Morning!

Here's what you have all been waiting for!

I love this week, because there are always some fabulous results - and those who really didn't believe it was going to work are always amazed!

Well the two meal a day thing didn't quite go to plan, I did have tuna mayo with some salad leaves for lunch and dinner is going to be as planned (except having shallots and mushrooms with the kale instead of cauliflower rice.. really couldn't be bothered to grate the cauliflower..)
I'm feeling really snacky today, sorry if tmi but I started bleeding yesterday and don't know if it's my real period as I had one last week too! And one the week before that... just little ones but I never know where my real period is because of this coil (merina).. I'm a little moody, spotty and didn't sleep well last night but don't feel any more bloated than usual (which is a sign for me..) idk what the feck is going on.. but just gonna ride it out.

StabMeReapers · 27/10/2019 16:58

Mononon are you in any pain? Hard to tell as you have both lchf and the coil as factors, but do pop back to gynae if this keeps up, won’t you?

Pub lunch with children today, chef on holiday so they’d outsourced a hog roast. One of the best I’d ever had, plus a slaw without mayo but with fennel and spices —owner is Greek so much if the food has a twist and is beautifully fresh. I didn’t have the applesauce, but I did have two bites of stuffing off the bun and six of my daughter’s chips.

If it had been served on a plate rather than a slab of wood, I’d have made a proper lchf meal out of it. As it is, I’m not too worried. Cheating, yes, but minimal.

Tonight is fried sea bass and fried kale, spinach, and roasted celeriac. If I can manage it. Drinking so much water I can’t envision being hungry until morning.

B: leftover chilli
L: Baxter's pea, broccoli and pesto soup (slightly carby at 5.8g per 100g) plus a couple of Babybel
S: steak and cauliflower cheese

Also made brownies for tomorrow's workmen and scraped the bowl. Have already slapped myself on the wrists with a suitably-sized stick and am not tempted to eat any of the finished product!

No, no pain but then I tend not to get cramps anyway.. I've had issues with random bleeding for a while and I'm due in for a pelvic ultrasound next week too.. if nothing's found they'll just say it's the coil 🙄

I'm not worried, just annoyed because I haven't a clue where I am in my real cycle and I don't know if what/how I'm feeling is due to hormones or not? The spotty face and grumpyness is making me feel like this one is though.. 😑

I'm away for a week so I've weighed early. Down 1.6lb.
I have to say I'm dead pleased but I'll struggle to low carb as I'm in Centre Parcs. Any tips welcome.

I'll keep an eye on here for inspiration.

Thanks for so many good meal ideas and continuing inspiration.

I have a slower weight loss these days (10lb from target) but am down another dress size 😀

BIWitch · 27/10/2019 21:44

Evening all!

I'm starting the week 3 thread a bit early as I have to be up and out of the house first thing tomorrow morning.

venusandmars · 27/10/2019 22:46

@BIWI Up early, in semi-retirement?? What's gone wrong with the world Grin

BIWitch · 28/10/2019 07:40

I know @venusandmars! Have to get my car into the garage before everyone else arrives with theirs, so I can get one of my brake lights replaced. #livingthedream

Doing that intermittent fasting thing it’s really working. Started Oct 8th lost 5kg so inspired. Trying to skip the meals I can get away with and no snacking. We on holiday on city break so walking about 4-5 miles a day. Today no breakfast omelette and quarter of chocolate cake for lunch. Trying to have nothing else today. Also done 30 min high impact cardio.

venusandmars · 30/10/2019 15:46

if you're interested in low carb (which combines well with intermittent fasting but not with chocolate cake) we are now on THIS THREAD
