Low Carb Bootcamp Léger! Notre quatre semaine est ici!

It's Monday! So soon! Wink

Morning all.

Ici, c'est le début de notre quatre semaine du Bootcamp. C'est léger est pas ordinaire.

... which means we can relax things slightly.

Some fruit is allowed in moderation - mainly berries. Nuts and seeds in moderation, and alcohol very much in moderation.

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness if you need to, check the rules for Bootcamp Light on the tabs there.

If you're happy on 'ordinary' Bootcamp, then by all means continue. If you were finding intermittent fasting was helping you, then you could also consider trying to extend the length of time you've been fasting - so if you were managing 12:12, try working up to 16:8. If you were managing 16:8, see how much long you can extend that for. Just don't let it go so long that you get too hungry and are tempted to cheat.

Alternatively, you could do a hybrid, so strict Bootcamp during the week and Bootcamp Light at the weekend.

We only have two weeks left of this Bootcamp, so let's get/keep focused, and see what we can do!

I usually find I am lighter the day after alcohol, I think this is something to do with it dehydrating you! Certainly happened to me last week as I was lighter on Sunday (after a couple of glasses of wine on Saturday) and then gone back up on Monday.

That desert sounds lovely @prettybird! I have pudding envy

Doh, dessert. That was a typo. I do know how to spell.

Dead easy to make Freedom Smile - just a bag of frozen summer fruit, a tub of mascarpone and a few spoonfuls of Greek yoghurt, blitzed in a food processor. Could probably eaten immediately as it's still quite frozen, but I made it mid afternoon and put it in the freezer. Took it out the freezer to soften up when we were half way through the main course.

Dh tried it with some cream (as my dad brought some over) but says it was better without.

@Almahart

Just made the celeriac and leek mash posted down thread and it is amazing. Adding leeks is a complete game changer!
Totally agree @almahart it's quite weird how by just adding leeks it's so much fluffier, no idea why, but this how I'll always be making it from now on.

Thanks for the baked cheesecake recipe @LostaraYil - I took it for the picnic today and had it with a few lovely strawberries sliced over the top of it with some cream whilst everyone else was tucking into their cream tea and I didn't feel like I was missing out at all. Mine didn't taste very lemony, so I might add some more next time. It wasn't very sweet either, but that's a good thing for me as I really don't like overly sweet desserts anyway, and particularly now when being on boot camp as things taste sweeter anyway.
I'm going to try freezing a couple of portions and see if that works, as it would be handy to have as a back up dessert when the occasions arises.
