Ooooh go on then, I missed the last one. I would rather have day time than night, and Saturday. Dh works every other Saturday so if it is a working one, would have to be afternoon.

sorry girls - wasn't paying attention! AFAIK I could come any Saturday then (DS1 has GCSEs so we're not going anywhere) - if it's daytime will we make it a thing with kids or not?

Hi JanH! That's 6 or 7 of us so far - wonder if Rhubarb will come? Ninja came to one but not sure if she's still around or not. And then there's FF, Tinker, lillibet, TUTB who were at the last one too along with someone who shall remain nameless and uninvited!! The more the merrier!

Yep! It's tough. But the support I'm getting on here is helping me cope. Just being able to get my feelings out is a help. Dh likes to bury his head in the sand most of the time and won't talk about it. He just does what he can to control the situation.

I'll own up and say I know nothing about football - do we need to check footy fixtures to avoid herds of fans on Saturday, or has it all gone quiet by the end of May, early June?

Also to avoid eejit chains who don't allow babes in arms on the premises on match days!

If we met on the 19th June we could see the cowparade!!

Moniker - I like the idea in theory, but in practice it is quite tricky. Dh often works Saturdays, and we tend to have packed diaries, especially in the summer anyway, (weddings, birthdays, church family picnics, carnival, etc).

I would really love to put some faces to names on here though. If there is a meet-up, I will try my best to come. My preference would be for somewhere child-friendly, so that I could bring dss (5 and 6) as well.

Ok - so far we have one vote for children, and two for not their own children.

Anyone have any strong feelings either way?
