I lost all my excess weight two years LCHFing. It's crept back on over the past year as ive reaching for the frackers, been, eating the kids chips etc. Carb creep and not tracking...means I'm 15lbs over where I like to be ☹️

So, I need to reboot.

I've started tracking today. My aim is to have less than thirty grams carbs a day...

I am armed with double cream, babybel and dark chocolate.

Anyone want to join me?

I meant to add- you may well find that your taste buds change and you don’t want anything very sweet, or that it only takes a tiny bit of sweetener for something to taste extremely sweet.

50, please could you share an example of a day's meals that equate to 32g carbs (14g fiber)?
Trying to gauge my meal planning and have variety in meals. currently having eggs for breakfast and spinach and baby leaf salad, chicken or fish grilled for lunch and similar for dinner with veg (broccoli and cauliflower).

Day 14 - ✅ 71g carbs (17g fibre).

Tired and no food in. Ended up eating a chicken spinach wrap!

B - spinach pepper chorizo omelette made with cream and butter. Tea. Dark choc

L - sweet chilli salmon flakes salad leaves red pepper mayo raspberries cream

D- no dinner. Started 18 hr fast.

Cakes at work today for colleagues birthday. Half a Cream filled Chocolate eclair only 7g carbs 🙂

Fasting is easy because you're not that hungry! Not sure if this speeds up weight loss - guess it depends on the rest of your week!

This is despite eating much less than I used to eat when I was eating starchy carbs! What is going on, all?

Thinking of subscribing to Les Mills on demand to do the wide range of exercises in the hope of speeding up weight loss. Currently, go to local gym 4/5 days a week though thinking if I had these effective exercises at my fingertips then maybe....

Did anyone try Les Mills on demand at home?

Ah 50, it's so hard somedays and I also think it's w balance between losing weight but also enjoying things. Enjoy the party!

I've got that delicious aubergine gratin tonight that was recommended on here. Yum!

Just tried two tablespoons of chia seeds in almond milk and allowed it to set. Lots of fiber and very low net carbs.,

I buy the organic chia seeds from Costco. It is sold in most large supermarkets though as well as health shops.

I am intrigued about your fasting, 50. Is that to speed up weight loss or for other benefits physiological benefits, if you don't mind me asking. I am trying to do a full 12-14 hr fast by eating my supplier earlier at between 7-8pm than I normally do (at 9-10pm). I normally don't have my first meal till 11.30-midday. That is because I have lemon and hot water first thing then have my coffee and cream only as i walk to the gym for my hour's work out (did spin today) then when I get back I pooter around till I am hungry (usually after 11.30am). so probably doing 14/15 hr fast most days (if you don't count coffee and cream as breaking fast). I know some keto gurus don't but I am not sure. I need the coffee to do my early morning energetic workouts. so much to coordinate!!:)
Any thoughts?

I just started it because I wasn't always hungry in the evenings and eat early anyway. I have breakfast early, 6.30am so I stop after lunch a couple of days a week.

If I were you just design it around your norm. Although I'm not sure about coffee and cream. I'm not doing keto just low carb. Maybe biwi on bootcamp would know?

For me I doubt it has speeded up weight loss but it definately keeps me on the straight and narrow!

I am still here, on plan, but nit much happened after father's day. Currently 9sto.8 lbs. I really would like that to reach 8st 5lbs. But it is going painfully slow, and somedays I don't plan then I have to do with whatever available which means eating very less(two eggs normally) and fill me up with cream coffeex3 and cheese triangles(2). This need to change 😟
I do IF most days too Zoti, like you said though. I need that coffee in the mormimg, but could go until 11.30 before I eat anything. I used to do breakfast at 7.30 and lunch by 11.30. Can't believe that was just two months ago! So much have changed since then. Anyone know about cholestrol levels on Keto diet, any links/good read? My hubby want to tey this woe but his Ch is always on border, so don't want to push that high.

Haha, Linzdreamz, temptations! temptations! i know what you mean. It was so hot yesterday I felt like one but refrained and had a chilled Kirkland coconut water and counted it in my macros.

Heading off to Kettlercise at 6pm ... and I have been hitting my 10,000 steps a day this week.

I haven't weighed myself (I fear it won't be much and may demoralize me), though my clothes feel better. Wore my jeans this morning and had less of a muffin top:)
