plumstone I always try to eat a little bit (except for fasting periods) because otherwise I find I get unexpectedly hungry later, and dive towards a biscuit, rather then eating something sensible at the proper time.

Food today:
B - a long walk followed by coffee with cream
L - avocado salad
D - cod mornay, with broccoli, green beans, cabbage. I made the cheese sauce using BIWI's easy recipe - amazing and the squeeze of lemon juice made all the difference. Great tip.
Best thing is that there are some left over veg, and some left over sauce, so they are in the fridge waiting for the right indulgent moment to be eaten.
I'm looking after my dgc tomorrow, so lunch is already made - ham hough soup with swede and a bit of carrot; then sausage and kidney casserole with green veg, and some pasta for dgc.
Tonight dh obviously fancied a glass of wine with his fish, and poured me a glass too. I took a couple of sips, but discovered that I didn't really want it. I'm drinking peppermint tea, and my glass of wine is back in the fridge. This is almost unheard of
