The Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Morning all. Sorry for the late start - had a bit of a bad night so slept longer than usual.

I hope that the scales were kind to you this morning, but please remember week 4 is notorious (along with week 3) in that you are very likely to have seen no loss, or even a small gain

If this has happened to you, DON'T PANIC!

This is your body adjusting to a new WOE, and from now on you should be burning fat. So don't change what you've been doing and things will get moving again; you should expect to see 1-3lbs losses each week (depending on how much you have to lose)

However, it's also important to be scrupulously honest with yourself. If you have had no loss, or seen a gain, go back over what you have been eating and drinking. Have you been following the rules? Have you been keeping your fat levels high? Have you been drinking all the water?

Good luck to us all for the following week as we go into lockdown once again. I know it's not going to be easy, and the lure of carbs (and all the alcohol) will be even more ever-present. Post here if you're needing support to stay away from them and together we can help each other. Remember, you're not alone!

@MrsKoala

Itsmeagain - are those picture really just in 3 weeks?! That’s amazing, especially the black trousers.

I like this woe because it really changes my body shape as well as losing weight. I seem to only ever lose mainly waist and face weight on calorie controlled diets but on this it seems to come off more evenly. I’m assuming it’s because of the fat consumption maybe?

Oneborneverydecade - your arms look half the size now Shock - well done!

@MrsKoala yep the befores were taken 13th October... the black ones look better than they are on the flesh partly due to the colour I think and possibly slightly better camera angle ... those awful grey joggers don’t lie though 😆
@itsmeagainagain Your photos look great!
@SomethingInTheWaySheCooks so kind thanks! You should take some I’ve never done it before but so much better than relying on memory 👍

itsmeagainagain · 03/11/2020 20:44

@SomethingInTheWaySheCooks I think you were pretty restrained!! 😆 I know the feeling or just looking through the cupboards eating everything you find. I’ve had about 4 bowls of cereal before covered in cream and sugar when it’s TOTM crazy!!!

@SomethingInTheWaySheCooks

^I’ve had a bad day. It’s about to be TOTM and I just couldn’t stop eating today. Had Smoked salmon, half avocado and salad for breakfast.
Salad and with salmon and cheese for lunch, then 2 cheese slices, 3 hot dog sausages, Crunchy nut cornflakes & almond milk!!!
Chicken curry & cauliflower for lunch, 4 walnuts, 4 dried banana pieces, Spoonful of peanut butter and Dark chocolate and Wine!^

This is really not good. The cornflakes, the banana pieces, chocolate and wine? What were you thinking? What triggered this, and why did you give in to it?

And @itsmeagainagain:

that’s not so bad... the crunchy nut cornflakes are probably the worst and the banana slices but the rest is pretty good

I think you were pretty restrained!

Really?! It wasn't restrained at all.

Please, please don't encourage people like this.

This kind of cheating is not good and you can't 'soothe' people away from it

If you cheat, you are sabotaging yourself.

Please remember, this WOE is not a forgiving one. These kind of lapses will not do you any favours.

Sorry @BIWI 🙁 was trying to not make her feel too bad about it as some of the stuff was low carb but you’re right... stick accepted

I understand where you were coming from @itsmeagainagain! And thank you for trying to do that Flowers but unfortunately, it doesn't really help!

The photos are so inspiring, and as I've said before on this thread, so real and honest, nothing airbrushed, nothing false.

I went out for lunch today - such a treat and a delight. Essential work meeting (followed by essential work lunch). My lovely colleague is also lchf so we ate not a morsel of bread. We took the butter from the platter and sent the bread back! I had fried mackerel fillet with celeriac remoulade, then salmon on tomato stuff with broccoli walnuts and blue cheese, greens beans in garlic butter. But also wine Blush. It was so good to feel like a little bit of normality.

I had a boiled egg for breakfast and after the huge lunch I had pumpkin and turnip soup for tea.

SomethingInTheWaySheCooks I try to have the 'right kind' of food in the fridge and cupboards - some which are high fat like cheesies or ham and cheese slices to make a rollito, but also things that stop me snacking more like wasabi seaweed thins. They are salty and tangy and almost no carbs (or calories). And they burn your mouth a little so I stop wanting other things. If all else fails I go and brush my teeth with really strong toothpaste. Most foods taste awful after that, so you have one mouthful and spit it out!

No. Absolutely not!. It was really bad. It doesn't matter how good the rest of it was!

@BIWI am suitably chastised for my actions last week!
I definitely need to abstain from the extras, nuts, fruit (both natural and fermented) and especially chocolate! I had my wobble on Thursday/Friday last week and then hit it hard from sat and weighed this morning so i probably did gain! Blush back on track now, I promise, please put the stick away

If I'm prowling the fridge with the munchies usually because I've not kept up my water Blush, I sometimes "treat" myself to a couple of chunk of Parmesan: the umami, salty flavour usually helps address the "hunger" pangs.

Alternatively, I'll have a spoonful of clotted cream. With a strawberry or raspberry if I have any. I also have frozen raspberries from the garden - one crumbled onto a spoonful of clotted cream is lush Smile

MsAwesomeDragon · 03/11/2020 21:56

I'm so impressed with the photos itsmeagainagain and oneborn. You both look amazing!!

Mrskoala your boobs look brilliant. I hope you're happy with them. I don't think I've ever commented on anyone's boobs while sober, but you did invite us to look at them, and they're worth a comment.

I've had a pretty good day today. The first person noticed that I've lost weight today. I've only lost 6lbs this bootcamp, but it's nearly 2 stone since I last saw this person just before lockdown 1. It's a real boost when people start commenting, isn't it? I really need my new work trousers to arrive, as these ones are falling down now! 😃
B: Greek yogurt
L: chicken and vegetable soup, plus veg sticks dipped in cream cheese
D: pepper and mushroom cheesy omelette, served with extra green veg.
No snacks today, which is almost unheard of. 3.5 litres of water as well (with electrolytes in 2 bottles)
