Morning all!

Here's the Spreadsheet

So we've got through the pesky weeks 3 and 4. Hopefully, if things have slowed or stopped for you, things will get going once more. Don't expect big losses each week though - losses will be around 1-2, possibly 3lbs each week (depending on how much you have to lose). But rest assured that each of those pounds will be fat.

And this is what a pound of fat looks like!

I’m STILL stuck at the same weight having lost over half a stone in first two weeks.

I’m going to do an egg fast from now until Wednesday to see if I can break through the 11st barrier into 10st sonethings. Wish me luck!!

@absopugginglutely No! You don't need to do that! Have you not been reading what I've been saying about weeks 3 & 4?! Just keep on doing what you're doing .

You can use something like the egg fast if you're really stuck, but it's not really sound nutrition and not the way we encourage people to eat on Bootcamp.

You know it's working as you've lost half a stone already. So unless you've been cheating over the last two weeks, then just keep going.

Stop being so impatient! It took a while for the weight to go on so it stands to reason it isn't going to drop off immediately.

Thanks @BIWI I am impatient- I started two weeks before everyone else so I’ve been stuck at 11 stone for four weigh ins now Sad
Yesterday for example I had 2 cream coffees, a pack of celery with saint Agur spread and some chicken satay sticks for lunch and dinner was FLGV with about 6 meatballs in a tomatoey sauce (all of it was 3g carbs per 100g or less) I had all my water and didn’t feel hungry.

I haven’t cheated.

I just think I need to get under the 11 stone mark to feel encouraged to KOKO.

On the plus side, I have a flatter tummy, feel better in many ways.

If I can’t stick the three day egg fast I will just cut out dairy (apart from butter) and see what happens then.

@absopugginglutely why not try cutting out the dairy first, and eat normal meals, rather than resorting to something as extreme as the egg fast?

I'm in week 3 as joined late, noted a small loss of maybe half a pound this morning. A total of 6 pounds so far. Tops are looser and jeggings baggy so happy that things are moving in the right direction. Even is scales say something else.

Food plan:
B - two boiled eggs with butter.
L - omelette with vegetables
D - pork loin with buttery cauliflower

What is an egg fast? Do you eat nothing but eggs? I’d be so constipated I’d weigh more!

absopuggnglutely Like BIWI says, cut out or down the dairy. I'm one of those people who can't have too much cream and crème fraiche when low carbing as it seems to slow my weight loss down. At least in the first few weeks until properly fat adapted.

I loose the most if I add butter or oil (to vegetables or in cooking) as my fat source rather than dairy. I can eat quite a bit of hard cheese though for some reson. Unfortunately I can't replace the cream in my coffee with coconut oil as it triggers a few 'runs to the toilet'! so am having just one coffee with cream a day.

Am tempted to order some MCT oil to add to food too. Anyone use MCT oil?

Struggling with drinking enough water though - my stomach is turning every time I pick up a glass of water though I'm forcing some down I know it's nowhere near enough.

Had a rough week - time of the month and was accidentally glutened at a friends during the week so am feeling completely rubbish at the moment. Not her fault, she used mustard in a beef stew without realising it had wheat in it.

Still new week so KOKO

I've lost 1.4lb this week. Quite happy with that! I've lost 5.8lb on this bootcamp so far so it's going in the right direction.

My next mini target is to take off 5lb to take me under 200lb. The next 5lb off will take me to under 14 stone.

@absopugginglutely the first time I did bootcamp, I stayed the same for weeks. In the end I stopped weighing myself completely until the last week (I think) and had somehow lost about a stone. Good luck, and KOKO. Flowers

Hi all! I've been really busy, but have read and caught up. I find cheese and cream slow my weight loss down, and cream also makes my stomach bad. A little is ok, I just have to be careful.
I initially lose weight on my pot belly, but then that stops and I lose everywhere but there.🤷‍♀️

Anyway...remember how last week I was regaining some of the weight again?
I was really, super strict...made sure I wasn't accidentally eating too many carbs, cut out cheese, reduced cream and increased butter, had marmite drinks and 3 litres of water a day... and I still increased to a total of 4 lbs.
I was preparing myself to be happy that I'd lost 5 lbs in 4 weeks instead of 9...but...
Today, I've lost all 4 of those pounds, so I've (again) lost 9 lbs so far. Hmm Grin

I'll have to carry on being strict though, as I'm now in the week before my period, when I also typically retain water and also want ALL THE FOOD. Hopefully, it won't be as bad on this woe, but i suppose I'm getting mentally prepared to regain those 4 lbs. 😭

abso intermittent fasting is supposed to help when your weight loss is stalling, maybe give that a try?
That being said, I don't know what height you are but I also stick at 11st, I cant get any lower than that (hence why 11st is my goal weight Grin) but it puts me at a small size 12 which I'm comfortable with too. I don't know why but my body really doesn't like going any smaller than that. Im 5ft6.
Maybe you have a similar issue??

Meal plan for today.
L: smoked mackerel fillet and scrambled eggs with some asparagus.
D: Brussel sprouts with cheese and two pork chops.

Stayed the same which is all I deserve after 3 days away with some cheating breakfast buffet at the Pig, and hardly any water, alongside some good choices. Disappointing as the previous week was a 2lb gain though so I've barely lost this bootcamp overall, yet.

Great food yesterday:
B: just a cup of tea with milk, mid morning run
L: a chorizo, tomatoey shallot thing with eggs in it, will definitely make again!
D: roast pork, Brussels, spring greens and mashed swede.

Already swum before work today, it's brilliant as I get the pool to myself for most of the time!

Okay, I will just cut out cheese and only have 1 cream coffee a day, eat more butter and do intermittent fasting and see what happens then.
I already have loads of veg in and it will go off if I egg fast anyway.
Yes I am 5.7 and my body just wants to be 11 stone but pre DD if I was putting in this much effort I’d have sat happily at 10.4!
Anyway thanks again and I love the marmite drink idea.
I’m off to soft play now I’ve akready had a buttery 2 egg omelette and have packed a tuna mayo salad for lunch so I’m not tempted by the crap there.

We’ll done on all the losses everyone.

I like the idea of not weighing for a few weeks, thank you.

(Sorry not to mention names, my phone is very jerky when I try to scroll back!)

2.9lbs down for me which I am happy with, that's 10lbs since we started.

NSV is my stretchy jeans are now baggy on my legs. The same cannot yet be said for my arse Grin
