Morning Jammy, we'll see you then, I'll try and see if their nan will look after the girls that afternoon, they don't mind going there so much now that she's got internet access!. We'll get the train, I'll find out where to get on . Would you mind sending me your address again please, I can't find it.

We went to see fil on Saturday, he was asleep for a lot of the time and looked so very frail and thin. He knew we were there but he could hardly speak, apparently he had a heart attack LAST SUNDAY and we weren't told, despite having two meetings with doctors . He has been penciled in today for surgery to remove the rest of his leg if his heart is strong enough, (they've got to remove it to stop the infection spreading), so we won't know until later on and his kidneys have completely failed so he will need dialysis all the time now too .

Mrsei, hope you're packing is going well and you're getting rid of a lot of clutter .

Biglips and MD - how are you both? .x

browny thanks for asking about my stuff esp when you have got so much on your plate at the mo you are lovely sorry your FIL is still so ill. dont lose hope hun {{{{{{hugs}}}}}} the packing is goin ok but i have hurt my back so i cant do much as yet we need to get hold of a shredder as we have got a bag and a half of old useless letters that DH thought we should keep 'just in case' i mean as if we need a statement of our old house insurance from 3 years ago...we didnt even make a claim!! men eh!!
ah well how is everyone else?? MD nemo BL jaamy anyone i have missed??

Mrsei, you poor thing, you on earth did you manage to hurt your back, ttc too much eh? . Thanks for the [hugs], just heard that his operation is going ahead today, we don't know what time yet.

browny i wish i had hurt it during TTC but no such luck!! at least a sex sprain is not too worthy!! i hurt it getting out of bed like an old woman and then again getting in the car!! i think my body is protesting against my weight gain so i think a diet is in order

Mrsei, pmsl , that bread does sound delicious... I sneaked a cadbury choc button easter egg into my trolley yesterday at Morrisons (well, it was only £1.09), I was very good though, I shared it, ds2 wasn't happy when he woke up this morning and saw the empty box though (he was already asleep when we opened it).

we have still got a stockpile of DDs choc from christmas here but i have put it up high where i cant get at it now with my bad back lol at easter egg though MIL has bought all her easter eggs already but has opened one or two!! she is also on the post-noon diet like me

pmsl browny..dh bought some of those £1 easter eggs from asda for PIL of course there is one less now. Hope all goes well for FIL today

EI pmsl at your doesnt count..I think if I eat while moving it obviously isnt food as I havent sat down and enjoyed it.

Kids are all ok and no crying going into nursery this morning from any of them
DH is ill today both of us were up with d+v of course he lay in bed until half an hour ago where I had to get up with kids feed and dress them and do relevant dropping off then tidy house etc..thankfully dh goes away tomorrow until fri so am just biting my tongue till then.

BLs how are you doing..saw your thread about california..have you booked??

MD hope you are ok..is it march you finish the FT teaching??

Jaamy how are you and is dd2s cold better now?? DD2 caught it and has been slightly snotty but not too horrendous..well apart from projectile vomit on dh last night..must admit was quite funny

Hello all!

Browny - hope that FIL op goes ok. How is DH doing? How very naughty of the med staff not to tell you about the heart attack. Will text you address. All your DCs are more than welcome here. Would ordinarily have said taht the girls could surf but DH will be around and no doubt monopolising the pc (see below!)

Well, DH has now decided that he will be WFH all next week! LOL as if he has a choice! One customer has decided that he isn't needed on site...So ladies, we will have a DH in our midst next wed, best behaviour, please. Have told him to make himself scarce or suffer the consequences!

Ei - hope back is better soon. Does this mean I'll be testing by myself at the weekend?? Will email address to you.

MD - bet you're looking forward to half term. Then only another 5 weeks til you're back to part time! Was thinking at the weekend, how did you get on with the bathroom?

BL - California???????

Nemo - sorry about the cold - I did warn you! Hope DD2 not been too poorly with it. My DD2 is still a bit snotty but ok in herself. And hoorah for all your littlies with no tears this am.

SA2 - are you around next week? Wondered whether you'd be able to join us on wed?

hi jaamy i will still be testing at the weekend as i dosed myself up and gritted my teeth to get the deed done also i hurt it after i thought i had Oved anyway so there is still a smidge of hope fingers crossed for us

I have just got back from a lovely, relaxing weekend at center parcs. Although I haven't done anything, I am worn out!

Biglips - we went to California a few years ago and booked everything separately.

We stayed in a bog standard travel inn type place in San Fransisco so we could splash out a bit more when we went to Las Vegas.

It does depend on what you want to do and what you want to see. We went in school summer holidays. Hope that helps

Hi MD - I'm very of your lovely relaxing weekend, but you did deserve it. Fil op started at 5pm, he might be in there for a few hours, dh has been at the hospital since 3pm ish. I've already had 6 trips to school/back again to pick kids up/drop off again, dd2 and ds1 are at football practice til 6pm, so I'll be out again soon... good to keep busy I guess.

Hi, just to let you know that fil op was cancelled, they only told him at 7pm that they weren't doing it today, after starving him and limiting his fluids all day , we were told that the surgeon had "already gone home"!!!????, his op is supposed to go ahead tomorrow now.

SA2, really glad we'll get to see you at Jammy's .

Yes thinking of going to Cali as my friends lives in the Orange County which is not far from LA.

Browny...that is outrageous!!!!! esp when your poor FIL had to starve himself all that day!!! (and sorry to hear about the heart attack situation too )

MD - good to hear that you had a great time at CP......i find myself so knackered when i come back from taking DD to school... its 10 mins walk each way! i bet youre showing now as mine is just bloated!!

Got a midwife appointment this afternoon - hooray!...my docs had cocked it up so everything is going forward.

Got a parent evening tmrw late afternoon !!.....i wonder how really good is DD!!!!!
