As the last thread was getting long and ot much arranged?

Any ideas or dates?

What about everyone puts down dates they can't do between now and end of June to get us started?

I can't do weekend of May 8/9th.

I would probably have DH in tow, as he hates being left out on the weekends! Would that bother you? Can it be a mix - some with, some without?

DH is dead easy to talk too He's really chatty and loves a gossip regardless of who with. And he loves playing ball with the kiddies, etc.

Just catching up on this. I can't do the weekend of the 8/9th either, or 22nd May apart from that anything goes.

It isn't likely that my DH will come along, he's not very sociable

I am away staying with friends this weekend, sorry.

I think there are few people away for next 2 or 3 weeknds. How about thinking of a June date that more of us can make?

june should be okay, half term might be tricky probably away but any other weekend.

i may have to cancel at the last minute my mil has cancer and we might have to dash away but count us in please.

Oooh now I'm intrigued - how was it unusual???? Tell me, tell me.....and did you enjoy yourselves??

Ours was standard white wedding, penguin suits, big white frock. Saw DH's friends from University, and their various wives and children which was nice as we hadn't all been together for ages. DH completely disgraced himself by getting REALLY drunk by 8.30pm and we had to come away early Still Me and the kids looked fantastic!

ps Can do most of june except weekend of the 12th

really lovely, beautiful wedding but unusual because...

  1. very small wedding 30 guests (but DH is the cousin of the groom so was expecting lots of guests)
  2. DD only child but FIL has two children!!
  3. grooms bro didn't come
  4. no best man or bridesmaids
  5. no poeple other than us the bride and grooms age
  6. no evening do

however the food was so scummy!! smoked salmon (but a fillet not little thin slices), roast veggeis for main course (beef tjhingy for meat eaters) and the yummiest chocoalte moose fro dessert!!

We need a weekend chosen I think don't we. So I'll list some possible ones ffor June/July and if people want to say which suits them best. We can then think of a location - maybe a picnic at some nice park if weather looks good?

So, weekends:

Sun 6th - we can't do this one as DD is going to a party

Sat 19th
Sun 20th
Sat 26th
Sun 27th
Sat 3rd
