Emma/Sykes - would definitely recommend against eating in the Playbarn with children - limited menu and you're time-limited on Saturdays in the Playbarn. Still does nice cake and coffee for the adults though.

Twinkie · 02/02/2004 20:40

Thanks SB and Emma - I have a packet of non latex condoms in my bathroom cabinet - will bring them along shall I??

lydialemon · 02/02/2004 20:58

I've been trying to post on here all day! I missed you all so much I even had a little lurk on Pie's( v.swish) site

I sorted out DS2's drawers today, in an effort to be good and put the washing away. This means I have a large bag of boys clothes in size 2/3 yrs which I would like to pass on. I'm mentioning it here as I could bring it on saturday if anyone is interested. If no one wants it, its just going to go to the nearest charity shop. I haven't got the space to store it, to ebay it.

may be at SBs earlier than 1.30 - DDs ballet class finished at 11.45 and it is about a 40 minute drive (actually may be less than that on a Saturday morning) - I will pack Harriet a lunch and either let her tread it into SBs carpet or I will let her eat it in the car.

squirmyworm · 02/02/2004 22:13

lydialemon - I would love the clothes if no one else has bagged them first...my ds is only little but growing fast...If others have a yen for them please say, we can always share! I will look out for balloons but in case I don't manage to get one of my own I am short with a terrible haircut and tend to dress like something you'd see on guy fawkes night on a bonfire.

sykes · 03/02/2004 12:10

See you in the cafe, Emma. Also, am sure everyone will need to dash off afterwards but if not, people are welcome to come back to my house - in Godstone - for coffee/tea - wine if not driving etc.

Lil · 03/02/2004 17:44

Ha Ha Angelmother I am at the Playhouse as well, watching Andy Pandy 'live' for the first time!!! Maybe we should have had a mumsnet meetup there (with balloons??).

Squirmyworm, consider them yours! LOL at description, are you sure you're not me?

mammya · 03/02/2004 20:55

Hello all, following on from the single parents thread, I might join you if Twinkie's kind offer of a lift still holds.

Twinkie · 04/02/2004 10:10

Still holds and I have secured a car seat - just be at New Eltham Station by 11.45 and I will pick you up - will have to pop home for 5 minutes to get pack lunch for DD but will go straight from there!!

Looking forward to seeing you again. XX

Tilly, myself and emmatag, I think, hope to meet for lunch at 12:30 (we've never met before) in the cafe near the playbarn - if you want to join us there, please do. I'm 5'2, (long, dark brown hair with roots showing - nice)will have jeans on and probably a very scruffy parka. Have two dds 2 and 4. Think emma has THREE boys ....
