Shouldn't cause constipation but, because you are not eating stuff your body doesn't need, you will most likely have fewer bowel movements.

Winnerella, I read that day 3 or 4 could be keto flu which could cause stomach upset, maybe it was that or more likely all the oils and fats.

It’s good though as I definitely Don’t feel hungry or deprived like I normally do, the weekend will be hard for me, I’m hoping to relax slightly but not too much!

Yeh it could have been that. I think it was later that day that I had a headache and fell asleep to dream about a coffee and walnut cake!

BUT............. that was the worst day. It's been ok since. I fell off the wagon once in 3 and a half weeks.

So, realised today that next jeans are no longer uncomfortably tight. I had really moved up to a size 14, so I feel i've nipped that in the bud! I had gone up a size and pushed the bought out and bought a few pairs of size 14 jeans! Like I was settling in to it. Committing to size 14! At 5'1''.

Anybody else mixing in a fast here or there? The weight falls off in the first 2 weeks but it gets to the slowed down point so quickly with me. [argh] Hoping to keep the needle going left by doing a fast once a week (if I can manage that often)

@JustMoved123 I would prefer a beer or a pink gin, but luckily a glass of wine is low in carbs. I was surprised to hear that. But a glass of wine can jazz up a carb free dinner!

Isn't it weird, if any of you are about 50, you'll remember your parents going to cheese and wine parties in the 70s and early 80s. How keto! Little did they know.

Yes I am in my 50’s, cheese and wine would be lovely! I was thinking a g&t at the weekend would be better than wine?
Also in a 14 and they are tight, if me happy in a 12 though. Always lose of my bottom first and still have huge boobs!

I'd love to join you. DH and I are starting on Monday. We do eat meat, but DDs are pescatarian, so any recipe ideas without meat would be really appreciated. I'm 5'5" and am 11st 11oz. Would love to get down to around 10 stone. Good luck everyone!

Winnerella Yes, I'm mixing in fast. I don't do it in a routine but find I naturally have fast days and hungry days. Weight will most likely slow to a lb a week and according to the bootcamp threads, weeks 3-4 are often sticking points weight wise.

I have just broken my 36 hour fast with mackerel fillets. You are supposed to break a fast with a small amount of protein. I didnt know that last tim and broke it with a very rich egg, cheesecand keto flourvpancake fried in butter. Nearly got sick.

No discernible weight loss but stay calm stay calm. In this for the long haul.

I'm inspired to join you all. I'm a tiny 5ft, I dont' weigh myself but know my weight is creeping up because I love bread and cake.
I did keto a couple of years ago and it worked really well, I got down to a size 12 from size 16.
This last year I have been diagnosed with severe depression and my eating habits have become extremely erratic and I swing from not eating to stuffing my face with rubbish.
I think taking back some control will help my recovery and it would be great to get back into my Jeans.
My favourite keto snack is a wedge of cheese with peanut butter on.

I felt fine! Hardest part was when kids ordered a pizza. Teens i should say. Not abandoning helpless kids!
It was much easier than this day last week. I dont lnow if ill ever see 9 stone again but trying to take the view that im fixing my insulin sensitivity and not get discouraged by weight loss slow down less than a month after starting keto!

I definitely had insulin sensitivity. I was ten stone ten. I was already eating in a window of 11 to 18.00. Wasnt binging. Wasnt over eating really. I just ate 90% carbs. Tiny bit of protein and the only fat i willingly ate was in chocolate.

So trying to just give this 6 more weeks and see if i dare introduce the odd legume!

It is super hot, I'm going to miss my iced latte. I'll have to get back to making smoothies. I know fruit isn't great, but a handful of blueberries or raspberries is needed.

Hello! Can I join please? I'm 5'3 😆 and 14 stone 😩 so I look like a weeble. Tried the Cambridge diet and lost 10lbs in 10 days but I just couldn't tolerate the meals 🤢 but I NEED to do something. Got a flipping date on Friday ( why do I do this to myself) and I'm crapping myself that "I'm too fat" I'm going to start on Monday ( it's always Monday 😆) any tips what I should get to prepare? X
