Week 3 Pre-Christmas 22 Boot Camp

Good morning! Smile

Here we are at Week 3 already Shock

So today you have a choice: you can move on to Bootcamp Light, if you wish - which means you can re-introduce some fruit, some nuts/seeds and some (low carb) alcohol (drye wine and certain spirits). Note the use of the word some! This means in moderation - and not all of them at the same time Wink

If you wish, you can also now introduce/re-introduce intermittent fasting - most people drop breakfast, but it's up to you how you want to do this. @StuntNun has a thread about how to combine fasting with low carb for anyone who is interested in this approach.

You can, if you wish, remain on Bootcamp, if it suits you and it's working for you. Alternatively you can adopt a hybrid - so Bootcamp during the week and Bootcamp Light at the weekend.

Whichever route you decide upon, good luck! Flowers

A reminder re weeks 3 & 4 (and even 5)

It is very, very common for weight loss to slow or stop in weeks 3 and 4. If this happens to you, know that it's not just you! It's also very unlikely to be something you're doing, or not doing, if you've lost in the previous two weeks.

Just KOKO and things will get going again for you.

It is, though, also something to bear in mind if you do decide to switch to Bootcamp Light.

I’m tagging @FinallyHere to ask her to link to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness so that I don’t link to an out-of-date one Blush

Good luck to everyone - hope you're continuing to see results either (or both) on the scales or NSVs (Non Scales Victories - leg clothes fitting better or better skin or more energy)

I'm about 6lb down over the 3 weeks, which I'm really happy with.

Been absent for a bit. It's H's bday at the end of October and I've always struggled with the start of October bootcamps as a result.

He's a carb fiend (but jogs and does 5/2) and I cook him what he wants and eat with him - he's very supportive of my LC eating generally so I make an exception for bday time.

Rather than falling off completely for a few weeks/months I'm back on it. I am peri so knackered most of the time, but I know that I have more energy on this WOE than others so just keep reminding myself of that!

Loving the sound of that 8hr sleep @Baystard ! What a great NSV!

Also wanted to thank @UnOeufIsEnough for the pilates recommendation - it was exactly what I was looking for - thank you!

Thanks for the new thread @prettybird and @FinallyHere . I’ve been absent last week completely fell off the wagon. Back on now though I hope. I love the well-being challenge. I know I need to improve my sleep and that a lot of other things would also improve. I am trying to reduce caffeine and screen time. I also started a wellbeing diary a few weeks ago which I was using each day as a prompt to think about what’s gone well and get into in a more positive frame of mind.

B black coffee
L nice cheese and salad
D veg noodles, miso broth, poached egg.

I need to up my water.
