Fil is slightly better, he's still on kidney machine but surgeons want to amputate his foot tomorrow, dh is very worried as we don't think he's anywhere near strong enough for that.

Nemo, hope all your little ones are feeling better. Did you get my e-mail yesterday about the police car?

Mrsei and Jammy, hope next month brings happy news for you both .

I am fine thanks Browny, not feeling sick anymore just indigestion and constipation -lovely!!!
Date for scan is 24th of Jan, I will be nearly 14 weeks.
Will be thinking of you and your family tomorrow - hope all goes well.

Browny - hope it went ok yesterday and that your FIL will require no further ops. Hope rest of family are ok and you and DH are getting some rest. How did DS2 get on yesterday? Did he go to nursery? I wouldn't blame you if you held off for a while what with everything else going on at the moment. x

MD - glad to hear you are OK apart from usual pg gripes!

Nemo - how are you all doing? Didn't want to phone over the weekend when all sounded so poorly. Hopefully catch up with you this week.

BL - how're you doing?

You would think that if we got a BFP this month we would have Oct babies, wouldn't you? BUT mine always want more than the 9 months in there and take an extra couple of weeks to come out (A was due 24th Sept and didn't appear until 10th Oct; J appeared 12 days after due date) so fairly certain will be a Nov babe if we get lucky this time round!

Sorry, can't do today, Ei - it was today in Yellow Sub, wasn't it? Are Fridays any good for you? Then we can arrange something that Gigglewitch can get to as well.

Jammy, fil's op went well, he is still on dialysis but we expected that. He is sitting up in bed reading a paper . I think he's being transferred to a different hospital in the next day or two that specialises in rehabilitating amputee patients. Apparently he was awake during the surgery and could hear everything they were doing , we're all so relieved that he's made it through the operation.

Nemo, how are you today? Please, please post on here, text or ring me if you get fed up that's what we're all here for, if we didn't care we wouldn't be worried about you, really hope you feel happier soon.

hi jaamy i would prob join you in the due in nov department as S was 11 days over!! she was due 28th dec and appeared 8th jan!! i was the last to give birth on the due in dec 05 thread with nemo!! i was not amused
i didnt end up goin to the yellow sub as the weather is poo and i would have had to walk from the bus station in queens square and i couldnt b bothered to be honest!! fridays are great for me as i dont usually work on a friday so i would be free to join in and play so would S as it happens

Hi Mrsei, ds2 is in nursery right now, feels really odd being in the house alone. The afternoon nursery is much quieter with only ten or so children, most of them are actually in Reception, only three of them are 3 years old. He said he was a little bit excited and a little bit sad because I wouldn't be staying with him the whole time. I did stay for one hour and when it was playground time I told him did he think it a good idea if I went home to hoover-up, he said it was and would I have a ham butty waiting for him . Fingers crossed he likes it .

ah it is weird when the kids first go to nursery isnt it!! S had to start in day nursery when i went back to work and when my shifts changed it usually landed on days where she was in the nursery i would just used the spare time you have got now to relax, put your feet up and read a good book- or catch up on some well deserved afternoon tv!!

Hi, where is everyone?

Ds was absolutely fine at nursery, he didn't want to come home because he hadn't had a chance to paint , he went in today really excited and I was a little worried because I couldn't stay with him today as me and ds1 had an appointment outside school. My dad collected the dc from school and he was so happy because another little boy had his birthday today and was giving out sweets!.

I am so glad that DS2 is enjoying nursery, it's one less worry for you.
Any more news on your FIL?

OMG!!! this rain!!!!!!

i needed a dingy and a oar to fetch DD from school!!! as got completely soaked!!

Glad that DS2 did well in preschool Browny as maybe hes a afternoon person and not a morning person so smiles all round now.

Hi, just to let you know that fil is now being moved out of maximum care into a normal ward, he's still on the dialysis machine and is very low in himself but things are looking a little more positive now . Ds2 had a lovely day at nursery and didn't even ask me to stay, I was so relieved .

Biglips, I got soaked through a few times today too, we were going to take the dog for a walk but it was chucking it down and she doesn't do wet weather!

MD the viewing went well the fella is now considering his offer to put to us- he rang the estate agents earlier on and asked them to ask us if we were open to offers so fingers crossed

I am fine but still very tired. I have beeen going to bed about 9 O clock every night.
My scan is Wednesday morning so fingers crossed that everything is ok.

how exciting and nerve wracking at the same time i was really scared when i was goin to have my 12 week scan for S and it was wonderful seeing her for the first time are you taking DD with you?? i think i would if/when i ever get preg she would enjoy it i think as she carries round a scan pic of her when in the house showin visitors the 'baba' ooh i cant wait for another one...sorryi get a bit carried away sometimes with my rambling

I am worried as well as excited.

I think it will seem real after the scan.

Not taking DD with me because she doesn't know yet. She has no idea of time and everything to her is 'in 5 minutes'.

I am going to tell her when she notices the bump. She did tell me today that she wants a baby in her tummy when she is a big girl!

I really do hope that you, and Jaamy, get your BFP soon .
