Right, so some voting (for dates), and some venue checking has been done, and Me n NappiesGalore have made executive organising planning decisions (based on us having little time and few options )

Saturday 22nd November

Dust Bar (website here)

Nearest Tube Station - Farringdon

It will be canapes, so if you want more food, eat beforehand.

The canapes are being chosen for us - they will be clearly labelled as meat, fish, veg and will allergy advice.

The music we can bring a dj, ipod with playlist set up or have music piped up (music is a very varied mix so should suit everyone). We can use any/all of those options.

Music is quieter at bar end, plus we will have volume control.

Price will be £20 per head max. I will phone tomorrow to find out when they need final numbers for food etc, and when we have a more accurate numbers list, I can work out the right cost - it WILL NOT be more than £20. If we end up paying more than is needed, then obviously I will buy a new dress divide it up and refund people OR put it behind the bar - whatever you think is best.

How's it all sound?

I went in a new top and sparkly jeans last year.

am wearing a dress (maybe, depends on how warm/wet it is) this year.

or a new top and same sparkly jeans again.

flame wore a top and jeans and high boots.

I think go as you would normally if you were going out for a meal....that way you are in something comfy and you come across as yourself rather than all uncomfy and fidgety.

we are going to have fun, not as a style and beauty thread starter.

No, not too late wobbly - just copy and paste the list and add your name to the bottom.

piratecat - there's transport to London from all over the country (and further afield) you know . If you say where you're coming from you might find someone else who will travel with you.

you were one of the first to speak to me, and in fact were sat diagonally opposite me on the table, so you have no choice!!!

oh, and there was no signs of ball curling going on when you were sat down, I would have noticed
