Isn't 10 weeks a long time!

The Spreadsheet of Fabulousness is here one last time

Although this is the last official weigh-in, this thread will stay up for general chat/support until the next Bootcamp - probably in October.

I hope everyone has a good 'final' result.

Every Bootcamp is different, but this one has, I have to say, been remarkably well behaved Grin. I've lost the Big Stick somewhere in the back of a cupboard!

While I know you're all here and reading because I know people don't read all the posts if you want to take the opportunity to meet @ShagMeRiggins (and me) for a lighthearted Bootcamp style & beauty event probably with gin thrown in for good measure send me a PM!

Ooh, Happy Birthday BIWI! I would never dream of calling you Old Bag. Grin

Welcome to hightymike and welcome back to Mimosa. It’s such a fun place to be that clearly no one can stay away.

Thanks for the sympathy, all, but nothing anyone can do. It’s one of those “just when you think you’re getting on top of things, life throws something new your way” situations. But I can’t complain, really. I have a very good life.

What I do need is inspiration to eat more but I’ve no energy to go all Michel Roux Jr in the kitchen just now!

ShagMeRiggins · 03/09/2019 10:45

And SummerSazz, please accept my condolences for the loss of your mother. You’re in my thoughts. Flowers

ShagMeRiggins · 03/09/2019 10:51

Finally...am I the only one who reads BMI as BIWI on a regular basis? What a mind fuck.

Happy birthday! Slightly odd food day here

B - cheese, almonds (about 7)
Snack - 2 peppered ham slices
L - roast chicken and cauliflower cheese
T - no idea

venusandmars · 03/09/2019 13:24

Happy Birthday @BIWI

Now isn't that strange, in my head I thought you would be in the age range 35-45... Not an old gimmer like me!! Now't so strange as t'internet

1Wildheartsease · 03/09/2019 13:42

Happy Birthday BIWI - you have earned a new title -not 'old bag', though; I think the 'wise woman' is a better fit. (No tall hat/black cat/broomstick required for that, but you can suggest herbal remedies and give advice on everything)

ShagMeRiggins and water warnings - welcome back, you have been missed. (My cup is now overflowing again!) Sorry to hear that things are tough. I hope this is something you can get through soon.

Rshard · 03/09/2019 13:54

Happy birthday to BIWI! 🎉

And 💐 to those that need them.

Last bit of the summer holidays and I can’t wait to get back into the usual routine.

I’m fancying a go at some online yoga - usually do yoga by Adrienne.

NigellaAwesome · 03/09/2019 17:32

@Rshard I think about do Yoga By Adriene too. She's great.

1Wildheartsease · 03/09/2019 17:34

Yoga is great! I've found classes very useful - for understanding how to check my position in the various poses. Yoga by Adriene sounds good too.

Cauliflowerpower · 03/09/2019 17:56

Happy birthday @BIWI ! 🍾🎂💐🎈🥂 it was my birthday yesterday too! Ialso wouldn't call you an old bag (fear of the BIWI stick?!?!?!) I think you have a youthful voice so I think of you as 35-40 if that doesn't sound to weird! Mind you o was 45 yesterday and I FEEL like a bloody old bag.

I have fallen from t'wagon again. I'm on holiday next week so I'm going to start again after that... if anyone finds my motivation please post it back...

Almahart · 03/09/2019 18:03

Happy birthday @BIWI enjoy the Cake and Wine!!!!!

Shannith · 03/09/2019 19:33

Just helping a friend with diabetes meal plan so this is useful. Type 2 but not caused by weight - damaged liver function.

Mimosa1 · 03/09/2019 20:01

Happy birthday @BIWI !

SittingontheSidelines · 03/09/2019 20:14

@ShagMeRiggins hope things have taken a turn for the better now. Thanks

Happy Birthday @BIWI 60? You're still a baby ThanksWine

ShagMeRiggins · 03/09/2019 20:15

Cauliflowerpower Happy Birthday to you, too!

Regarding holiday, no need to chuck it all in then start again. Why not use the opportunity to challenge yourself with the best, tastiest, most interesting Bootcamp-friendly options you can find? Maybe the odd once in a while, but why not think of it as Maintenance Practice rather than a Fall Off (the **Mythical) Wagon?

Just a thought, and long-term Bootcampers will remember **one poster who had the epiphany about this being a Way of Eating rather than a “diet.”: THERE IS NO WAGON. THIS IS HOW I EAT.

SittingontheSidelines · 03/09/2019 20:17

Got over excited there dishing out the wine and flowers and forgot to write down my food

Lunch. Cheese salad

Dinner roasted cauliflower steaks with mushrooms and onions and two fried eggs on top. A side of roasted green beans which were sadly incinerated

SittingontheSidelines · 03/09/2019 20:18

Happy Birthday @Cauliflowerpower WineThanksGin

Rshard · 03/09/2019 20:43

Ha ha nigella, I haven’t actually started the yoga again.…! It’s good shagme, easy to follow just by listening to her, she explains well.

Happy birthday cauliflower 🎉

SummerSazz · 03/09/2019 21:45

Thanks @ShagMeRiggins and good to 'see' you as I've been awol for a while

Happy birthday to @BIWI and @Cauliflowerpower

@Almahart I came back from holiday last Monday and haven't had a drink since last Sun so 9 days and feel great for it. I'm away with work for the next couple of days where there will be copious amounts of alcohol and my willpower is crap when it's wafted under my nose. I'd love to stay strong especially as I am presenting sessions on both days but we shall see....

I do Pilates every week day morning and that sets me up nicely for being 'good' during the day otherwise the 6am alarm is wasted. I've done over 20k steps today so feeling even more virtuous!!

princessbear80 · 03/09/2019 22:01

1Wildheartsease · 03/09/2019 23:58

B: Babybel and walnuts

coffee with butter

L: Egg mayo
water

D: chicken leg roasted with olive oil - roasted kale/broccoli/celeriac
2 squares of dark dark choc
rosehip tea

Almahart · 04/09/2019 11:07

Wow @SummerSazz 20k steps!

Have completely gone off alcohol. Am feeling a bit tired and nauseous- think must have some kind of a bug.

I am finding it very easy to get back into the swing of lchf though, which is great.

YesQueen · 04/09/2019 12:11

So tired today. My period has gone wonky, I've had a 29 day cycle followed by a 23 day one and it lasted ages too so presuming it's the low carbing
