I'm off to Asda in a bit to get some bits to start on Monday. Daft question but what mince do I get? Is it full fat mince or the usual 5% fat mince?

Im watching youtube success stories to galvanise myself.

Also, i think some days my carbs were too high. I was eaiting the whole punnet of raspberries with my greek yoghurt. I should have just added 1/3rd of them.

Such old habits die hard though! On any other diet the calories in raspberries are so negligible it makes no difference how many raspberries you eat!

Going to square up for a week of really trying to keep carbs under 50

I use carb manager to keep track of my carbs each day, I find it really useful as I can input food items ie raspberries and see the carb count before I eat!

I aim for 20g or less carbs daily for weight loss. That value can vary from person to person but this works for me.

I was doing quite well the last few days eating salads etc but I shared a pizza with OH for lunch today Sad. No sweet things though so that's something. Getting back on it properly tomorrow. I find it harder when I haven't had much sleep, always crave carbs when I'm tired.

KetoWinnie I find it really easy to overdo it with berries!
My "handful" is far too big.

I made a gorgeous iced caramel latte earlier. Felt really indulgent.
Almond milk and cream with sugar free caramel syrup ice and a shot of espresso.

No breakfast today but had left over chilli with leeks cooked in butter and parmesan for lunch.
DH is making keto pizza and salad for tea

Pizzas planned today on keto pizza bases.
Just had a brunch of sausages and eggs and coffee with cream.

Day 1 for me today. Had scrambled eggs with half an avocado and some bacon for breakfast, a selection of cheeses, ham and salad for lunch and am planning on roast chicken with tender stem broccoli and asparagus for dinner. I'm still drinking my usual 6+ cups of tea with semi skimmed milk, which I hope won't have too much of a detrimental effect on my weight loss.

It's nice to see a keto thread that is not invaded by people claiming it's so unhealthy Grin. I've been keto for just over a year , I lost 8 stone. 5 ft 6 and went from 16 stone 10 to 8 st 10. I am currently trying to go back up a but because I felt it was a bit low.

I can honestly say it changed my life and for the first time in my adult life I'm maintaining after losing weight which is a little unheard of. Is it ok if i pop in from time to time as I still need to be reminded of tips and tricks and the benefits?

I'm finding maintaining good but easy to slip. I could do with like minded threads.

Im have a bad day today but that's because ive plateaud at 10 stone for 3 weeks. I lost 7lbs in the first 2 weeks then plateaud so quickly.

Trying to stay positive.

Well done @Shinyletsbebadguys that sounds amazing! I've redeemed myself today by having a cheese and Tomato omelette for breakfast, an avacado snack then yogurt and berries for lunch. Am starving now so might have sausages with broccoli for dinner. I've ran out of salad now Grin

I've never posted a picture before but I am on a keto Facebook page and this graph really helped me when I first started , the first two weeks I think I lost about 10lbs and then it slowed down to nothing for 6 weeks (ergh it was horrible but I was always quite impatient). The 3rd to the 6 week it seems weightless often stops then restarts with a vengeance. It did for me to keep me going so I don't know if this graph will help @KetoWinnie (sorry am not really sure of the etiquette for @ ing people sp apologies if this isn't ok)

Welcome @Shinyletsbebadguys and well done on that fantastic weight loss!
First weigh in today and I’ve lost 2.6kg so I’m happy, Hope I can lose again this week. Made a creamy cauliflower and broccoli soup for lunch which was lovely though it was strange adding fat to soup when I usually try and make it the opposite way.
Hope anyone else weighing in today has a nice surprise too! Good luck

Hello, I am happy to find you all. I have been attempting to get into ketosis for a week and lost 2lbs. I have 4 stone to lose and I am 5ft 3. I am having two cups of coffee with cream for breakfast each day, then either one big meal or two small ones, to fit around what I am up to. I made a savoury cheesecake yesterday. It was amazing and so filling. Today I feel like I may be in ketosis because I am not hungry and I feel energetic but calm if that makes sense.
