Morning all. Sorry for the late start - had a bit of a bad night so slept longer than usual.

I hope that the scales were kind to you this morning, but please remember week 4 is notorious (along with week 3) in that you are very likely to have seen no loss, or even a small gain

If this has happened to you, DON'T PANIC!

This is your body adjusting to a new WOE, and from now on you should be burning fat. So don't change what you've been doing and things will get moving again; you should expect to see 1-3lbs losses each week (depending on how much you have to lose)

However, it's also important to be scrupulously honest with yourself. If you have had no loss, or seen a gain, go back over what you have been eating and drinking. Have you been following the rules? Have you been keeping your fat levels high? Have you been drinking all the water?

Good luck to us all for the following week as we go into lockdown once again. I know it's not going to be easy, and the lure of carbs (and all the alcohol) will be even more ever-present. Post here if you're needing support to stay away from them and together we can help each other. Remember, you're not alone!

This thread has made me do some proper cackles today, so thank you for the distraction from everything else that's going on.

Saying that, I feel much more optimistic about lockdown this time due to bootcamp. This lockdown I will lose weightinstead of gaining it!

Thanks @poorbuthappy I really am glad I took them although I didn’t really want to but it’s been great looking at them today and seeing the progress that I’m not necessarily seeing on the scales and I always love seeing other peoples pics as I find it really motivating!

Shared a 'this is how it started, this is how it's going' photo on insta. I bloody hate the photo on the left, taken in the summer. Still got at least 2.5st to go. I'm not sure you can see much difference with my face blurred

You know you're happy with your food when you want to share photos of it two days in a row and you're foisting recipes at people IRL! Chicken doner salad, based on the recipe someone linked to a week or two ago from My Keto kitchen. Romaine lettuce and a few bits, garlic sauce, and finished with some grated cheese. I marinated the chicken thighs for 24 hours in lemon juice, oil, ground coriander, paprika, s&p and onion powder, but then just chopped and pan fried in ghee rather than oven baking for 50 mins and it was fantastic. Would make a great packed lunch (if you don't then need to work closely with anyone Confused). Will definitely make again! Would be a great family meal, you could add pittas for those who eat them.

ShagMeRiggins - thought you'd be amused by this map that ds has drawn in anticipation of tonight's results marathon. He's fiddled Texas's borders to make it smaller. Confused He's studying American politics this semester (Junior Honours year) - fascinating time for him. Let's hope he's not disappointed tonight or in the coming week : although he'd wanted Bernie to get the nomination, he now recognised why Biden, as the "vanilla" candidate, was chosen.

We're also staying up (will be communicating with ds via WhatsApp he refuses to video call ) - will have the TV on in the background while we decorate our living room. Going from orange to teal Shock Have I mentioned we have a nice warm house? Wink

Lunch today was shoogled sprouts with chorizo and cheese, supper is leftover chilli turned into an omelette with mushrooms and cheese added. Bit light on veg today, will try and make up for it tomorrow.

I’ve had a bad day. It’s about to be TOTM and I just couldn’t stop eating today. Had Smoked salmon, half avocado and salad for breakfast.
Salad and with salmon and cheese for lunch, then 2 cheese slices, 3 hot dog sausages, Crunchy nut cornflakes & almond milk!!!
Chicken curry & cauliflower for lunch,
4 walnuts, 4 dried banana pieces, Spoonful of peanut butter and Dark chocolate and
Wine! 🙈

@SomethingInTheWaySheCooks that’s not so bad... the crunchy nut cornflakes are probably the worst and the banana slices but the rest is pretty good 👍 don’t let it get you down just have water from now til bed and whatever you do don’t weigh in the morning as you’ll probably be heavier anyway if you’re due on... come up with a plan for tomorrow what’s it going to be? X

Itsmeagain - are those picture really just in 3 weeks?! That’s amazing, especially the black trousers.

I like this woe because it really changes my body shape as well as losing weight. I seem to only ever lose mainly waist and face weight on calorie controlled diets but on this it seems to come off more evenly. I’m assuming it’s because of the fat consumption maybe?

@#itsmeagainagain Thank you! I will be out a lot of tomorrow so that will save me from munching away and I am getting a food delivery in the evening so should have better options. I’ve just been craving crunchy nut cornflakes for a couple of weeks. So finally had them .. and they weren’t that great after all! I have no problem eating veg. Love it. But at this TOTM I just feel like eating everything and nothing is satisfying.
