Hello shiny new thread.

There was a mention of badges. Are we supposed to bring our own, or will there be sticky labels and marker pens facilities to create some form of ID on arrival?

Also (burning question), what is the MN convention regarding RL names? Do we spend all evening going "Hi Methods" or "Fancy a drink BigTilly?" or are RL names allowed in, erm, RL??

Well I've scoured Style & Beauty and have decided on my outfit.

White linen trousers with a drawstring waist, a fleece with some kind of motif on it, Fit Flops and a Kevlar vest at the suggestion of dh.

And one of those fleecy hat with ear flaps.

i think pag has to come as an excuse to wear an exceedingly nice pair of shoes.

i may wear Per Una from top to bottom for entertainment value only.

Right, I REALLY am seriously considering coming. Have just been looking up trains and hotels and stuff. DP is insisting that if I stay in town that he (and the kids!!) come too and we make a weekend of it - I am annoyed and delighted in equal measure by this idea!

Or having checked the train times I could just about make it work - who knew trains ran so late from Waterloo - they never did in my day . I'd have to leave at about 11ish though realistically - is the party likely to just be getting going then - will I miss all the juicy best bits?

I know you've all probably gone to bed, so am just going to sit and stew this one over for a bit longer
