you. xx

Blandmum · 19/04/2006 11:24

So sorry to read your sad news. I lost my first at 12 weeks, and needs to be hospitalised.

Give yourself lots of time to get over this, be kind to yourself and don't expect too much of yourself IYSWIM

My dd was born 2 years to the day that I lost the first....it takes a while to feel like 'yourself' but it does happen.

Send you best wishes

PandaG · 19/04/2006 11:38

So sorry to hear this. I lost my second at 12 weeks, so can empathise a bit how you are feeling. Take care of yourself, and if you need to talk about it do, in RL, on here, with a counsellor...

Much love xx

Northerner · 19/04/2006 11:52

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I've never used MN before for anything other than having a laugh or a debate. Now I know why it is so wonderful, to have all these people who I've never even met thinking of me and sending messages of support.

Thanks.
