Only one explantion for it - Ei and Jaamy are having twins! LOL

Might be able to make it on Tues but usually go to DMs so will have to see if she has any plans. If I do go to Yellow Sub, PLEASE do not let me buy any biscuits. Spent a fortune on them last time!

Jammy and Mrsei, I've got my fingers crossed for you both, how exciting!, Mrsei hope your little girl is feeling better soon, poor little one . Fil had to start dialysis today as his kidneys hadn't started working.

As ds2 starts nursery on Monday, I don't think it's a good idea to let him have a day off just yet to go to the Yellow Sub, when he's been going for a little while I'll keep him away from nursery and meet you there hopefully.

sorry your FIL has had to start dialysis browny i worked in the halewood unit in the royal for a while and it is not too bad of an environment considering why you are there iyswim also it will hopefully give his body a little rest to recuperate before the strain of restarting his kidneys workin which is a good possibility as kidney failure is reversible xx thinkin of you hun xx

Of course, Browny - was forgetting that DS2 was going in to nursery in the afternoon. Will see you soon, no doubt. DOn't know much about dialysis but hope it works out OK for your FIL.

Ei - don't worry about the birth thing - DH is doing it this time, he said he would. I What's that? Physically impossible, you say??? Now why on earth would DH volunteer if he knew that he just wouldn't be able to do the whole sickness/fat/stretchmarks/no alcohol/incredible pain/stiches/haemorrhoids/sore nipples/sleepless nights thing. Just doesn't make sense.

in response to jammys question waaaaaaayyyyyy down the thread now, Fridays are best for me. Some Thursdays ok too, as i am free some of them but at work others. Tis very predictable though, and i'm around the next 2 thurs
DD is with me when i'm off, and DS2 from lunchtime when i pick him up from school (Nursery class, half days).

Nemo - I am waiting for my scan appointment to come through, the hospital rang today when I was at work but I got back too late to return the call. Will have to ring tomorrow.
I am counting the weeks until I go back to working part time so I can come on the meet ups! 9 weeks to go!!

BLs glad dd feels better

Well not good in the nemo household ds has croup!!! He gets it about twice a year but this is the worst I have ever seen him he was awake for about 4 hrs with the cough to the point where he was throwing up and he has a temp etc.Of course he was also really scared as he couldnt breath etc He is currently asleep in our bed with dh. DD2 is supposed to be having her mmr today..or the other one cant remember but not sure whether to take her now. However on a positive note dd1 is now on her 5th dry night so only one in nappies now.

It was DS's bday yesterday.....he had and absolute ball!!! took him and his mates bowling...what a giggle!!!

and he got his much sort after wii so i have been boxing, golfing and bowling from the comfort of my living room

Hmmm, was just wondering what a "Christmas even" was! Thought I was missing out. Glad the job is going well. Was really strange not to be going back to work after New Year.

Jaamy A is still poorly..just had to ask neighbour to sit with him while I dropped girls at nursery. He hasnt moved from the couch and even went back to bed for an hour this morning

Girls have both just screamed being dropped at nursery and H completely refused to get out of the pram...sigh Although when I walked past C had stopped crying.

Hi, just to let you know I went in to see fil yesterday, I got a terrible shock, they think he's had a heart attack now, he looked so frail and he was saying that he was going to die that night , there were tubes coming out of his neck, hands and legs .

I was struggling to hold myself together but in the end dh took me for a coffee - I couldn't go back in to see him like that - I didn't want him to get even more distressed . We're hardly sleeping, we're sort of keeping one ear out for a call from the hospital. Do you know what the hospital asked him, they asked an extremely ill man, hardly awake if he wanted to be resusitated!!!![shock, why don't they ask people to fill in a standard form when they are admitted?

so sorry to hear that news about your FIL browny hope he gets better soon and re: the DNR form i have had many a conversation with the junior doctors in hospitals about this as they seem to think that involving the seriously ill in this decision helps to empower them but i think it is best discussed as either a family unit or with the next of kin prior to bothering the patient with this. it is the kind of thing that would panic a patient IMO xx so sorry you and your family are having to go through this xx

ok i tested on thursday and BFN but it wasnt FMU or anythin so im still hopeful as AF is still AWOL!! how bout you jaamy?? u still waitin??

Browny - how awful. The staff have obviously never had a relative in this position otherwise you would expect them to be more considerate. Hopefully it won't come to that and your FIL will pull through but you all must be having a terrible time. Hope you manage to get some rest - you must be a great support to your DH. Does he have any siblings who are able to share the stress IYSWIM? Must be really hard if it's just you and DH.

lol jaamy i thought i was the only one howling/screamin at AF/moon!! if we both got lucky this month the babies would be october i think!! i bet i will end up with another over xmas heavily pregnant situation!! it was horrendous last time as i couldnt even eat my dinner!! i was too big!! i wouldnt mind though if it happened as long as it did actually happen!!fingers crossed for us though!!

Well now both the girls are ill with temps etc..h spent a lot of last night coughing and throwing up so a pj day all around today..well except dh who is in work. A is a little better today though so fingers crossed all will be better soon.
