Starting tomorrow's thread early as I'm not around in the morning

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

So far there seem to be some great results already, so I'm hoping they've continued over the weekend.

I love this week because the first weigh-ins are often spectacular, but also all those who were less than convinced are amazed how much they've lost!

It really sounds to me like people have really got to grips with this WOE, which is fantastic.

Here's to you all, and wishing you a good result on the scales tomorrow. (Or with the tape measure or the clothes you're trying on, if that's your preferred method of monitoring progress!)

Bugger. Nando's don't deliver here and neither deliveroo or uber eats offer it. Soooooo disappointed....

Until I got home and DH had got steaks out yummers

D - steak roasted courgette and mushrooms 😁😁

VeryLittleOwl · 24/05/2019 21:06

With many, many, many apologies for lowering the tone, but how long roughly does it take for your digestive system to adjust to the shock of all the extra vegetables?? Mine is still going from nothing to green explosion and back again every few days! [embarrassed] It definitely didn't do this last time I low carbed, but I'm eating a lot more vegetables and salad this time round.

Summery1 · 24/05/2019 21:52

Thanks for the scratchings tip! I actually passed M&S in Dublin today but didn't think of them.

B: 2 poached eggs, with mushrooms spinach and tomato. Coffee with milk.
L: Chopped salad with chicken blue cheese and olive oil - lettuce cucumber celery tomato scallion, mint leaves,
D: salmon, celariac mash, green veg stirfry, coleslaw. Butter for the mash and green veg.

Peckish after and ate half a burger pattie.Blush
I really fancy CHOCOLATE!

Summery1 · 24/05/2019 21:54

Sorry owl I don't know. Guts here are well behaved.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 24/05/2019 21:54

Delicious dinner - late back from rehearsal so quickly pan-fried some plaice fillets with asparagus and samphire in lovely salty butter.

Lunch was spinach leaves in olive oil with salt beef and avocado, and breakfast was two boiled eggs.

TheWaiting · 24/05/2019 21:57

Shit! My 1lb loss led to such a dip in my motivation that I’ve just had pizza and wine. I didn’t even enjoy the pizza (I did the wine) it felt heavy and horrible and now my tummy actually hurts. Sad How could I be so stupid and pathetic? If nothing else, it’s shown me that I’m a ridiculously emotional eater. I will undoubtedly have thrown myself out of Keto and need to go back to the start and feeling rough. I was actually feeling so healthy too. Sad Sad

IStillMissBlockbuster · 24/05/2019 21:58

My stomach is objecting too Sad

TheWaiting · 24/05/2019 22:11

Sorry, IStillMissBlockbuster. I didn’t read that you’d fallen off the wagon too. I feel shit over it; both emotionally and physically.

But...it’s made me realise what awful junk such crap carbs are and how my body doesn’t want them and feels 100% better without them. So instead of giving up, I’m getting back on the horse first thing tomorrow. Apologies for mixed metaphors Grin

venusandmars · 24/05/2019 22:21

@m0therofdragons that is a brilliant graph. I bet that every 'up' broke your heart and your spirit but by keeping on going, you got to the next 'down' stage. That's what we have to remember - that it is a fluctuation, but if we keep to this way, the overall picture is amazing. Well done

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 24/05/2019 22:24

"Oh, lovely, chocolate! Which one shall I have first?"
"Ah, yes, wine! Do I want red or white?"

FFS DH, stop narrating your treats!!

m0therofdragons · 24/05/2019 22:38

@TheWaiting the pizza bit in my post wasn't the bit you were supposed to be inspired by! Seriously, it's one meal. Start again tomorrow morning, get straight back on it and the damage will be minimal! You can do this so ignore that part of your brain trying to ruin it for you.

