We've now vacated the pregnancy threads - hope everyone can find us here!

weeonion · 04/02/2008 19:55

yep - it is a bit of a bermuda triangle round there!

trixymalixy · 04/02/2008 22:30

Friday morning sounds fine to me.

My first day back at work wasn't too bad. A bit dull as I was just reading stuff, but it was nice to have my breakfast in peace and go out for lunch.

Mum was looking after DS today and DS choked twice on a blueberry and then an oatcake and then fell over and bumped his head on the kitchen floor. Don't think I'm meant to go back to work. I should just stay home and look after my baby!

blanki · 05/02/2008 00:14

Hey yal! Been reading occasionally, but being quiet and well behaved! Not like me! Cant make Friday Im afraid, but maybe next time? Ds bit at nursery today and Im contemplating getting all his teeth taken out so I can relax. Hope he grows out of this soon.... no-one will want to meet us!

geordiemacminx · 05/02/2008 06:44

Friday no good for me -dp got the day off work so we are heading up see outlaws for the weekend.

weeonion · 05/02/2008 20:49

Bookthief & ds??

are we gonna see any of the newcomers and those freshly baked bubs???

AngelKG77 · 06/02/2008 12:15

Hi to all! Would love to on Friday, but you'll have to put us down as a maybe...I have my first rheumatology clinic appt. at ten a.m. and have no idea how long it will last... Usually Friday's a great day for us though!

What time were you all thinking? And where exactly? (sorry if a silly question, but I have virtually no idea where I am! )

And our big news lately is that dd is growing like a weed making up for her early arrival - she's grown 2 lbs in the past 2 weeks to a slightly more robust 8 lb 7.5 oz!!! HOORAY!!!

TALLULAHBELLE · 06/02/2008 16:18

WooHoo - finally online! Will try & make Fri but E got rotten cold that she can't seem to shake. What time?

geordiemacminx · 06/02/2008 16:44

Tallulah - C is exactly the same - eyes streaming, nose streaming and barking like a dog.

There is a chance I might be able to make it after all depending on how C is - where and what time?

TALLULAHBELLE · 06/02/2008 17:40

Poor wee things. Typical - 3 months in OZ, nary a sniffle, we come back to Scotland & she's snottering & snuffling within a week. You can imagine what her father has to say!

bookthief · 06/02/2008 18:41

We can make Friday but I won't have Internet access until Monday now so WO could you text me the arrangements?

midnightexpress · 06/02/2008 20:07

Hi Tallulah - good to have you back.

DS1&2 both snottering for Scotland too so maybe they can all snuffle together. DS2 did the most spectacular sneeze (I'll leave the consequences to your imaginations...) while I was driving along this morning. Oi. Seems like they've had it for weeks too - can't seem to knock it on the head (I'm sure it just goes round and round between them - via me. DP seems to escape unscathed for the most part).

Hope to see you all on Friday anyway, but will play it by ear if the boys look likely to spread their ghastly pox.

weeonion · 06/02/2008 20:14

how does 11.30 at the winter palace on glasgow green sound??

sorry to hear about all the poorly babies - must be the itme of the year for it! snot and sniffles ahoy!

geordiemacminx · 06/02/2008 20:33

I should be there if C is better.

midnightexpress · 06/02/2008 20:40

Could anyone make it a bit earlier? My two ratty by lunchtime so will probably head home by about 12.

midnightexpress · 06/02/2008 20:43

Oh and btw Angel, the Winter gardens are at the People's Palace on Glasgow Green. If you're driving, you can usually find a place to park nearby(ish). Not sure what nearest train station is? I'd probably go to Central Station and walk down Argyle Street but others may have brighter ideas than me?

weeonion · 06/02/2008 20:51

high street station might be closer?? or go to bridge street and walk aross the suspension bridge?
I am not sure if i can do earlier - have HV round but could change that if it suited you lot better!

trixymalixy · 06/02/2008 21:49

Earlier would prob suit me better too.

weeonion · 06/02/2008 22:07

ok ladies - name your time and i will be there! and i will make the right coffee shop - not like the last time at kelvingrove!!
is 10am too early for folks??

trixymalixy · 06/02/2008 22:19

I'll prob make it there about 10.30. Any idea what parking is like?

weeonion · 06/02/2008 22:22

10.30 is grand for us. there is parking at the residents / housing estate just off london rd but there is usually spaces by the templeton carpet factory / business park.

lp77 · 06/02/2008 23:05

Would love to come out on fri but startin my shape up at queen mums at lunch time so by the time I get organised for that don't think I'll be there but maybe...
If my darling daughters get out their bed and let us all get organised and out the door!! Not really complaining.
Hope you are all well.
Tallulabelle, how did you manage flight to Oz? How old is your wee one, my hubby Australian and we flying out in a few weeks with both girls.....aaagghhh!
All hints and tips accepted ta x

AngelKG77 · 06/02/2008 23:49

Sounds great...we'll likely be a bit late as appt is at ten at Southern, so I'm guessing we'll be closer to eleven/eleven-thirty if anyone still around..? And will be driving, so hoping to not get too lost on the way...

thanks for the clarification on the where!!!

TALLULAHBELLE · 07/02/2008 16:59

Hi - should make it tomorrow. E still snotty but seems Ok in herself.

lp77 DD was 4 mths when we flew out & slept pretty well in the bassinet. Coming back she was 7 mths & wanting to be up & about so was much trickier. How old are your wee ones? Who are you flying with? We went qantas & can't say I was impressed with their baby friendliness! Anyway, ditch the shape up & come & have coffee - much more fun

weeonion · 07/02/2008 22:27

great - hope to see some of there. It's always lovely to see how much the weeones have grown since the last time and I am looking forward to meeting some new folks! Tulla - if you are bronzed and gorgeous - I will be

See you there around 10.30. I will be sticking round for a while as i am going to visit a nursery close by that afternoon.

We will be the ones with a green buggy. I'll be trying to discreetly shove a chocolate muffin in my mouth!
