Sal66 has been back in touch to say can we make it the Fort (Borders cafe) instead... she's not so sure how to find the People's Palace and will be tight for time anyway...

Hi where is the Fort? I would have to come by public transport & @ 6 months pg with twins plus heaving DD & buggy on & off buses I'm afraid probably West End or city centre are all I can manage. Anyhow will have chance to catch up another time so go ahead & if I can get there easily I will.

tulla - bus no 38 goes from city centre out to fort. it stops outside queen street station

Sal66 has just cancelled for Wednesday so will we stick to the People's Palace then? Felt rotten for suggesting the change anyway when I saw it was going to make life difficult for Tallulah.

Don't worry about me - as I said I can always catch up next time. However I can make the People's Palace this Wed so whatever you all decide is fine.

Yep - not promising will be there on time but will aim for 11:30. Just depends how long it takes me to waddle from the bus stop to the Winter Gardens

Not really Geordie -I'd have to bring car seat on the bus- but thanks for thinking of me. I can get 16 bus to London Road I think. WG not far from there just takes me a while these days. I will just take it easy spurred on by the thought of cuppa & cake aforementioned healthy snack.

Have texted Vio to see if she fancies it too. She's not far off dropping mind.. 10th of November I think.

Hi ladies ! was lovely to meet you yesterday morning, glad that we chose to meet up yesterday, the weather is horrendous today!

Was nice to see you all yesterday. Unfortunately had a bit of trouble getting home. Refused entry on 3 buses in a row - not cos was drunk & disorderly sadly, just cos already buggies on there. DD was knackered by the time we got home so she had early night too & was asleep when I left for work at 8am this morning. Catch up again soon hopefully once am on leave.