I'm doing my first park run in weeks tomorrow at a new venue. I'm seriously nervous which is stupid as I've completed 7 in February to April.... oh god, I don't even know where I put my trainer Blush

TheWaiting · 24/05/2019 23:12

Grin good luck with the run!

venusandmars · 24/05/2019 23:47

Owl by 4 - 5 weeks your guts should be quiet. No turbulence, no farting, no cramping. My tummy is so much more settled and quieter on this woe

@thewaiting you lost a pound. One whole pound. That is something to celebrate. Every ounce is fab, each gram is amazing. All of us are our own experiment. You and I could eat the same meals for a week - you might lose a pound and I might put on a pound, we just don't know. But what we do know is that is you follow the rules that @BIWI has created in this wonderful bootcamp, then gradually, step-by-step you WILL loose weight.

But NOT, NOT, NOT if you have pizza and wine. (and I hope your tummy is feeling better). Back on your horse tomorrow Smile

venusandmars · 24/05/2019 23:55

In terms of 'ups' and 'downs' here is a section of my weights over the last year.

Week 2 - May '19 LC Bootcamp - my favourite week!
venusandmars · 25/05/2019 00:11

As you can imagine the 'up' sections feel shite. But the overriding thing is from the top left, to the bottom right …. a loss of more than a stone.

readyforsunshine · 25/05/2019 06:53

Thanks for the welcome chipping Smile
Gree I just about manage to look the other way while dh pours his daily wine but when he comes through with hot buttered toast last thing I feel murderous!
Another loss on day 4 here, 155lb, almost at the 11stone marker. Woke up early & very hungry! Stay strong over the W/e everyone, always the time of week I lose my resolve & wander off track.

FizzyPink · 25/05/2019 07:41

Am already feeling this weekend is going to be tough. Skipped work drinks last night to resist the temptation, having beer, cider and Prosecco on tap in our office is not helpful! But my friends want to go to a brewery type bar tomorrow where the only food they sell is pizza, although I did spot pork scratchings on the bar menu so that may be for me 😬

FizzyPink · 25/05/2019 07:44

I am however loving thinking about all the money I’ll be saving from all the cocktails, champagne, cheat food etc that I won’t be eating!

Rshard · 25/05/2019 07:45

Still struggling to stay up to date with the tread and I’m so bad with name checking back to individuals!

To those who are wobbling or actually falling off the wagon, draw a line and clamber back up!

Youwanapizzame · 25/05/2019 07:53

Good morning campers. Friday is always a v long day for me.as i take my mum shopping sheet work so didn't in until late and just collapsed ate dinner and went to bed.

Were going to a friends for the day. She's doing pizza which I did say was fine but im going to take a large salad and deli meats, olives and tzatziki so I can swerve it!

I've said it before but does anyone get a feeling when they're losing weight? Like a tickling in the tummy? Add sometimes (usually when in bed) I feel it and think "ooooh I'm eating myself " weird I know...

Have a great day in the sunshine xxx

Youwanapizzame · 25/05/2019 07:55

Ooooh @turnedouttoes yes!!! All the money I'm saving on food at work! I added it up once, it came to about £100 one month (that is breakfast and lunch plus coffees) but 😱😱😱

SittingontheSidelines · 25/05/2019 08:00

Just caught up again. Love hearing about the NSVs, they're just what I need for inspiration as I think I may not have lost this week as well.

I don't think I'm eating more veg this way (I've always eaten lots of veg) but without the carbs added into the mix my stomach is much more settled, hardly any farting now, and a much nicer consistency to my stools. (I can't believe I just wrote that, sorry to anyone who finds that tmi)

Forgot to post yesterday's food
Breakfast yogurt
Lunch leftover salmon and asparagus.
Dinner stir fry veg and turkey.

FizzyPink · 25/05/2019 08:01

@youwanapizzame yes I really notice that as well! I work in a big team of men who go to lunch every day and spend a good £7-10 (London) They laugh at my leftovers but I’m saving to buy a house and I know how much all that eating out every day, snacks, coffee etc adds up! That’s partly why I love this woe so much because it forces me to be organised and know what I’ll be eating each day so much less temptation!

Youwanapizzame · 25/05/2019 08:18

@turnedouttoes when I added it up I was properly ashamed! I thought we could have a holiday for £1200 over a year!!! And I'm eating it. No wonder am the size of a cottage

MrsBertBibby · 25/05/2019 08:27

New low weight this morning! And it's taken me past half a stone lost.
