Meet-ups

When meeting up take sensible precautions. Meet in a public place and let others know where you are going.

Especially for shy mums in Derby...

I know there's an August Derby meet-up arranged, but how about a trip to Markeaton park for nomates and everyone who's volunteered to meet up with her (from the Relationships board)?

Ronniebaby · 07/07/2004 23:42

I aint shy, but I'll come along depending on the day & date, I can really only do Thursdays.

MadameButterfly · 08/07/2004 19:00

count me in too if I can makes it.

clary · 09/07/2004 05:32

Yes I'm up for this...
are we talking about before the end of school term? If so weekends or after school suit me best TBH because of working; h/ever could do a Friday morning if that suited others....other days not so easy, but let's see
If we mean in school hols, I am off a lot of the time, no childcare any day (or school obviously) so most days will suit.
What do others want? Talking dates, I cd do after-school thurs july 15 or Mon/Tues july 19/20; then we're into hols.
Nomates, no posts for a while - hope we haven't scared you off? Please post again even if only to say you don't want to meet up - we won't be offended!

Hulababy · 10/07/2004 20:38

For next two weeks I can only do Monday and Fridays. After that I am off for summer holidays so can do almost any week day for those weeks. On holiday for 2 weeks from August 12th though.

redfiasco · 11/07/2004 15:06

Hello,
I would like to come, have not made it to one before, and am a little shy. If in daytime, would be me and baby, after school it would be 2 dd`s (7 and 9) as well.

Ronniebaby · 11/07/2004 23:55

In school hols can do Tues & Thurs, but then as from September DS starts school so will be limited to school hols or after school.

Babysteffee - as you started the thread would you like to chair it and decide on a day which best suits you.

MadameButterfly · 12/07/2004 00:02

I am moving house mid-september, could we possibly make the meet before then?

discordia · 12/07/2004 12:33

Hello. Just to add myself to the roll call ... will come with kids if in school hols before 31 July. If before school hols, might come on my own and have a paddle and an ice cream!

discordia · 12/07/2004 12:33

PS - very nosy - where are you moving to, MB?

MadameButterfly · 12/07/2004 18:40

WE are moving to DP's Grandma's bungalow in Aldrige, so we can sell this house and whilst we are waiting for our brand new house to get built in Sutton Coldfield

redfiasco · 14/07/2004 11:13

Hello all,
Would like to add myself and 3 children to those coming, am looking forward to it, although must admit is a bit daunting!!!

Hulababy · 14/07/2004 11:41

Pay desk is fine by us.

WedgiesMum · 14/07/2004 13:46

Easy · 14/07/2004 13:53

Right, I THINK we'll be there. My mother has just announced her intention to visit us next week, staying from Sunday to Friday. So any arrangements I have made will have to meet with her approval.

She has told me she might bring my niece (aged 15) too. Hey, it's only MY House !!!

Ronniebaby · 14/07/2004 14:21

WM - I am disgusted, we aren't that important for you to change what you are doing , only kidding sweetie, you will be missed

Clary - at the top of the talk pages there is a load of titles, oen says moderators, we are there

redfiasco - You will be made very welcome, so stop worrying, we are a really nice bunch of ladies (oops wrong term there ) women/mothers

Easy - no worries, if necess bring your niece, we dont mind, bring your mother too, the more the merrier )

clary · 15/07/2004 12:07

bbensley · 15/07/2004 12:44

Ronniebaby · 15/07/2004 21:05
