Morning all. Sorry for lateness of the thread.

Here's the spreadsheet

As the title says, only two more weeks left! But that still means there's time to shed a couple more pesky pounds.

Hope you all have a good week

Can you imagine how much we'd starve ourselves in the run up to a bootcamp meeting?

I've been on a previous weight loss thread and did go to a meet up.

I got down to 10 stone which is over a stone from where I am now so it does work Grin

Doilooklikeatourist · 07/03/2019 21:30

South Wales here ( but can travel )

MrsKoala · 07/03/2019 21:33

I'm west Kent.

I have stored my naked noodles in my laksa (I waited for it to go cold first as it was the heat I thought might mush them not so much the liquid). It was very nice. All my food today has been very nice in fact. I had 8oz sirloin, green salad and coleslaw at Wethers for lunch at 12.30 (my 16hr fast was over at 11 but DH suggested lunch out as he was working from home so I waited), avocado for a snack at 5pm and chicken and prawn laksa for dinner at 8.30.

Trying to work out what to do for dinner tomorrow. Maybe pork belly of some sort.

In the comments on a daily Mail article about keto resulting in an increased risk of heart arrhythmias a poster said aldi do a bread that has 5 carbs for two slices.

Anyone know a thing about this?

m0therofdragons · 07/03/2019 22:23

I'm South Somerset.

Weighed before bed (which I try not to do as the scales always go up at night so I go to bed down - why my brain thinks it'll be different one time is beyond me). I was still under 11st! I feel like I'm officially in the 10s now!

Now to head towards the lower 10s...

Dia12 · 07/03/2019 22:31

I've only ever read daily mail comments for laughter and usually more shocked than I am amused!

Well done @m0therofdragons - that's brill. I'm far too petrified to weigh myself at night. And I'm still struggling to lose the last 2lbs to get into the 10s! So well done you!

ShagMeRiggins · 07/03/2019 22:35

If only we all lived in a reasonably close proximity to each other!!!

We’re all going to end up in Birmingham, aren’t we?Hmm

SummerSazz · 07/03/2019 22:42

@ShagMeRiggins Birmingham is good for me Grin

tootstastic · 07/03/2019 22:45

@nowlook arfing at Barry (sorry @BIWI, but it's really tickled me). Perhaps we should meet in Bazzers hometown of Cleckheaton Grin

I'm East mids, but would be up for travelling for a meet up.

Dia12 · 07/03/2019 22:45

You're all welcome to lc coffee and nibbles at mine!

chocolateavocado99 · 07/03/2019 22:58

Been out the last 2 nights. Last night, in a restaurant, i watched everyone, even dh drink beer, i chose lc food which was good, but was not satisfied with my soda. I should have had a diet coke.

The night before I avoided pizza, cake and champagne - something I do not see enough of in my life!

Results. I now weigh 71.2 kg which is what I was at before my visitors came and we went on holiday. KOKO

Notlostjustexploring · 07/03/2019 23:54

I'm currently on mat leave and met a friend for lunch in a farm shop cafe today. I was expecting to be drinking a black coffee while watching her eat a panini and cake.

Best place ever.

I had a rare fillet steak. With a creamed spinach side. And tons of garlic butter. For lunch. On a Thursday.

venusandmars · 08/03/2019 07:19

Food today:
B - nutty granola with raspberries and blueberries
L - boiled eggs mashed with butter
D - salmon, roast tomato, roast cabbage, kale

AandL · 08/03/2019 07:22

Nice one notlost!
Just had the leftover sausage bake for brekky, with creamy coffee.
Lunch is meal out
Dinner is undecided, maybe just some egg salad and LC toast.

m0therofdragons · 08/03/2019 07:38

Thank you @Dia12 I've danced around 11.1-10.13 for a couple of weeks! Hoping I can make good decisions this weekend!

BIWI · 08/03/2019 07:46

I had a guilt dream last night - dreamt I was drinking lager. I haven't drunk lager for years so no idea why my brain picked that Grin

nowlook · 08/03/2019 07:52

I bet it was pints an all.

I'm going to try and eat better today. Full disclosure, I ate a tuna pot and a piece of cheddar yesterday and we all know that's cheating. I'm not going to kid myself that it was an intended fast day: I was hungry, but I was lazy and also wanted the scales to move.

Siameasy · 08/03/2019 07:55

I’m in Kent

Some weird NSVs
No farting. I swear I do not fart any more on this WOE. Anyone else
Enhanced sense of smell
Increased mental resilience
General sense of giving even fewer f*cks (and I didn’t give many anyhow)

Siameasy · 08/03/2019 07:59

Didn’t read the DM but my Sil told me about it

They always try to make out low carb is unhealthy but I’m eating more veg than ever. All home cooked food (apart from kebab😁). For lunch today I’ve got a sausage casserole with three different home made salads (mil coming for lunch). But no apparently that might cause heart arrhythmias. Lol

nowlook · 08/03/2019 08:02

@Siameasy Grin

I read that as "metal resilience". Thought you were turning superhero on us. Or had kicked a long-standing Megadeth habit...

Siameasy · 08/03/2019 08:15

Lol DH likes that music

BIWI · 08/03/2019 08:39

Grin @ metal resilience!

@nowlook - my Barry rep goes before me! But no, it was actually much more posh bottled lager. Green glass. No idea what the brand was though!

Re the Daily Mail I did notice yesterday, when I was in Waitrose just for the avoidance of any doubt that I'm not a naice middle class ladyee, the headline on the front page shrieking that the 800 calorie per day diet has been proven to reverse/cure Type 2 diabetes. If they'd done their homework properly, they would also have realised that this is linked with the Mediterranean diet (once the 800 calories per day is over), which is also a low carb diet.

A clear case of the right hand not bothering to find out what the left hand is writing about!
